      On 7/20/2020 I received this letter from select management resources, LLC, I promptly called them on 7/20/20 and gave them all my current up to date information such as my full name, current address and phone number. They said it could be wait of almost 90 day's for my refund check to arrive, on 12/15/2021 I called them to see what was going on because it had been more than 90 days and they said they will put my name on the list and send out my check when it is time. For almost 3 years I have been calling once a week and every time I call them they tell me they will put my name on the list and that the check has not been sent out yet and that they will send it when they can. When I called on 10/5/2022 they again said it has not been sent out to me yet and when they find out what is going on as to why I have not received it they will email me, So again I called on 10/10/2022 and they said that there has been no change and can not give me any information as to why I have not received my check or the email regardingwhy I have not received it. Iam reaching out to the BBB for help to hopefully get my full check amount and for the company to be held accountable for there lack of communication and information regarding information, I also did some research on this company and it seems like they have done this many times before. Thank you.

      This company owes me $6,866.09 for the difference in the value of my vehicle that was sold at auction and my loan was paid off and all fees were paid. This was the difference and owed to me, the registered owner. On 03/22/22, I received a letter that was from Select Management Resources, LLC stating that vehicle had been sold and I was due this amount but it can take up to 120 days to get the check. 120 days was 7/22/22 and the check was not available on that day. I have made many attempts at contacting this company and left messages to no avail. The only person who I could talk to was the secretary and she only would say that she has no control over when they are mailed out but they are having issues getting the checks cut. She provides no other information. This has been going on for months now.

      I am rejecting this response because: ************ has abhorrent practices in violation of interstate commerce laws, committing several federal felonies while s******* its customers and when the customer doesnt lay off they call the police unnecessarily and lie to the police to dodge responsibility of having to pay the customer back. They kept my money for two years and made thousands of dollars off of money that they legally owed me. They cost me thousands of dollars after refusing to pay me what they owed me. Their employee, ****** out of *******, ** called the police and made a false report about the office in Hays, **. The employee in the **** office showed Corporal ***********************, without a warrant, my account without my permission. ************ is committing fraud and federal felonies with violations of interstate commerce.

      Unfortunately my car was repo after taking a title loan from Loanmax. I was sent a letter saying my car was sold and the amount that I was owed after paying all fees and penalties was ********. I called the number on the letter and was told it could take up to 180 days to send check out. Well i have called several times after the 180 days and gotten same response. We are behind and it hasnt been processed. No other explanation given and no supervisor available to talk to.

      Got title loan about two months ago was able to pay online with debit to satisfy loan. Got another loan about a week ago tried to pay off online but they say I have to pay in person. The representative did not tell me this at time of loan and now I am away for work for 2 weeks and interest on loan is about 17 dollars a day. The paperwork does not state anywhere that people from ************ have to pay in person. What are my options?

      I received a letter, Regarding my reposed vehicle that was sold at a AUCTION. A overdue balance is owed to me In the sun of $23,145.15. My attorney sent a demand payment letter along with a return mailing slip.And they have yet to send my check. My attorney has yet to hear anything from anyone after sending the letter VIA ***** and was signed off as well!       In early 2021 I owned an older vehicle that I had a title loan on. After the vehicle was no longer operating I decided to surrender the vehicle to the tidal loan company. After a couple months the title loan company ( Loan *** in ******** **) sold the car, sent it to auction, e.c.t.. to recover their cost. November 13, 2021 I received a letter from Select Management Resources, LLC, located at ***************************************************************************************************************. The letter was as follows: "The below described vehicle was sold by ******** ********* Services, LLC dba Loan*** at auction. After the application of the proceeds from the sale to the balance on your auction, there was a remaining overage from the sale proceeds in the amount of $1091.16. You are entitled to the return of these funds. To claim these, funds, please call ************ between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm EST. Monday through Friday. When calling, please refer to the claim # listed below""Vehicle Information"Year: 2007 Make: Toytoa Model: Camry VIN: ***************** CLAIM: 1103-10761 Sincerely, Manager " I called the day I received the letter to claim the overage proceeds. I told at that time it would take ***** days to receive the check. I called again January 4, 2022 and was told the same. I then called again April 8, 2022 and advised again it would take another ***** days. Today ( July 28, 2022) I called and was advised they had "issues" sending checks. They could not tell me the timeframe for when my check would be mailed or received. There was no manager name able to be given to me or any other number or way to speak with anyone else or file a complaint. While it may be frustrating, I could understand with staffing issues, etc... delays can happen. However at this point no information is given and I fear this maybe some sort of scam. I would like for this matter and general practices of this company reviewed.

      4/28/2022 I received a letter from Select Management Resources indicating that my 2009 Dodge Ram was auctioned off after being repossessed, the letter said there was a balance of $1,193.85 owed to me from the sale. i called the number as required and some very rude lady answered the phone and told me it would be ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************** After reading hundreds of complaints on BBB you would think this company was guilty of something but BBB has found no wrong doing. I am not the BBB but if someone owes you money especially from the sale of your vehicle no matter how it was taken and sold money from the sale should be given to the owed client without hesitation . I dont feel right when people are rude and have no regard for your situation. You might not find that this is a complaint and find no wrong doings however it is a complaint I have no truck they took it and I need that money to buy a new car, by there holding my money and making me wait 120 days is ludicrous. I dont think this is fair at all its put a hardship on my family in many ways. BBB Please help me get my money
