    I tried to rent an apartment after living in a house for 15 years. To my surprise someone had use my information and rented an apartment at The Elements Apartments in *********, **. I'm not sure how this can happen when I tried to rent one and they asked for everything I was born with. I called the number on line for them. I let them know someone stole my identify and I need this removed off my rental history because this was all I had. I was transferred to the person that was over the account at **********************. I was told to to do an identify theft with the ************************* after that you have to file a police report in the city you live in, which I did online. It took 2 days for ****** Police to approve and I received my police report. I also had to send a copy of my driver license with it notarized to prove its me and match signatures. You also have to send a copy of the credit/rental history to show them on your account. and a cover letter with the account number they give you. You have to send it to Rent Recovery Solutions **** *************** STE 120 *******, ** *****. You should also go on Experian and dispute it. it lets the other Two know also. It ***** how much you have to go through to prove its not you. Once submitted it took them 2 weeks and it was deleted off my credit. It was a grueling process but worth it. 1. Report to ************************* Identity Theft Report 2. Submitted Police Report and request a copy or print when they send to you 3. Copy of your driver license signed and notarize on the copy 4. Cover Letter with account number and brief description on what's going on 5. A copy of the credit report or rental history where you have them on there 6. ***************** mail to Rent Recovery Solutions **** The Exchange **************************************Pray that it gets done fast! I hope this can help someone else on everything that is needed.

    I have tried settling a debt and figuring out why almost 4 years later in being told I owe money from a rental contract that was month to month. The manager informed me no debt was owed when I handed over the keys and did a final walk through. Dodging my calls and can't provide original proof of debt. This is all shady but I'm told I have until the 6th of March to pay.

    No. No. No Im not really sure why, after paying the debt owed they slapped me with 40 points on my credit report??? Why??!!! Not even a day after the payment was made I recieved an alert to my report. It was rent recovery solutions. Even a hard hit is only 25 points... Ive spoken with an attorney in regards to this company.

    Let me just say it feels good to have you guys pay for my attorney fees for wasting my time not only did u not collect on **** dollars worth of fake debt I told you wasnt mine but you had to pay me I hope you and ghetto kadejah have a great time paying back that over 5k in attorney fees your ignorance and lack of listening skills put you in this situation next time check the landlord and validate the debt like you should

    This company pop up on my credit report I have never rented in **. EVER I always owned. I submitted a fraud, This is so fraud and it effected my score. I never rented I have called for someone to call me back and received no reply at all. I am not a landlord but I never rented EVER

    I have tried to contact this collection company for help, spoke with an employee who told me they would email me a statement of what I owe to a company. When my mom called to get information about our case, they told her they would not be investigating the case like they had previously told me. I have been getting the run around from the debt collection company as well as the company I supposedly owed money to. This has been going on since ************************************************ **** from either of them. I am frustrated because its been sitting on my credit report since 2019 and I have no way to get it removed.
