I am filing a formal complaint against Trident Asset Management for illegally re-aging and attempting to collect on an account I never authorized or openedspecifically an Indigo Mastercard account (#**********) and any other accounts listed under my name. I have never entered into any agreement with Indigo or Trident, and the account in question has already been previously disputed and removed from my credit report.Trident has placed this same account on my credit report twice, using different open dates that do not align, in an attempt to make the debt appear newer than it actually is. This is a clear case of re-aging, which violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) 1681c(a)(4) and is a deceptive practice prohibited under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) 1692e.These actions are not only misleading but damaging. I demand Trident provide a handwritten, signed agreement between myself and the original creditor to validate this debt. No such agreement exists because I never applied for or opened this ********** a result of these violations, Ive experienced credit denials, a drop in my credit score, and undue emotional stress. I demand the immediate and permanent deletion of all accounts ********************** has reported under my name and a written confirmation of removal. Additionally, I request $3,000 in compensation for the damages caused by the illegal re-aging and continued collection activity. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will escalate the issue to the ************************************ (****), ************************ (***), and the ****************************** for further investigation and enforcement action.

      Date: 05/12/2025

      Complaint: 23309463

      To Whom It May Concern:

This is a formal demand for immediate removal and compensation regarding the fraudulent and unlawfully reported Indigo Mastercard account (#**********), as well as any other accounts associated with my name that Trident Asset Management is attempting to collect on.

I have never applied for, authorized, or entered into any agreement with Indigo or Trident. This account was already previously disputed and removed from my credit reports. Trident has now illegally reinserted the same account, under different open dates, in what appears to be a blatant re-aging schemea direct violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (****), 15 U.S.C. 1681c(a)(4), and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S.C. 1692e, for misrepresenting the legal status of a debt.

No original contract bearing my handwritten signature has ever been provided, because none exists. Therefore, this debt remains completely unvalidated under 15 U.S.C. 1692g(b). I am under no obligation to contact Trident, as I have no contractual or legal relationship with your company.

Because of your illegal reporting, I have suffered denials for credit, a significant drop in my credit score, and emotional and reputational harm. I hereby demand:

Immediate and permanent deletion of all accounts associated with my name from all credit reporting agencies.
      Written confirmation of such deletion.
Compensation of $3,000 for willful violations of the **** and FDCPA, unauthorized use of my personal information, and damages resulting from this unlawful activity.

If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will escalate this complaint to the ************************************ (****), ************************ (***), and my State ************************* Continued noncompliance will also be grounds for pursuing legal action.

      Govern yourselves accordingly.

      Date: 05/13/2025

This letter is a formal and final demand for the immediate removal of the Indigo Mastercard account *********************** Account #**********) from all of my credit reports. I did not open, authorize, or acknowledge any account with Indigo or Trident Asset Management. The debt of $612.57 is not mine, and your records are based on inaccurate and fraudulent information.

You claim to have mailed correspondence to me on 6/14/2019 and again on 5/9/2025. Let me be clear: the contact information tied to this account does not belong to me, and I never received any valid notice. Your investigation and validation process are fundamentally flawed as they rely on incorrect personal data.

In addition, the account has been re-aged, which is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S. Code 1681c(a)(4). Re-aging to manipulate the date of delinquency and prolong the reporting period is illegal. This also violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S. Code 1692e, which prohibits false and misleading representations in the collection of a debt.

There is nothing to negotiate. I demand the immediate deletion of this fraudulent account from all credit reporting agenciesExperian, Equifax, and TransUnionand compensation for damages related to the false reporting and emotional distress caused.

If you do not comply within 15 calendar days, I will pursue formal complaints with the ************************************ (****), ************************ (***), Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the ************************* Legal action will also be considered for all damages, including statutory and punitive relief.

      Sincerely,

Im perplexed by TRIDENT ASSET MANAGEMENTs report of a collection on my credit report. Ive never signed any contractual agreement with them or given them permission to collect any debt on my behalf. In fact, Ive never heard of this company until they showed up on my credit.Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S.C. 1692g, I have the right to request validation of any debt they claim to have against me. This requires them to provide a signed contract proving that Im legally responsible for the debt. *** already sent a request for these documents via certified mail, followed up with proof of the certified mail, but I havent received a response.Since theres no such agreement, this collection account is being reported illegally. Additionally, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2(b), mandates that all information provided to credit bureaus must be accurate and verifiable. If the company cant provide proper validation, theyre violating federal law and must immediately delete this account from my credit report.

I am filing a formal complaint against Trident Asset Management regarding an inaccurate and unverifiable collection account reporting on my ******* credit report. The account shows a balance of $680 and contains multiple reporting inconsistencies:The Date of First Delinquency is listed as 06/04/2018, while the Date of Last Activity is 06/01/2018, which is not possible and violates FCRA 611 due to inaccuracy. The account continues to report monthly scheduled and actual payments of $680, despite no payments occurring since 2018. This appears to be re-aging, which is illegal under the **** and FDCPA.The account is flagged simultaneously as Open, Collection, and Consumer disputes after resolution, which is misleading and non-compliant with FCRA 607(b).Additionally, I have never signed a contract or agreement with Trident Asset Management. As a third-party debt buyer, they are required under 15 *** 1692g to provide full debt validation, including:The original signed agreement A complete itemized accounting A chain of assignment proving legal ownership I have submitted disputes with ******* and a formal complaint with the ****. I am actively applying for housing, and this unverifiable and inaccurately reported account is causing material harm to my creditworthiness.I respectfully request that Trident Asset Management remove this account from all credit bureaus immediately in accordance with federal consumer protection laws.

      Complaint: 23166241

I am rejecting this response because Trident has failed to provide full and proper validation of the alleged debt as required under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) 809 (15 U.S.C. 1692g). A vague claim that a letter was mailed in 2019 does not meet the legal standard for debt validation.

Trident has not provided the following legally required documentation:
A copy of the original signed agreement
A complete itemized accounting of the alleged debt from the original creditor
A legally sufficient chain of assignment showing the debt was lawfully transferred to Trident for collection and reporting purposes

I have never received this documentation by mail or otherwise. This account remains disputed with the credit reporting agencies, and under **** 1681i, any item that cannot be verified must be removed.

Additionally, this account is scheduled to be excluded from my credit reports in May 2025 under FCRA 605(a) due to its age. Tridents continued reporting of this unvalidated and obsolete debt is harmful and unjustified.

I am requesting that Trident immediately delete this account from all credit reporting agencies and provide written confirmation. If not, I will escalate this matter to the ************************************ and the *******************************

      Complaint: 23166241

I am rejecting this response because:

I am rejecting this response because Trident has not provided any legally sufficient debt validation under FDCPA 809 (15 U.S.C. 1692g). Their claim that they mailed documentation on 4/9/2025 is not acceptable when no proof of the debt has ever been received.
      I requested:
A copy of the original signed agreement
A complete itemized accounting of the alleged balance
A legal chain of assignment from the original creditor

To date, none of these documents have been provided. Additionally, the credit reporting contains inaccurate and misleading information, including monthly payments that were never made and conflicting dates of last activity.

The debt is scheduled to fall off my credit reports in May 2025 under FCRA 605(a), and continued reporting is harmful and appears to be an attempt to re-age the account.
This matter has been escalated to the ************************************ (****), and I am requesting permanent deletion of the account from all credit bureaus. Trident has had multiple opportunities to resolve this but has failed to meet basic legal standards.

      Sincerely,
