I had someone named ****** in a small red car at my door saying he was a senior benefits coordinator. I told him that l had not requested any assistance from anything. He put some type of paper in front of camera saying I did. I asked him to leave and he said well stop filling out forms and wasting his time because it took him 30 minutes to get here. I told him again, that I didn't ask for him to come there and for him to leave my property. He continued to stand there and being confrontational at the camera. I again asked him to leave or I was calling 911 he said why when I requested him to come.I told him that I was calling and he continued to walk a little towards the car and stop and argue. I did call the ****************** and file a complaint. Therefore, they are aware of him. And I told them that I would post it to the Ring Neighborhood. The Sheriff said good so that they have a picture of him and his car and would patrol the area if needed. I told them could you imagine if he was inside and had that type of attitude if I choose not to buy what he was selling!I even told him that I wasn't home. He yelled oh yeah I can hear your voice inside so I know you are home. I'm like there's a whole Ring Chime that the conversation is coming through inside.That was very uncomfortable. On 6/23/25 a man appeared at my home unannounced citing he was from the senior benefits support center. He was not specific from which company he worked but had a photo id and credentials with **** ****** and state of ohio symbol on the id badge, so me being a disabled 51 year old who just recently started receiving ********, mistakenly assumed he was from ******** coming to speak with me about my prescription drug plan benefits, as well as my ******** advantage benefits. Once the man called my life insurance company and attempted to get information about my policy and the agent at my life insurance company told him she couldn't give him information and advised me to call about my policy from my own phone and on my own time without the man present, red flags went up and I ended the session with the man after I got a call saying my nephew died earlier. I then called ******** and my Advantage plan representative and both parties informed me that the man was not sent by either of them and that ******** never sends anyone out to the home. I also called Odjfs and was told the same. Today, 6/25/25 he returned and left a business card with my teenage stepson for me to contact him when I returned home from my appointment. I looked this man up online, along with the company on his card and found that the company is an insurance company that solicits seniors through mail advertisements in the form of checks and once you cash the check you are agreeing to be contacted to be informed about life insurance policies. Unfortunately about a year ago I did receive a check and deposited it into my bank. It makes sense now why this man was very pushy and adamant about getting my life insurance policy information, even after he witnessed me get a phone call informing me that my nephew had unexpectedly passed in the wee hours of the night. He had no remorse and only cared about getting me a life insurance policy which I do not need because I already have one elsewhere. What a scam!!Business Response

I received a check from North American Senior benefits LLC ****** *******. I would like for any information concerning my name and address to be taken out of the system and no longer be contacted. I don't know what this company is I have not talked to anyone from this company and will never talk to anyone from this company or give my information out. On June 19, 2025, a representative from your company( North American Senior Benefits) visited my 71-year-old mothers residence, claiming she was owed dividends from an insurance company. This visit was completely unsolicited by her or me.During the visit, he had her sign a document, stating it was necessary to request the supposed dividends. Upon learning of this, I contacted the representative using the information he left. After several attempts, he eventually returned my call.The conversation quickly took a negative turn. He questioned me about power of attorney, what I knew about insurance, and my mothers policies. He insisted she was of sound mind and capable of making her own decisions. His tone was arrogant and condescending throughout.I also contacted your customer support line and have yet to receive a return call. During our conversation, I clearly instructed the representative not to contact my mother againby phone or in person. He dismissively responded that he hadnt called her, further showing a lack of professionalism. Frustrated, I ended the call after a heated exchange.Neither my mother nor I are familiar with your company. She mentioned a completely different insurance provider than the one he claimed to represent, which leads me to believe she was confused and did not fully understand the situation. I question whether she had the capacity to give informed consent.Even if the offer was legitimate, I doubt anything being proposed was truly free. It is highly inappropriate and unethical for companies to approach elderly individuals at home without prior contact or *************** mother informed him he should speak with me, yet he continued to engage her and had her sign something anyway. My original and only request was to obtain a copy of the document she signed.I expect a prompt response and a copy of the document. Please consider this a formal request and a serious concern regarding your companys practices.Business Response

If you are looking for a policy she signed with the agent I will need to look up which carrier she had signed with. We are a brokerage and our agents are licensed so it was definitely a legitimate offer from the company but we do represent several different carriers to meet the needs of our clients rather than one specific insurance company. I was solicited without consent. I wish for this company to remove my information permanently from their systems and to cease all solicitation and contact with me and my family and address, aside from confirming compliance to my request and providing me the source from which they acquired my information.
