      This company is the ABSOLUTE worst company EVER!! How can it take ***** to resolve a case? You must have one person sitting somewhere trying to resolve the thousands and thousands of cases that you must have!! The person that actually paid money for the card is the real victim for having to wait ***** days for an investigation on the money that was stolen from the card!! I told the customer ********************** representative that I don't know how she works for a company that is as deplorable as Vanilla is. I only wish that I would have read these reviews before purchasing a gift card from your company. I submitted my dispute paperwork 2 months ago and I was told on the phone just today that they just started looking at my case on Aug. 24th!! RIDICULOUS!! This company NEEDS to do better than 90 days to return people's money. Again, I am being treated like the victim by making me wait and wait and wait to even see if I get my money back!! Oh I know, why don't you make it so that the real thieves don't have it so easy to steal other people's money and have nothing happen to them. I'm telling you I better hear something within the next few weeks!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! And I want the record to reflect that I HAD to select a star or I couldn't post this, so my real review is for ZERO stars!!

      I was gifted a Vanilla gift card for my graduation and the card looked normal when I took it out of the packaging. I tried using it and it was declined. I went online to double check the balance and I noticed my card had no CVV number. Upon closer inspection, it looked like it was scratched off. I called the number on the back and there is no option to speak to someone, even when hitting "0" or #. I was disconnected instead. I contacted **** and they directed me to ****** Bank. Why is it so difficult to get the proper customer ********************** for this well know and continuing issue? Obviously I am not the only one with this problem and it seems its been going on for quite some time. Why hasn't **** figured out a way to put a stop to these scammers or at least respond appropriately to customers who have faulty cards? Is it because they are getting their money anyway and it does not affect their bottom line? I have advised my friends and family to NEVER EVER purchase **** gift cards unless they want their money stolen.

      Fraudulent. This company processed two gift cards at $200 each that the recipients cannot use. After calling the company to resolve, they either dropped the calls 3 times in a row or disconnected intentionally. I'm now on hold and was told that the gift cards 'were put on hold' and she doesn't know how to take off of hold. She now wants to create a case to try to resolve and refused to give me my money back. THIS COMPANY STEALS MONEY FROM PEOPLE

      Purchased a $100 Vanilla Gift card on July 1, 2022. The card has only 12 digits instead of the normal 16 digits. When you call the 800 number they even have a "if your card does not have 16 digits press 3". I'm told by the customer ********************** representative that it willI take ***** days for an investigation. Really? is this that complicated that it takes ***** days. I have asked to speak to a manager 2 times and every time they put me on hold for over 30 minutes and they hang up and I don't get to talk to a manager. So, it seems these is your tactic so you get tired of calling.

      If there was a -0 that's what I would give this disguisting scamming company! $1100.00 of my money for 3 cards from Vanilla that someone used before I purchased them! Lack of customer ********************** and No one to resolve any of these Scams they have. It's been over 45 days I faxed and emailed my situation to them, and still no one can tell me what the status of my compliant is. I worked for MC & **** and this is Not a *******************
