When opening this account with ****** security I've had issues from the very start. The bill started off at $55.74 . Then they kept saying I had late fees when my account was set up on auto pay. Well, I kept paying out of my account and now I'm going back and seeing they are not changing it back to the original amount for over 7 months. I've only had this account since august 2024. It shows my account on auto pay. The representative always gives me excuses or hangs up on me. I can afford to keep paying an extra fee a month for their system issue. They have my card set up on auto pay but then don't pull the money out till a few days' later. It shows it on my back accounts. I've even called VIvant and the told me they are always having issues with ******* and their customers. I spoke with someone today and they said it will be fixed on my next bill but I wont get a credit. They are claiming im late on the past 3 months but its impossible with the auto pay set up. Please help me fix this. They keep giving me the run around.Business Response

I was given an account through ******* to pay off a security system from ******. I have since payed that off in 2023. Since then ******* gave a line of credit to my account WITHOUT my knowledge or acceptance. This credit card was never activated. I never once used any money from them or the line of credit. in ************************************** the form of a $40 annual fee. I called them on or about April ****************************************************************** wanted anything to do with it. They closed the account on or about *********. The next month i get another notification to pay the fee and it has risen to $72. I call my ********* and have them reject all or any transactions to ******* moving forward. June 2025 i am alerted from **************** that my credit score has suffered a drop and it was ******* showing that closed account is overdue and they want $102. This Company forced a credit card on a lein account that i never wanted or used and have affected my credit due to it. I have called and never am able to resolve the issue. The employees hang up the phone before i can get any resolution.Business Response

******* in its initial offer for a credit card, which I accepted, in part due to the promise of quarterly reviews for credit line increases, which they lied and never really do. Then they sent not one but two offers via email which they refused to honor; excuses were sent by mistake and/or they cannot locate that. ******* needs to honor offers and promises or do not make them in the first place.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:the original offer was in addition to using Fortiva for our Vivint home security system. I am aware Vivint was bought but another company. It said 1,000.00 limit, if below that periodic/regular/quarterly reviews will be done until you reach the 1,000.00.
they did zero reviews until I complained the first time. I maintain they are shady at best and dishonest at worst.
hard to imagine why they stonewall and play games.

the nature of this dispute is that each month Aspire **** made a call to me and wanted to make a agreement that if I made a auto pay for the first of each month, they would wavier the late charge of *****. i now that they lied and did not wavier these charges. these charges amount of ****** for the total of one years of lies. I have been paying on my bill and it seems that there is nothing going towards the principal of the purchase but towards the interest. It seems that when I make a payment, it is not going towards the principal of my account. I want them to put my payments towards the principal of my account not towards the interest.Business Response

The company was going out of business and sent letter that my account would be inactive as of a certain date. I called the number on my statement so that I could get an exact date to pay off the 24 month deferred balance. I wanted to make sure if expired on or before the actual due date of my statement. I was told there was no date that it needed to be paid off to avoid the deferred interest charge due to the company closing! I told them that was wierd and didnt sound correct and they assured that it was so to my unfortunate trust I believed them and then continued paying on my balance with no worries of a date. I have received a statement now that states I owe $1400 of deferred interest due to not being paid by a date. There is no date on my statement but also says page 3 of 4 and can clearly see there is nothing printed on the rest of the page 3 or 4. I called and they say there is nothing they can do. This is very suspicious and concerning that I was led with false information and refuse to even transfer my call to someone who can help. I want to report them for misleading and in a way me into believing the account was good but now I have to pay this interest!!Business Response

May 2025 ****** stated that there was a late payment which posted on the 5th. I ask Fortiva if there was a glitch in their system because my track record shows on time payments. ***, ******* employee stated that he will waive the payment but the late payment will be taken off the balance due instead of thr monthly payment. I didn't agree with this. Plus they said that I applied for a credit card with them and the previous account balance was transferred to a credit card. I have not activated a credit card with *******. The payment went from $27.04 to $50.00 are more. I would like for my credit to be restored and my payments corrected.Business Response
