I wish i had read the reviews on this company before i rented a unit there. The price they advertise is not what you will be charged. I havent even had a unit for a calendar year yet and my rent has increased nearly $100 from my initial agreement. The units also are not protected from the elements. Your belongings will be covered in dust, dirt, spiders, mice droppings, bugs, etc. Their customer service is terrible. Highly would recommend going anywhere other than this company for your storage needs.Storage Rentals of America

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Were truly sorry to hear that your expectations were not met and that you encountered frustration regarding both the rate adjustments and unit conditions.
We understand that unexpected rent increases can be upsetting. Our District Manager recently spoke with you to explain the timing and reason for rate changes, and as a courtesy, your rate increase has been deferred for 30 days. We hope this helps ease the transition and demonstrates our willingness to work with you.
We also regret any inconvenience caused by dust or exposure in the unit. Storage units are not airtight, so we recommend using protective coverings to help safeguard items. We do offer a variety of moving and packing supplies at our local offices and are happy to assist with recommendations. Our team also invited you to inspect your unit for any potential areas needing repairwere committed to ensuring our facilities are maintained and secure, and we will gladly dispatch a vendor if needed.
Please know that our local Minnesota-based team is here to support you. If theres anything further, we can do, dont hesitate to reach outwe value your feedback and the opportunity to improve your experience.

I rented a storage unit from this place hasnt even been a week yet and so what is already broken into my storage unit a lot of cracker heads sleeping in their storage units and breaking in your storage unit at night if you value your bologna is you wouldnt use this storage company I rather pay more knowing my stuff is safer than the property manager allowing crackhead to sleep at the storage unit and then breaking in your storage unit after 10 oclock when you cant get in the gateStorage Rentals of America

It is the absolute worst customer service ever. I rented a ********************** unit from them and had it for two months; they charged me a $75 damage and cleaning fee. I had no idea what it was from, so I contacted them four different times, and they refused to respond to me Even though they would respond within an hour to any other email. I would send it to them. The office staff refuses to allow me to speak to their district manager. It continues to say the manager will call me because I would like to express my concerns regarding the customer service Ive had and still have never heard back.Storage Rentals of America

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Were sorry to hear about your recent experience and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation.
After reviewing your account, we found that on March 4th, our property manager observed items left behind, including a dresser placed outside the dumpster and the facilitys locked dumpster having been pried open and filled. A voicemail was left for you that same day requesting that the items be removed to avoid a cleanup fee.
As we did not receive a response or see the items removed, a $75 cleaning and damage fee was applied on March 8th. We understand that unexpected charges can be frustrating, and we made every effort to provide notice and allow time for resolution prior to applying the fee.
Were sorry if you experienced any difficulty reaching our team afterward. If youd still like to speak with a district manager, we will be sending an email to the DM with your information to contact.
