Hello Mr. ***************** am sorry Mr. ***** was charged for not returning the modem however when I checked Mr. ****** account we refunded him for the modem fee. Please allow seven business days for this refund to reflect to the card on file. Again, I am sorry Mr. ***** was charged the non-return fee but we have issued him a refund.

The sales department told me one thing and it wound up not being true and costing more money. Called back to talk to someone in regards to my Internet and it only lasted 14 days and I paid for the whole month and its no longer its turned off. I will be returning the modem and they said they cannot refund my money. It was $80 for the modem and 5599 for the monthly service on Internet And Im on disability. Im a senior. I feel that theyre just selling the package and telling you what you want to hear and its not the truth.Earthlink, LLC

Hello Ms. ********************* called Ms. ********* because I wanted to hear from her what was said at the time of the sale. Since Ms. ********* was told the data plan, she was sold would be sufficient for her internet needs; however, the plan only lasted 14 days. I am sorry Ms. ********* was sold an internet plan that was not going to be reliable for her internet needs. I have canceled Ms. ********** internet, as well I refunded her half of the **** and then I advised Ms. ********* that once she returns the modem, we will refund her the initial charge.

This internet provider is nothing but scamming theives. We were told they serviced our area, pd the ***** for the modem and the device was shipped out. Once received and ready for set up (Friday) we we're then told they can not service our area and was charged ****** activation fee the following Monday. Told we would receive a return label via email in which we did with a tracking number I guess they pulled out of their a** bc were unable to track and get an error message. Received email we did not ship back their device in which we did the following Monday we were charged the activation fee, husband and I both called billing to speak with someone to correct this numerous attempts with 30min to 70 min hold times and after 5 attempts we decided to file a claim with the BBBbecause we can't get our money back for a device or service we do not have. Bunch of scamming idiots that tell you they can service your area then take your money give you a fake return label so they can charge you ****** for the modem that don't even service your area. Now ****** later since they overdrafted our bank acct. We sit and wait and see if the BBB can help us.Earthlink, LLC

Hello Ms. **************** am sorry Ms. **** was misled at the time of sale that we offered service in her area, so she sent the modem back to **. Yet, Ms. **** claims that she was not just charged the processing fee, but the first month fee and then it seems that she was charged for the modem not being returned. I would be happy to help with the account but at this time I am not able to locate an account for Ms. ***** so if she could please send an email to *************************************************** and we will be happy to look over the charges and process a refund. Again, I am sorry Ms. **** was misinformed about us being able to provide service when we were not able to and then she was charged because her account became active, then she was charged for the modem.

We have been without Internet for 4 days currently. We called when it went out and completed the troubleshooting to no avail. They said they would have a technician come and fix our lines since they could not ping our service. They only offered tech service on Monday. Our internet had went out on Thursday the week prior. We said that no one would be home before 3:00 p.m. and we left a note on the door asking for the technician to come back if he read that note. No technician, no calls although they said they had called it was not true. We have called three times tonight. The first call they said the technician would be there within 15 minutes. No show. The second call I escalated and then they came up with this cockamamy story about the technician having come by. No one came! The third time we called we were on hold for over an hour and then we're hung up on. Extremely poor customer service!! Still no ********************. Absolutely do not recommend at all!!Earthlink, LLC

Hello Ms. ****************** am sorry Ms. ****** had a technician dispatched and you advised that nobody would be there until after 3:00 PM. There are certain windows that we have available to schedule and if that was not a good day, we advise to reschedule for a time that is best for you. As the technician has multiple customers that they would have to get to, and since Ms. ****** was not home, the only thing that could have been done was reschedule. I did try to locate Ms. ******* account to see if her ******************** issue was resolved or if I needed to reschedule the dispatch, however; I was not able to locate an account for Ms. ******* Again, I am sorry Ms. ******* technical issue was not resolved, plus she had issues getting the technician to come when she was home.

I couldn't Activate my account, because ********************** kept sending messages to my cellphone telling me to check my Email. I NEVER received the email, with my code to Activate. Made many, many calls, but never got the Email problem resolved. I sent their Equipment back **** with Tracking #, then they started sending messages to my cellphone, that the account would activate after a few days. I saw today they had charged me another fee of $96.10. I've contacted my Bank, and will Dispute Charges. I was told, I would have to pay, a OneTime Handling Fee of $79.95. I do apologize for this confusion and since the account was canceled, I have refunded ****** back to the card on file. Please allow five business days for this refund to reflect on the card.

Was $80 for the purchase of the box and after 1 month of service realize it's to expensive. 1 gigabyte per hour. ,that's ridiculous. Account has been canceled now I'm being told to return box or be charged $400 . Am being told now that the $80 was for shipping and handling a 4Lb. box. It's sounds like a scam in several ways. Hello Ms. ********************* am sorry the wireless internet we offer was too expensive, so Ms. ********* had to cancel her service. There is a charge for processing and handling of the modem and in order to avoid being charged $400.00 we ask that the modem is returned. We sent a return label at no cost to the email on file. As a courtesy I have refunded Ms. ********************* back to the card on file, please allow five business days for the refund to reflect to the card on file. Again, I am sorry our wireless data plan cost was more than what Ms. ********** could handle so she canceled her service.

There is zero service in my area despite them having confirmed my address upon sign up. Absolutely zero tech support on weekend. App is useless. Chat is useless. $200 jusy to sign up and activate, and it wont even activate. Nor will anyone help me when I contact them.Earthlink, LLC

Hello Ms. ******************** called Ms. ******** on 11/11/2024 to see if I would be able to resolve the connection issues she has been having. I tried the basic troubleshooting that I can do on my side, and since there was a long hold time I advised Ms. ********* I would reach out to our wireless technical team and have them do other troubleshooting. It does seem a technical service agent did call and tried to do troubleshooting as well. The service in Ms. ********* area is very good so it does seem that there could be an issue with the modem, so we have sent a replacement modem. We did advise Ms. ******** to return the old modem to avoid being charged the non-return fee. If the new modem does not fix the issue, we will be happy to explore other options for Ms. ********* I will be reaching out to Ms. ******** via email so she will be able to reach out to me directly in case the new modem does not work. Again, I am sorry Ms. ******** has been having connection issues, but we are working to resolve this issue.

This company is a scam, I swear. First off, I was told verbatim that my internet was unlimited. I have a family of four that all utilize the internet due to school purposes and etc. We have 100 gb to get us through the month, which isn't enough. Unfortunately, the interned is very limited. I have called numerous times to try to cancel my internet with them and every time I call, they are so busy with calls and never answer. Basically, they are making it impossible for customers to cancel. I am so sick and just want to be done with this business. FYI (we live in a rural area, and we were told that they were the only ones that would service our area). If I could give zero stars, I would !Earthlink, LLC

Hello Ms. ****************** apologize that Ms. ****** was not given the proper information regarding our wireless internet. Although the agent sold her the 100GB and not the unlimited plan both plans are data capped. Unlike the 100GB plan the unlimited plan data is capped at 300GB. Once the data has been capped then the speeds will slow from 3mbs to 1mbs speed. I did call Ms. ****** on 11/5/2024 to see if she wanted to cancel now or if she wanted to wait until the date she had already scheduled with one of our agents, and she advised me she would be waiting for the end of the billing cycle. Again, I do apologize that Ms. ****** was not given actual information about our wireless plans since they are all data capped.

Hello Ms. ***************** am sorry Ms. ****** was not educated properly regarding our billing process. We charge for the modem to be sent, and then we charge the first month bill at the time of activation. I did call Ms. ****** and explained our billing process and then I told her I would call back Thursday to see if she wanted to activate her service or if she wanted to cancel and send the modem back to us. Again, I am sorry Ms. ****** was not given the correct billing expectations at the time of the sale.

Hello Ms. ******************** am sorry there was wrong data put in the system for Ms. ********* account, as well she was charged for services that she had canceled. As for the many transfers I am not sure why this occurred, but I do see that you were sent to the Executive Relations Team, and there we refunded Ms. ******** the charge that she paid for services even though she had canceled her account. Again, I am sorry that Ms. ******** was not pleased with her service as well as her interaction with our customer service agents, however, we did refund her back the money she was charged.
