had a bad experience with E C M, I had a leak in the shower. The licensed plumber that they sent didn't know where the main was in the Cando, My boyfriend told him it's next to the water heater, I look, I can't find it. He says.. then he had a brilliant idea. He wanted me to hire another plumber to turn off the main to the entire building, (yes 40 apartments) so that he could do the job... my boyfriend drove 4 hours from Jacksonville to Boca in order to show the license plumber where the main is...and that didn't help either, they didn't have the right tools to do the job,... he threw him out and called the company to complain, they told him that they don't have to know where the main is....it's like you You go to the doctor and He tells you...I don't know where your heart is... Anyway, it turns out that they don't touch Water maine in Apartment buildings. they are just scared to do it. I look and see 96 percent Positive Review.... This is probably a joke. it reminds me of elections in Russia...if you live in an apartment , and you intrude with E C M, it can definitely happen to you too!!!

We have a service contract with ECM for 3 years now. We were talked into buying a new air conditioner by the rep who was adding Freon to our 10 year old upstairs unit. The cost was $7800 and we’re told it was an upscale Lennox unit. Since we dealt with them we trusted them. It turns out it was the low end unit! For the last 2 months it will not get our upstairs lower than 85 degrees running non stop all day. The promised 53% energy savings actually raised my electric bill 100%. They have been out 4 times and replaced the coil and nothing helps! They told ME to call Lennox! How’s that for customer service? They advertise as the company that cares! The manager I had talked to now won’t return calls after telling me he will see what they can do. We are suffering through summer and at wits end. Need help please.

ECM had completed a tune up in June 2024 and all was well according to the tune up person. On 7/17/24 we had no air conditioner working and ECM sent over a specialist. He found that our 2 year old system had a evaporator coil leak. Temporarily he put in 2 pounds of R410A for $200. Plus we had to pay a $90 service fee. The part is under the manufacturers warranty ******************* but ECM wanted to charge $1,499 to install the part. They do not do it by the hour, but by the job. That is an outrageous price. Beyond outrageous!! Anyone who uses ECM to do work on their air conditioner in my opinion is paying more than the market price by a huge amount. I am now getting it done by a licensed qualified person for $650. DO NOT USE ECM unless you shop around!!! Shop around and ask a friend for a recommendation.

I made an appointment up for the 29-point AC Tune Up. ********************* whom the company sent to service my A/C was not here for more than 5 minutes when he told me there was no point in doing the tune up because i needed a new air conditioner. Prior to his visit I was having no issues with the A/C. He then gave me a quote for a new A/C for over $9000.00. While he was on the phone getting the quote he made a point of saying I was on a fixed income (he had no way of knowing this) and asked if they could give me a discount. The final quote was for $7800.00. I said thank you and would let him know my decision. I then called the company who installed the A/C and asked for the same tune up. That service person was herer for 90 minutes doing the tune up and said the A/C was working fine and that I did not need a new unit at this time. I feel ********************* and ECM were trying to scare me into purchasing a new A/C system when one was not needed.

This business is price gouging their customers. I was told the ********************** call would be $120 and service call would be deducted from price of repair. Technician was here for approximately 45 minutes, replaced a $30 part, and charged $290. Even if doubling price of part, the total would still be under $200.DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.

We needed a capacitor replaced in our compressor for the air conditioner. The part in ********** is between 20 and 30 dollars. We were charged ***** just to come diagnose the problem (which later was not applied to the repair) and then an additional ****** for parts and labor. This is price gouging. The service guy was at my house maybe 10 minutes.Im looking to get my ***** back because we agreed to the work and they should have applied that diagnostic charge to the job.

to share my expirience is very very unprofessional the sales people in air conditioning are not very good at listening they talk over you , the manager **** or ***** lies to your face the whole department is in agreement with each other to cover up their mistakes I m so disgusted by their treatment . I guess they want people that just pay and don't ask questions and abide by what they say I am not like that When I complained to a manager he did nothing as matter fact he covered them It really shows it starts at the top. BEWARE check reviews before you sign up with them don't say you did not know .

We have looked into your account and listened to our recordings. What we learned is you requested to purchase a contract.  Our representative inadvertently sent over a quote to you with an incorrect amount (doubling the total charge). She immediately caught the error, resent the corrected quote and advised you of such. After this, our office received repeated calls from you throughout the day complaining about the error. So much so, that one of our managers at ECM eventually advised you that we believe you may want to contract shop elsewhere as ECM may not be the best company for you at this time. We are sorry for the error but, again, you were immediately notified, and the error was in your favor.

ECM is a company thats provides ************* service warranties. *** had a contract with them for 4 years. Starting late last year they began trying to add on charges for covered services. It took weeks to get them to do the particular repair. They finally agreed it was covered. Then I had a plumbing issue with no water pressure in the shower. It took 2 weeks for the part. They finally came. I wasnt watching the repairman change out the part. After about 60 seconds he came out of the bathroom and says the part wont work so we will have to open up the whole shower wall and find the clog. He quoted me $1000. I sent him away. Then I called a trusted plumber and was told that he never replaced the part cause that was where the problem was. It cost me $45. Im very cautious and dont ever trust the first estimate, but what really jacks me up is all the elderly widows in ************* that trust these people to be honest with them. They know most of these ladies dont understand the repairs theyre doing which makes it SO DESPICABLE! Then I found out through one of the employees that they are being acquired by another company and to extort as much as possible from the customer, even if its a covered repair. I hope and pray this review will get to people before they sign up with ECM. ??????

Installed new air conditioner with ECM in February 2024. Ive been battling with them ever since to try to come back and finish the work that we paid them for in full.. since then we have called many many times, and each time are given a runaround and told yes theyre coming to finish, but no one ever shows up and we never get a call back. Each time we call, theres a different excuse. Do not trust this company.

I be came a customer thru Home Depot in 2022 thru a promotion. Well in Dec 2023 they email me a flyer for a 29 point a/c tune-up for $49.00. On 1/19/24 they came to the house, first thing was told to the tech was having problem with the Thermostat and he responded he don't work on Thermostat, but that is the fist thing on their list. He said we have to get it fix and he will come back at no charge, that was Friday. So on Saturday I called the company to request a credit for the $49.00. I s/w a mane and he said he will put in for the credit to that dept. My son replace the Thermostat over the weekend, so I called back that Monday s/w a lady and she told me I was charge for Friday and will be charge again if the tech come back to the house even he did nothing. I looked up company on Sunbiz own by **** * ******* live at ***** ** ******* ***** **, Jupiter Fl *****. He must know the rip off that his company his doing. S/W his mgr telling me they have 2 difference tech that don't work on Thermostat. So why send him out to do a tune up if can;t do the work.
