      I really was trying not to post no stars Fortiva Credit Card. I was happy giving me the chance to paying above minimum and before due date. I called Thursday the rep., told me, I quote " the computer closed your account and your account was straining for the payments to post" inquote.No warning letters or phone calls just closed and still was making payments. I said WOW????THIS DAM CREDIT CARD COMPANY IS HURTING PEOPLE......CRAZY??????????????????????????????

      They distribute funds to companys before you even have any procedures done and when you decide to cancel the line of credit they state there is nothing they can do because the funds were already sent out.

      Hello My grandfather applied for a credit card with Fortiva and was accepted. After trying to set his card up on ****** pay the card was locked by the company. He called in personally and could not make headsor tales what they wanted him to do. As power of attorney of my grandfather he asked that they speak with me. They asked for paperwork proving my status as power of attorney. As well as a 2 week ordeal of verifying information. They said that the card was clear to go after what was enough clearance to enter the Whitehouse. My grandfather and I travel out of town for his doctor ************ and when we tried to get gas it was declined. We contacted the company to which they said the card was now unlocked. Long story short they were not being truthful about the card being unlocked and left us stranded. They were telling me I could now not speak for him and I could not cancel the card. They were picking and choosing what I could or couldn't do out of the power of attorney paperwork. Refusing to tell the truth saying the card was fine to use. After multiple complaints they reverted back to me not being able to speak for him. I explained to them that they could not pick and choose what rules to abide by and what not to. They excepted power of attorney and it entails all of it. Needless to say the only resolution I had was to close our this mans card and get a cash advance from my card to make it home. It left me to wonder what he would have done on his own. I think he would have been stuck with a yearly fee and no way to use his card. After satisfying all the needs of the company they still refused service. Very poor company and should be watched for elder scams.

      Fortuna credit card is one of the worst cc I have ever decided to obtain. Your balance will drop $15 from a whole $70 payment. They are sketchy and couldnt even assist with a 3 month hardship. Im disappointed. Will not recommend..

      Horrible credit card company! Do not do business with this company. During a credit rebuild phase I received an offer for one of these cards, I accepted. I took a hard credit hit to obtain the card. I was initially given a credit limit of $1,000 & told that if I used the card & made six consecutive payments my credit limit would double. I used the card & made six consecutive on time payments & got my credit limit increase. I paid the account off in full on the sixth payment. Three months later with no notice I received an email informing me that my account had been closed for inactivity! The company did not email me any notice telling me the card had to be used prior to them just randomly closing it out. This is a GIMMICK credit card company. If you do not use the card every 90 days so they can charge you interest they will close your account without notice. I would give them a ZERO STAR rating if possible. To sum it **, in a nine month span in an attempt to rebuild my credit I took a hard inquire which hurt my credit score & dropped it 20 points, & it stays on my report for 3 years (thus effecting other lenders lending to me), and then nine months later my score dropped even more due to them closing the account. Please remember when focusing on credit rebuilding a major area taken into consideration is your overall ''available'' credit & the percentage you owe on each of them. Losing this 2k of credit actually made my score drop 18 points in one month!So what was supposed to help me rebuild my credit ended up costing me 38 more credit points in under a year ON AN ACCOUNT I HAD A ZERO BALANACE ON AND WAS NEVER LATE PAYING WHEN I USED IT THE ONE TIME IT WAS USED!!!!!! Do yourselves a favor & do not make the same mistake I did with this company. If you get mail from them toss it in the shredder & move on to a card that is better & more reliable. Get a card that will actually help your credit, not hurt it!Thumbs down, & middle finger up to Aspire Visa!

      Only gave it the one star because they made me rate it as something would have preferred a big fat ZERO. Fortiva is a joke. I have available credit on card but every time I try to use it it is declined. I call and they tell me everything is good and I'm good to use it. Only to have it declined again. They tell me the merchants are questionable. Ummm, Spotify, retail stores, gas stations? I don't think so. Even after I get texted with every transaction asking if I authorized it and I respond yes, they still decline. I will be paying this off and cancelling at the end of the month.

      I have had a card with Fortiva for years. I paid a fee every month of $7.25. I went to use it today and it was declined. I did not use the card for FOUR MONTHS and due to inactivity they closed my account. I guess you can only have this card if you use it every month. I received the email after I tried using it that said it was closed due to inactivity.

      Horrible company. Appliance store offering 12 months, no intertest through Fortiva. I have >780 credit score and over 100k annual salary and I somehow was not offered the 12 mo. no interest promotion. Instead I was offered a low credit limit with interest to start immediately (*****% apr!). **************** was no help at all and insisted that I had to accept the offer to get any further information. Of course, the $79 annual fee is charged as soon as the account is opened so what they are really saying is that you have to pay $79 to get any questions answered. Rude and awful on the phone.
