Fraudulent practice company, we had account with them back 2013 when they were called eonlinedata through authorize.net that was cancelled 2016 as we never used it, they decided it to activate it on their own without any notification or agreement from our end in 2022 just to add fake fraud chagres on it, also we never were notified or received any sort of communication that this account was activated or there is any payment is due and added $800+ fees on it to be recovered that they tried to deduct out one of our banks accounts that was rejected, last july they sent us a letter through their debit collector with $1000+ to be paid We reached out to them to ask for any proof they had nothing but saying the account is closed however there is unrecovered fees all made in 2022, we are talking about an account that was not active since 2016, 6 years later they start making activity on it, this company operates on Fraudulent practice that need to be reported, scaming peoples for money

This company's business practices amount to legalized theft. Their fees are difficult to catch on bank statements, so we've been unknowingly been paying outlandish fees (over $140/ **, including a $25 'inactive fee') for over a year for services we thought we had canceled. STAY AWAY!

Can't believe they charged a $495 cancellation fee. Was not told about this during the cancellation call. Never signed any contract with them. This was for a small non-profit professional group.

Beware of Global Payments PCI non-compliance charges. I have a hair salon using Global Payments merchant services. We have a Global Payments provided merchant terminal in the shop and we have e-commerce with Squarespace integrated with Stripe and PayPal. We do not collect, store or process cardholder data. Beginning in July we noticed that Global Payments had tacked on two PCI non-compliance fees without any notice or communication of any kind. When we attempted to use their PCI Protect EZ service to get PCI compliance certified we were told that we failed with no clear explanation or solution. This is a scam by Global Payments against its customers.

1- Trapped me into switching credit card processing terminals and rates have steadily went up . 2- They are charging me a non compliance fee quarterly over a control scan which no other company I have ever been with does . 3- It takes way to long to get anybody on the phone for a small business . ***************** ***************************** ******** ********

      Dear BBB Customer Relations Advocate,

We recently received this review from our Client, **** *****

“1- Trapped me into switching credit card processing terminals and rates have steadily went up . 2- They are charging me a non compliance fee quarterly over a control scan which no other company I have ever been with does . 3- It takes way to long to get anybody on the phone for a small business . John Tice Tice Chiropractic Center Crossett Arkansas”

We reached out to him and helped him with the following:

Explained that his rates were already previously lowered after working with our care team a couple months back and they haven’t gone up since. This concern was resolved through a quick educational conversation.

Educated him on the necessity of getting PCI compliant, why he fell out of compliance, how to do the scan he needed to get back in compliance and when the scans were needed. This resolved his concerns.

In regards to his third concern, he now has a dedicated representative that he can reach out to at any time to help resolve future concerns.

EVO Payments definitely is trying to fleece small businesses. They make it very difficult to know about fees, and they auto renew your contract then charge an outrageous cancellation fee, currently at $495. They are hurting businesses. Stay away.
