    I have been trying to contact this business for 3days and know one has responded back I have called several numbers and emails as well

    12/12/21 first phone conversation w Alliance. 1/13/23 signed w this company to help with our tax situation. We paid $11,500 in 6 payments. 6/28/22 case in review, still. 11/17/22 sent gov form that I filled out with additional docs & returned 1/14/23. 5/10/23 I received an email asking for those exact docs again. Resent. 5/26/23 a "CPA" assigned to my case. After several months of back and forth with that person, I was told I basically have no case for resolution although during my 12/21/21 phone meeting was assured we did have a case and Alliance could help create a plan and stop the letters. Since 9/13/23 I have sent at least 5 email, spoke with ******* on 10/23 who said she would have ********* call me personally. Never happened. I have called 4 different phone numbers for this company for each to just ring. I most certainly want tax help, but have zero confidence in this company and just want my money back.

    Used this company to help navigate and resolve an unfortunate tax situation. Sales rep promised that they could get the *** to stop the *** letters, remove all interest and penalties and basically take me across the finish line with satisfying my *** account. They did stop the letters but basically only set me up on a payment plan(of which I couldve done myself). Im still in just as much trouble with the *** as before with what I owe. I owed 49k in taxes when I started this process and now after paying **** plus dollars for their services Im still sitting at owing close to 49 k because of interest and penalties. They didnt help stop interest and penalties at all. Zero. Do not use them. Plus the put me with a guy named ************************* which was very unresponsive and kept losing my emails. Im completely disgusted by this company and their claims to ************* problems. Now Im left figuring it out myself.

    Alliance Tax Solutions (***) corporate policies prevents us from disclosing client information regarding our clients and their tax situation, however under these circumstances we will provide some information in this public space.  For clarification purposes, I will note several lines from your signed contract dated 04/09/2020.

    Section 3, paragraph 6, Client Duties  By signing this agreement, client agrees and acknowledges that Alliance Tax Solutions has advised the client of the client obligation to fully and accurately disclose the nature and extent of the client financial situation, including, but not limited to assets, liabilities, income and expenses.  Failure to accurately and fully disclose that information, or by overstating or understating any financial information may ultimately invalidate any agreement entered into with any taxing authority and jeopardize the ability of Alliance Tas Solutions to negotiate a resolution with the tax authority.

    Section 4, Alliance Tax Solution Fee  Notice and acknowledgement of payment for services: by signing this billing authorization form I hereby acknowledge that I have agreed to retain this service for the above stated fee to represent me before the *** and or state taxing authorities.  I also waive any right to any type of chargeback on my credit card from ********************************** or Discover and I further acknowledge that NO warranties or promises have been made to me as to any ultimate outcome or time limit with regards to my tax liability.

    Section 5, Cancellation and refund policy; Line 5  The client will not receive a refund should the client fail to perform under this agreement or breach any portion of this agreement.

    Paid in full firm - Although Alliance Tax Solutions will offer our clients payment arrangements to fulfill their fee commitments to ***, *** is a paid in full firm and (in the case of extended payment plans) work is completed in accordance client payments.


    Case Particulars:
    **************** engaged the Alliance Tax Solutions 04/10/2020 for multiple services (not just resolution of his debt) as outlined below and *** agreed to an extended payment schedule 04/10/2020 - 04/24/2021, for those services.  As noted above, *** is a paid in full firm and work is completed in accordance with client payments.

    (a) *** Investigation - to obtain master file information from the ***, determine what the client's current compliance, outstanding debt and collection status is with the *** - evaluate the situation and assess next steps.  
    - The initial investigation was completed shortly after ******************** engagement with *** and multiple updates to the investigation were done over the course of working to resolve his case, thereby ensuring that *** remained current and informed of the case and collection status with the ***.
    (b) Preparation of his 2019 Tax Returns - 
    - Completed and electronically filed 03/16/2021.  **************** was not able to provide all of the necessary income documentation for preparation of 2019 returns so additional transcripts were pulled from the *** for the missing W2 information.
    (c) Resolution - Federal Tax Debt - 
    - **************** provided a copy of his 2020 tax return May, 2021 (filed by another company), demonstrating *** compliance and enabling the work to move forward to resolution completion. 
    - Upon completion of the financial analysis based on the information provided by ****************, the *** program he qualified for was an Installment Agreement with the ***.  *** was able to place him in a properly structured, tiered installment agreement for the outstanding *** debt from 2018,2019 and 2020 (completed 06/21).  
    - Additionally, *** was successful in having $4,778 in penalties abated from Mr.******* ************************************** completed all services engaged for and provided the **************** with the best possible solution at the conclusion of our services; he was in a properly constructed payment arrangement with the *** which if **************** remains compliant with, will prevent further collections activity from the *** (liens, levies, garnishments, etc).  We are sorry that **************** is not satisfied with the outcome of his resolution and his interactions with ********************, who is a highly qualified and valued member of our firm, but as noted above in the excerpt from the *** Client Engagement Agreement, *** does not make any promises as to the outcome the clients tax liability as it is dependent on what programs the client financially qualifies for and what offer the *** accepts.   It is important to note that *** was not engaged to file 2021 tax returns or address any tax debt which may have been incurred by **************** after tax year 2020.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    The above is the notes that are recorded into their system that basically covers their interest. The whole experience was draining with them especially with *************************. **** was slow, hard to understand and forgetful. I sent the email for the income. Heres where I messed up. I trusted Alliance Tax solutions to take full responsibility of taking me across the finish line with the tax situation. You can cover tracks all you want. The experience was a complete train wreck. Not at all what they advertise. But yeah. Blame the client. Thatll get you places. Ill never recommend this company to anyone.

    This response is completely false. 

    1.  Our sales representatives don't promise to stop the letters given the *** continues to communicate with the client but in fact, we receive the letters on behalf of each client via our power of attorney and specifically advise each client in the engagement agreement to not contact the *** even when the letters continue to come because we are representing them. 

    2.  The *** allows penalty abatements but never removes interest which is exactly what we let each client know up front.  The fact is as noted in the previous response, ATS was able to have $4778 in penalties abated. 

    3.  ATS is a paid in full firm which means according to the contract, we work as we are paid.  **************** was charged $3,635 which he took over a year to pay including 7 declined charges.  $500 was charged for his investigation which we actually completed several (each additional at no charge)  $550 was charged to complete his 2019 tax return which was done.  $2550 was charged for his resolution fee based on the fact that at the time of his interview, he claimed he owed $15,000 which we learned was completely false following the investigation but we didn't raise that fee. 

    This is a simple case of unrealistic expectations and because we were not able to make his outstanding debt disappear, he is unhappy.  

    We wish **************** best of luck and believe he is in a great position based on the properly structured payment plan we were able to get approved by the  *** on his behalf.

    I am rejecting this response because: I feel it was a terrible experience. Ive never seen a company blatantly put blame back on a client. I dont feel they care about their reputation but rather their need to feel right. No one has reached out to me. Also throwing jabs about how long the payment plan was? You offered that to me! I took it. I will not ever use this company or will I ever recommend. Total rip-off.

    I called Alliance in February 2022 after hearing Deaphalis on the radio. I spoke with ******* for my initial consult and he assured me I had a very good chance of getting our tax debt reduced.******* would call with a monthly update saying basically my account was being reviewed. It wasn't until 7/12/22 that *****, the tax attorney made initial contact. A month later on 9/15/22 she called with her initial assessment, she could only setup a payment arrangement for me. We didn't meet criteria for anything else. It was Thanksgiving time by the time the 433D was submitted. $4300 to setup a pament arrangement and maybe get me a penalty abaitment of $1,600. Subsequently, I just don't think the service was worth that. I feel like I was mislead and strung along for 11 months for nothing.Bad and misleading business practices. I was misquoted on my original price. My case was severely delayed in being worked. Only to find out they couldn't do anything except set up a payment arrangement and apply for a penalty abaitment. I could've setup my own payment arrangement. We won't even know if the abaitment is approved or declined for another few months.I even spoke to one of the co-owners. **** on 11/10/22. He said he would look into it. He asked for an update on my case from the lawyer who was handling it and I never heard back from him personally. I feel that we deserve a partial refund because the money we paid them we could've just been paying the **** We still have one final payment scheduled for them for January 2023. I also had to contact the company waybtoo many times to get a resolution. I did a lot of work myself on follow-up alone.I think better screening should be done before giving false hope to clients. There should be different rates based on actual results and work for each case. If ******* was honest, I could've declined their services on the initial call.

    While it is in our best interest to assure a favorable out come for our clients, we have done exactly what *********************** engaged us to do. Upon hiring us for our services she did not have anything set up with the **** We then followed our procedure with regards to making sure we gathered the proper documentation in order to see what program the *** would offer her. See section D below. Also, she stated that the representative expressed she had a very good chance of getting the taxes reduced.  All programs the *** offers for relief has to go through a qualification process. We don't feel at this time a partial refund is due because we can substantiate our position with the work that's been done however we're open to any conversation with written documentation from her to warrant the claims that are being made. Attached is the sign agreement between us and ******************
