This place popped up on my credit report 12/14/24 and claimed that it is for an apartment complex in a city I have never lived in for the year of 2018. When I asked for documentation verifying these claims, ***** ***** states there are no documents on the file to verify. That I just need to start an identity fraud claim and that's the only thing she could recommend. When I called her again today, 1/3/25, she states that there are documents but that She just didn't have them. I called the apartment complex directly and they also have no documentation of me ever living there. They have been trying to reach ***** as well to get all of this cleared up. I have disputed this with Experian. I have also hired a lawyer. This is unacceptable.

I NEVER received a phone call nor a letter stating I owed my old Apartment complex a dollar! They just placed a collections account on my credit report now stopping me from being able to move. They havent returned my call. I have never had a collection agency just put an account on my credit without even reaching out to my first. I am suing this company!

Terrible company. I co-signed for an apartment for my daughter. She fulfilled her lease and paid her rent. Months later after moving out, there is a collection of debt on our credit report. We never received any notice or bill from this company. We have no idea what the charges are for and they are unable to provide a summary of charges. They are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and need to be investigated or shut own.

Got a letter saying I old $1375. From ***************; and I HAVE 30 days to agree or dispute. I dispute and ask for a DETAIL CHARGE. It took 2 months to see what the charges was about, With in a week they already reported me to *********** and other credit agency. Rent recovery accepted my $500. Settlement and still having me old $880.Nothing good to say about this company or the apartment manager where I live for FIVE years!

I dont owe any rent. They are trying to collect for a broken gate that happened in 2019 from movers. The gate was fixed and broken 3 different times from other tenants living in the property so why are they asking me to pay for full price of a new gate???

I received a bill from Rent Recovery Solutions, LLC owed to some landlord in *****. I've never lived in *****. Rent Recovery Solutions would not give me any information. I ended up contacting this landlord, and they acknowledged that I was not the person responsible for the debt. They were even kind enough to send me documentation. I initially thought this might have been identity theft, but it turns out that Rent Recovery Solutions, LLC just had the wrong person, and it was very obvious. This person spelled their name differently than mine, had a different date of birth, and a different middle name. None of the other information matched up. It was quite obviously NOT ME. This company is going around billing people when they KNOW they aren't responsible for the debt. This is highly unethical.

I tried to rent an apartment after living in a house for 15 years. To my surprise someone had use my information and rented an apartment at The Elements Apartments in *********, **. I'm not sure how this can happen when I tried to rent one and they asked for everything I was born with. I called the number on line for them. I let them know someone stole my identify and I need this removed off my rental history because this was all I had. I was transferred to the person that was over the account at **********************. I was told to to do an identify theft with the ************************* after that you have to file a police report in the city you live in, which I did online. It took 2 days for ****** Police to approve and I received my police report. I also had to send a copy of my driver license with it notarized to prove its me and match signatures. You also have to send a copy of the credit/rental history to show them on your account. and a cover letter with the account number they give you. You have to send it to Rent Recovery Solutions **** *************** STE 120 *******, ** *****. You should also go on Experian and dispute it. it lets the other Two know also. It ***** how much you have to go through to prove its not you. Once submitted it took them 2 weeks and it was deleted off my credit. It was a grueling process but worth it. 1. Report to ************************* Identity Theft Report 2. Submitted Police Report and request a copy or print when they send to you 3. Copy of your driver license signed and notarize on the copy 4. Cover Letter with account number and brief description on what's going on 5. A copy of the credit report or rental history where you have them on there 6. ***************** mail to Rent Recovery Solutions **** The Exchange **************************************Pray that it gets done fast! I hope this can help someone else on everything that is needed.
