      On May 22, 2022 I signed up with Fortiva and Ideal Image for a credit line of $2,000 unfortunately on May 24, 2022 Ideal Image called to cancel my first appointment due to their machines breaking and I no longer felt safe so I cancelled the entire thing and requested a full refund since services were never rendered and it was within 3 days. I also contacted Fortiva to explain the situation I closed the Fortiva account and locked it as well, they told me I shouldnt be responsible for the debt since I never received any services but needed to contact the merchant to receive my refund they offered no other way of disputing the charge through them. On May 26, 2022 I received an transaction email from Fortiva showing my full refund of $2,000 was credited to my account. I called Fortiva to verify they said it will take 7 business days to reflect on the balance.On the Fortiva terms I saw they require for disputes to be mailed in so in an over abundance of caution on May 27, 2022 I certified mailed my dispute to their dispute address *********************************************** it was scheduled to be delivered May 31st 2022. On May 31st it was ready to be picked up but as of today June 5, *********************************************************** info redelivery return to sender requests.I also received emails today June 5, 2022 from my credit reports saying Fortiva is reporting a new tradeline account is open with them even though I already closed the Fortiva account.I am extremely concerned reading the rest of these complaints and now knowing my written dispute was never picked up and my account is not reported as closed to the credit bureaus, I am now worried that this account is somehow still open and Im also worried about my written dispute never being picked up.I want this account to be fully closed and for it to be reported as closed on the credit reports and for them to pick up my written dispute.
