      Re Delta reference number ************** , the letter dated 5/2/23 notes that x-rays were not provided. They were provided twice. The first time at the time of original preauthorization and the second time with the dentist's letter when the preauthorization was not approved. It's ridiculous that Delta takes close to a month to review pre-approvals and then responds re missing documentation when it was already provided. All this appears to deter me from using benefits that I pay for.I would like to speak with an executive who can resolve this and move forward with the approved benefits.

      Tried cancelling my policy as I found out they refuse to cover things that were promised during the interview of signup in 2021. Went to the dentist and spoken to many professionals whom 100% of, all ensured that they accept my dental insurance. DeltaDental refused, or took them off the providers list without the dentist's acknowlegement it sounds like. But as I am technically not covered under any service but need to pay monthly, I simply want to cancel. DeltaDental claims it takes 5 days for a response, but I've waited over double of that with nothing. Submitted 5 tickets all without any type of response ever. Tracking numbers and dates for Policy Cancellation (DeltaDental claims it takes 5 business days at the most) are listed below. I have no idea if DeltaDental even acknowledges my Help Tickets or not, which is why a BBB report is to be made.:4/14 EP202304140263 4/26 EP202304260096 EP202304260091 4/28 EP202304280065 EP202304280048 NOTE:Account has been open since 2021. Never been covered for a single ***** of coverage and I get billed ahead of the service. I've never had any contact with a real human, and no responses to all of my Help Tickets. A quick search online details that 100% of the other customers experience the same issues of: Not actually being covered, cannot speak to humans, cannot cancel their policy, billed in advance, etc. I have no idea if DeltaDental even acknowledges my Help Tickets or not, which is why a BBB report is to be made.Group Number:************* Start Date: October 1st, 2021

      I called delta dental on April 20 2023 n filed a grievance against ******************************. I spoke to a customer advocate ***********************. I received a letter on April 18, telling me that I asked for no input from delta dental to resolve the matter. That's not true. They're suppose to look into it and get back to me within 30 days. I tried talking to the insurance company today but they were of no help. I cursed them out and got no satisfaction. All they tell me is there is no record of me calling n filing the recent grievance.

      I have been a customer with ******************** for the last two years and found that my Dentist is no longer accepting their coverage. I sent in multiple requests to terminate coverage over a months time. I never received a response. After calling I was told my coverage could be terminated three months from now when my policy is up for renewal but not sooner. They still have not sent me proof of termination in coverage and continue to charge me their premiums even though I can no longer use this insurance. I would like my coverage to be canceled immediately and for them to stop charging me. Their customer service is some of the worst I have seen and would like someone from their corporate office to contact me to resolve this issue.

      Delta Dental wants me to pay a month in advance. Their own online billing statement gives me the option of paying MONTHLY. I am disabled and on a fixed income. I should not have to pay a month ahead of time. They cancelled my dental insurance but still took payments after the cancellation date. I have called a dozen times and no one can help. Every time I call I have to explain the problem again to a different person!! Their own manager stated this makes no sense to me (the billing statement). They have a grievance **** that sends you letters but when you call to talk to the person on the letter the customer service rep says you cant. They are a different department How can you send a letter telling me to call with any questions but then tell me that person is not available? Their own people (at least 8-9) all say they dont understand my billing statement. They say a supervisor will call me. Guess how many times a supervisor called me? 0!!! How can you cancel my insurance when in good faith I have called multiple times to rectify the situation? All I asked for was a clarification on billing but no one can explain it. All they say is the grievance **** (who you never can reach the person who sent you the letter) closed the case and you can call the insurance department of Pennsylvania. I also have a letter from them stating they are sorry for my disappointment and they will look for additional employee coaching!! You have a record of all of my calls to you. You should see that I am trying to rectify the situation. You do nothing to help but cancel my insurance!! Delta Dental is a ripoff!! They only try to take your money and cover hardly anything!! They are so quick to cancel your insurance instead of trying to fix the situation.

      I am rejecting this response because:  A form letter from Delta Dental, suprise, suprise! Delta Dental cancelled my insurance because i called to get clarification on payment frequency since they wanted to be paid a month in advance! I am sure the Insurance **** of Pa will be just as helpful as delta dental. Delta dental steals from customers by billing in advance for services not even given. Don't even think of calling them with a question. I spoke to 10 different people that all said the same thing, "We have no idea what is going on with this bill, it makes no sense. They then unjustly cancel your insurance and refer you to the Insurance **** of Pa so that they will not have to pay an open claim.

      I was told multiple times that a service for my son was covered by Delta Dental when calling. My sons dentist submitted the claim, Delta rejected it. I called Delta to ask why and was told that it is an eligible service.

      Hello,Delta Dental Insurance Company refused paying my dental treatment because they claimed I can see the *** rule (regarding dual insurance coverage) within my account under : Other Provisions. However that is not true and I cannot find that under Other Provisions of the policy detail or anywhere. When I called Dental Dental customer service number, their IT department also confirmed somehow that info is only available in their internal system and not shown at customer sides webpage. My dentist office said they cannot find this *** rule at their side either when checking my insurance detail. It is like Delta Dental Insurance Company can add any rule that is not in our policy agreement to deny paying what should be paid. Attached are 1) the deny letter, which lists the reasons they deny the complaint, and 2) the policy detail of my account, which doesnt show the *** rule. Currently Delta Dental only pays $48 to my dentist office, and they should pay the remaining $801.5. Could you kindly help on my case? Thank you.Peace and Happiness Ping-*** ****

      I am rejecting this response because: Delta Dental Insurance Company still doesnt fix the mistake from their side. They denied my claim basing on a rule that not accessible to customer via any document. There is no document shows COB rule (dual insurance coverage) from customers document. Even for now, the rule is still not available to customers website, and only available to Dental Dentals internal system. Dental Dental cannot deny a claim by a rule that isnt disclosed to customer at the beginning.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I purchased your insurance, and the detail information should be provided from you (the insurance company). The detail info I can get from your companys official document doesnt show the *** limitation, and Delta Dental still doesnt want to apologize and fix this mistake of their system. Again, the *** rule is somehow only shown in Dental Dentals internal system under other provisions, but not shown under customer websites other provisions. This system error is confirmed by Delta Dentals IT department. Delta Dental should face this error, and understand this caused problem to its customer. Please help to update your customer website, send me full plan detail document that includes the *** limitation info and all other insurance detail via mail (I have the right to get detail document of what I purchased from you), and make the remaining payment to my dentist office. Thank you

      I went to go see a dentist outside of my Netwerk because the provider who I thought was not able to do an adequate job. I asked Delta dental to review the case, they said they would get back to me in a few weeks. I never heard from them. Finally I resolved to just accept the amount they were originally willing to pay (92 dollars). I stayed on the phone for an hour asking for the $92 that they said they were willing to pay, after being transferred to about 14 different people, I finally reached one competent person, he said he would send me the $92, we went over my address about three times, he said I would receive it in three weeks maximum. It has been nearly a month and a half. I dont think they want to pay the money. Once again, this is money they were willing to pay me upfront, no questions asked. On my second phone call I excepted that money in full, did not want another *****, just wanted what they promised. I have received nothing.

      The letter offers no apology, no solution. They have my name and address and could look the information up themselves. I spent 1 hour on the phone with promises at the end that I would receive the check in two weeks. They chose not to send it. 
      I do not have that number handy. They have it, and because they failed to send the check, really for six months, but especially after I jumped through their hoops and called them, being transferred to 19 incompetent people to even get that far, and now its come to me making a Better Business Bureau complaint and they cant do the extra work to get my ID number? Theyre going to send a trite email like that? Cool, Ill go to the federal trade commission. They have my personal email, my phone number, and my address based on the complaint alone. I am not sitting through another 19 conversations, and another hour of my life trying to get the $90 back. Ill write it off and go another route. 
      delts dental is incompetent and shady. If they cared at all I wouldve received that check weeks ago, as promised.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I do not have that number, when I called and was routed to about 20 people they didnt have my number either, but finally found me and promised to send the amount $94 in full to my address. The address was repeated three times. There is absolutely no reason why that check shouldnt be here. I dont think Its fair nor competent nor efficient for a complaint to come in and have that person bounce between 20 people in an hour and a half of my life wasted. What? Now Im supposed to spend another three hours finding out what that number is. They have my number and I have my address based on the information provided the BBB. Im done playing their games. Either its here in a reasonable amount of time, and they do their own work to figure out who I am, which is not hard given all the information provided to the BBB, or I file a complaint at the most high-level, and forward them to the federal trade commission. Did they intentionally hire incompetent people so that the color would exhaust all their energy on constant stupidity and just say never mind I dont care about the money anymore? You have my phone number, delta dental. You can either do the legwork yourself, being that it was you who dropped the ball, or you can let me handle it on my end. 
      its dirty game and Im done playing. You have no intention of ever sending that money. There were no mistakes, no misunderstandings, after an hour and a half we had solid information that that check was going to be here. I will not call again. I did what I was supposed to do fair and square, it was you who did not live up to your end of the bargain. 
      You have my number, it is completely 100% up to you with what you do with it. If you want to pretend that your hands are tied and theres nothing you can do without the number on hand. well then theres something I will do. I will bring the letter to a court of law. and I will make sure that Delta dental pays the legal fees.
