I have completed a booster for signing up to upgrade rewards checking plus. It shows completed on the app and i have already got debit card activated. I am suppose to get 20 dollars once i am approved. That they will email instructions to claim the booster reward. I never got an email to claim. I have emailed but no response. It say booster reward will expire if unclaimed within 30 days. My bank is linked to your app as for a payment method. They are trying to rip me off and they owe me money period I've done 2 income boosters a Webull one and the Upgrade one and it has been past 3 months since completion which the last excuse they gave me was that even though it normally takes a week it's going to take me 3 months to get my money. On my account it doesnt even show that I have completed the webull one anymore but I have emails from them admitting that I had completed both and have them saved. Their user support is the worst I have ever encountered in my entire life, they don't help, don't respond most of the time and when they do its days if not weeks later. There are many other people saying on ****** reviews that Steady isn't paying them either, they are starting to seem like a scam and they prey on people with financial difficulties have them sign up for things that cost them money with the promise that they will make it back and more so they can cash in on referral bonuses and then just dont bother to pay anyone. It's disgusting ripping off and making money off the backs of those dealing with financial insecurity. My bank account is already connected to my account with them and has been verified so there is literally no excuse why that money that I earned isn't in my account other than malpractice and dysfunction. I'm tired of contacting their support with no response. With misleading tactics and lies they had me spend my own money with the promise that I'd earn more and they have acted fraudulently.Business Response

Months ago I had downloaded the application "Steady" as I had no income and was desperate to make ends meet. They offer "Booster Rewards" that offer you a cash payout based on terms with other apps. For example, I spent a week doing surveys with the agreement that Steady would pay me a certain amount once I'd done enough work on the partnered survey website. Also I've signed up for two investing apps with the agreement that Steady would pay me a certain amount once I've made a deposit on the partnered apps. Its been months and I've emailed them so many times and have yet to receive a response. DO NOT TRUST STEADY. You will waste your time.Business Response

I completed two activities on the steady application in May and June one with upgrade where I should have received a 20 bonus and one with webull that should be a ***** bonus. Exact same issues as the rest of the complaints Ive read on this site. Completed a booster, was told by the fine print in the booster itself and several different emails from Steady customer service (when I could actually get a response from them) that payment would be received within 60 days. Complete the booster and received acknowledgement of this from Steady on November 8th, 2022. It is now December 21st and I have received nothing. The last response I received from steady customer service tried to blame their partner for the booster payment not being fulfilled yet, while the other company claims they are not participating in any such promotion with Steady, so any payment for such would have to come from Steady. The last communication I managed to get from Steady contained outright lies claiming the booster fine print stated payment could take up to 90 days. This is a completely fabricated statement, and I have both screenshots and emails from Steady to prove it. If you cant pay your customers what you owe them, then stop offering cash payments for completing boosters. And stop lying about it.Business Response

I completed an 3 income boosters on the Steady App back in August. There terms say it may take up to 60 days to receive payment for completing an income booster. But that they will try to pay asap. Well I completed 3 boosters at the same time and received notification that I would receive payment within 30 days. I had to to contact steady support which took a week for them to get back to me. I had to prove that I completed all 3 boosters even tho it shows it in the app. Once I finally proved it they sent me a confirmation email that said congratulations for completing the 3 boosters. Then another email saying I would be paid in the next 10 days. I only received payment for 2 of the boosters. I emailed them almost everyday for a month before someone finally responded back to me yesterday. They are telling me I have to wait the full 60 days and contact them again. But the turns say up to 60 days. Then they wanted me to prove it again when I already have a month ago. They said I completed the booster on 09/02/2022 but I completed in August. Either way it is only a few days shy of 60 days as it is. Even tho I should of been paid a month ago. They are telling people to wait the full time frame before they can pay but thats not what their site says. They are doing whatever they can to delay the payment and even ignoring my emails for a whole month. Making the customer prove themselves right and changing dates. A month ago they didn't have record of it which is why I had to prove it was completed, now all of a sudden they know when it was completed? I want what's rightfully owed to me. $45 for completing Webull booster. It's been up to 60 days. I've been ignored on purpose, and jerked around, I deserve my payment now. Their false advertising about the funds and I will seek punitive damages on the company just to prove a point. If they can't pay their customers what they advertise, then shut the company down. The company Steady and ********* claim they are partners. As partners, they offer a Booster to potential customers, with specific criteria to follow in exchange for $75. According to Steady's PREVIOUS fine print, it can take up to 60 days before a payment is received. When contacting steady, they blamed the payment delays on their partner, ****. When contacting Varo, they blamed Steady. While **** will respond to emails, Steady has stopped responding altogether. Recently I looked them up online to see if they have misled/lied to other customers. I found several reviews with customers experiencing the same issues. They advertise their boosters to bait people in, yet they fail to follow through on what they promised when all criteria are met. Steady had a message on their app that said if you didn't receive your payment after 60 days, contact them - yet they do not ************ I see that they updated their "fine print" on their website, which now says to allow up to 90 days, but when I signed up for the promotion the "agreement" was for 60 days. I will upload the booster requirements (with the 90-day revision) from the steady app and include the email from Steady where they stated 60 days, as well as an email from Varo stating 60 days. Additionally, I found complaints on two different websites regarding the same issues. One dating back to June 2021. However, there are other recent complaints from June 2022 and later. Moreover, there are complaints on BBB from other customers stating 60 days as well. Being that this is an ongoing issue, then these companies should be well aware of what they can or cannot pay / what they can or cannot offer. ...And if they are "partners." then both companies should be equally responsible and at the very least be more dedicated to working with each other to make sure they adhere to their written agreement They should not be allowed to continue to bait potential customers with lies, and if this SCAM isn't illegal, then it should be.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. The payment was received AFTER the 60 days, and interestingly enough it was made AFTER I sent them an email with the BBB claim number letting them know that I filed a complaint. As for the response, I only accept it because the matter is now resolved, in which case their PARTNER ****, seemed more apologetic in their response and acknowledge the issue at hand. Steady, on the other hand did nothing more than provide a mechanical, generic response that any robot could have made. They are still trying to hold onto the "60 days" while stating they are having issues and delays, in which case they missed the 60-day deadline. Either their issues and delays are preventing them from meeting the 60 day deadline or they are going to meet the deadline. It cannot be both ways...and since they missed the deadline, they need to admit it, instead of giving a false impression that they did what they were supposed to do according to their written agreement. Actually, what they should have done at the very beginning was to accept their faults instead of blaming their partner for their issues/delays. Personally, if I were Varo, I would end my partnership with Steady. Whatever issues Steady may be having, they make Varo look bad as well, what's more, not only is Steady unprofessional in the way they handled this issue, but they show no accountability for their actions...or rather lack there of. They cannot even provide a simple apology.
