I am filing this complaint against PrizePicks (SidePrize, LLC) because my withdrawal requests via ***** keep being rejected for no valid reason. My account is fully verified, and I have not violated any of their terms of service.Despite this, PrizePicks support repeatedly tells me I need a successful deposit through Venmo or ****** in order to withdraw. This makes no sense because I have followed all of their procedures. I have contacted support multiple times, but Im given inconsistent answers, chats are ended without resolution, and my funds remain blocked. This situation feels unfair and appears to be an attempt to delay or prevent me from accessing my money.Desired Outcome:Immediate approval and processing of my Venmo withdrawal A clear explanation of any legitimate requirements for withdrawal A commitment that my account will not be subject to arbitrary withdrawal restrictionsBusiness Response

Hello ******, It looks like you have not made a successful Venmo deposit so that method is not eligible for withdrawals until you make a successful deposit with it. You have only deposited with a prepaid card and credit cards which are not eligible withdrawal methods. As our help center states, ?You can request a withdrawal to any bank account, ****** account, ***** account, or debit card that you have previously used to deposit funds into your PrizePicks account. You have not made a successful deposit with any of these methods. If you wish to withdrawal to one of them, you will need to make a successful deposit with that method first.Customer Answer

Complaint: 23561805
I am rejecting this response because:PrizePicks continues to deny my withdrawal based on an arbitrary and unclear requirement that is not consistently enforced and was never transparently disclosed at the time of my deposit.
They claim that I must deposit using the same method I wish to withdraw to (Venmo, ******* etc.), even though my account is fully verified and I have complied with all general terms. This condition is not made explicitly clear before depositing, and it essentially traps users funds unless they can navigate an undocumented and selectively applied policy.
Furthermore, I used a legitimate, accepted payment method (credit/prepaid card) to fund my account, and yet they say I cannot withdraw because of it despite the fact that their system allowed it in the first place. If these deposit methods are not eligible for withdrawal, users should be blocked or warned before funding their account. Thats basic platform transparency.
At no point during deposit was I clearly told, Depositing with a prepaid card will prevent you from withdrawing funds unless you re-deposit with a separate method. This is not user error this is a system designed to cause confusion and restrict withdrawals.
I am still unable to access my winnings and am requesting:
Immediate approval of a Venmo withdrawal
Written clarification of any legitimate, consistently enforced withdrawal requirements
An assurance that PrizePicks is not misleading users into depositing via methods that block them from retrieving their money
Until this is resolved, I will continue pursuing escalation through the ***** payment processors, and state regulators.
Thank you.

Hello ******, It looks like you were able to withdraw successfully via Venmo. On July 15th, your remaining credit balance of $189.17 was withdrawn successfully.Customer Answer
Date: 07/16/2025
Complaint: 23561805
I accept this only for the fact I did finally receive my $189.17, its unacceptable that it took over 8 failed withdrawal attempts and weeks of delays only to be resolved after I filed a BBB complaint.
This wasnt a glitch it was neglect. And the fact that support ignored me until I escalated says everything.
I will be sharing my full experience across social media and public platforms to warn others. Consumers deserve to know the truth behind your support and withdrawal process.

Hey So I'm filing a complaint against PRIZE PICKS the sports betting website. I recently just got into it and I deposited $760 on to the account. And I played for a couple of days it was pretty fun and my roommate I told him to start playing so he made an account but we are both originally from ****** and the only method of depositing funds on the website is using ****** for Canadians. They do not support Canadian credit cards or Canadian banks at all. So thinking nothing of it I deposited on to his account using my ****** since he does not have one and he paid me back. And next thing I know I get banned from the website, with no explanation at all and I spent literally hours contacting them to try to get an answer and I submitted forms they requested and still no response. I just want my money back or to be unbanned this is not right, they should have made it clear and I'm a student and they took over $1000 from me now.Business Response

On January 3, 2025, I discovered I was unable to access my PrizePicks account. I contacted the support team and received a generic message stating that I had violated the Terms of Servicespecifically Section 5.1: Account Misuse, Multi-Accounting, and Account Sharing, alleging that the violation was excessive and malicious in nature, resulting in permanent deactivation and a ban on creating any future accounts. However, no specific explanation or evidence was ever provided. Additionally, I was never told what specific actions I took that triggered this violation. The message included broad examples of improper conduct such as money laundering, VPN use, or falsifying payment info, but none of these violations applied to me. I requested clarification but was directed to submit a formal appeal, with the guarantee that I would receive further clarity during that process. I submitted the appeal as requested, explaining exactly what happened. Unable to provide much an argument since I didnt know what I was action I was appealing exactly. The appeal process was not transparent or helpful. In January 10, despite PrizePicks assurance that the appeal would provide clarity, I received no further explanation. Instead, I was sent a second generic email that simply repeated that I violated their terms and my appeal was denied. I immediately replied back that very same day with a detailed response raising concerns about the lack of transparency, possible identity theft, and reiterating my $300 pending withdrawal and $50+ account balance. I even asked if there was any further way to pursue this, but I have never received a response back to this day.I was not given a fair opportunity to understand nor dispute what I was accused of. At the time of deactivation, I had a $300 pending withdrawal that I have yet to receive and I had at least $50 in my account balance. While I am not contesting their right to close my account, I am requesting a refund of my $350.Business Response

Hello *****, It is your responsibility as a member to adhere to our Terms of Service in which you agreed to. You have created and operated more than one account. You have also self referred yourself to exploit our referral bonus. The two emails on your accounts are: *************************************** and ******************************. This is a violation of our Terms of Service section 5.1 Account Misuse, MultiAccounting, Account Sharing which states "Each User may establish only one (1) Account." Also included in this section is "Users may not use, direct, or control any Account other than their own for any purpose, including, but not limited to avoiding Account limits, suspensions, responsible gaming related limitations, evading other Account restriction(s) whether self-imposed or imposed by PrizePicks, or abusing promotional or bonus offerings, such as referral bonuses, for which each Account is eligible. The Account misuses and duplications described in this Section 5 shall collectively be referred to as MultiAccounting. MultiAccounting is a violation of these Terms and a violation of state law or regulation in many of the states in which PrizePicks operates." You have violated this term by creating and operating more than one account and abusing the referral bonus by referring you own account.
The extent of this violation is considered excessive therefore deeming your account ineligible for reactivation. Here is a link to our Terms of Service: *******************************************************************Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: PrizePicks has failed to provide a valid legal or contractual justification for seizing the $350 in real-money funds that were in my account at the time of deactivation. While they cited a general violation of their Terms of Service, they did not notify me of any specific issue until months later, and they provided no clear evidence of misconduct on my part.
Furthermore, I did not knowingly engage in any multi-accounting or referral abuse, and I have reason to believe my account may have been compromised due to unauthorized access to my mobile device. Despite repeated attempts to clarify and resolve the issue, including a formal appeal and a follow-up email sent on January 10, I received no response until I filed this complaint.
Even if PrizePicks believes it had the right to close my account, that does not give them the right to retain legally deposited or earned funds. The $300 withdrawal that was already pending, along with the remaining balance of at least $50, represent my personal fundsnot promotional creditsand should be returned to me immediately.Business Response

*****, It is your responsibility to adhere to our Terms of Service in which you agreed to. As stated in our previous response you violated Terms of Service section 5.1 Account Misuse, MultiAccounting, Account Sharing by creating and operating multiple accounts. You have also self referred yourself further violating this section by abusing our referral bonus. As stated in this Terms of Service section 5.1 "In the event that PrizePicks, in its sole and unlimited discretion, determines that you have committed MultiAccounting, then, in addition to any other rights that PrizePicks may have at law, equity or created herein, PrizePicks reserves the right to: (i) suspend or terminate any or all of your Accounts (and all other Accounts associated with the MultiAccounting); (ii) cancel any pending or in-progress entries made on the Accounts associated with the MultiAccounting; (iii) demand and/or seize all funds earned by you by participating in Contests during the time period of the MultiAccounting; (iv) terminate, withhold, or revoke the awarding of any prizes, including prizes that you have already withdrawn from your Account; (v) seize or remove all promotional balances, bonuses or free entries previously awarded to each Account(s); (vi) seize all real-money funds in the Account(s) at issue or earned by the User(s) at issue during the course of MultiAccounting; and (vii) report you to any relevant authorities for violation of state laws and regulations."
We have determined you have committed MultiAccounting by creating and operating more than one account and also abusing our referral bonus by self referring your own account. In accordance of our terms your accounts were terminated and your funds were seized. These consequences are clearly outlined in this section of our Terms. I am rejecting this response because: PrizePicks continues to rely on broad Terms of Service language to justify withholding $350 in real-money funds that I legally deposited and/or earned. However, citing internal discretion under Section 5.1 does not entitle PrizePicks to seize customer funds without providing evidence, due process, or proof of intentional misconduct. I was never shown such proof, nor given any opportunity to properly dispute the claim before my funds were taken.
The company has also failed to consider that unauthorized access to my mobile device may have contributed to activity that triggered their system. Regardless, I am not contesting the account closureI am only seeking the return of my rightful funds, which were pending withdrawal and held on my account at the time of deactivation.
PrizePicks response reflects a one-sided interpretation of their Terms, but does not address the legal or ethical obligation to return customer funds when no fraud has been proven. If this matter is not resolved, I will pursue formal complaints through all applicable state and federal regulatory channels, including the Texas Attorney General and the *************************************Initial Complaint

On June 27, I opted into the Flex Friday promotion offered by PrizePicks (SidePrize, LLC). I followed all required steps to apply the promo to my lineup: I opted in, then selected the promo checkbox before submitting my entry. Ive used this promotion in the past and know how it works. After submitting, I noticed that the Protected Play label was not applied. I immediately contacted customer support before the games began to either apply the promo or cancel the lineup so I could resubmit correctly. They did not respond in time, and when they finally did, they blamed me, saying their system is reliable and that I must have failed to select the promo. But I know I ****** a result, I lost the protection the promotion was supposed to offer, despite doing everything correctly and reaching out on time. I am disappointed by the lack of support and accountability from the company. Im requesting a fair resolution, such as a refund, account credit, or acknowledgment of system failure.Business Response

Good Evening Yormaylin, On June 27th you opted into the Flex Friday Protected Play promotion at 7:08:14 PM ET, You did not use that promotion on a lineup until 11:04:06 PM ET when you placed a $30 lineup. You won $37.50 on this lineup and so no promo funds were added back since you didn't have any net losses. If you attempted to use the protected play on the previous lineup which was placed at 7:36:36 PM ET you did not follow the directions correctly. You opted in, selected 3+ played, selected flex play, but did not check the promotions box in the lineup builder to apply that promotion to your lineup. However, you did follow these steps for your lineup that was placed at 11:04:06 PM ET and that promotion was used successfully on that lineup.Initial Complaint

I deposited $1,000 on 06/26/2025. Today I go to request a withdrawal and my money is frozen. They are requesting I playthrough the funds. I have requested withdrawals in the past and have never had this issue. On the deposit screen it doesn't say you have to play through the funds. Maybe somewhere hidden in their disclosures it does, but to not explicitly say it on the screen where you deposit the funds is very slimy. Transparency is important. The lack of transparency is the reason for this complaint. I reached out to Prize Picks before submitting this and they were not helpful disregarding my complaints.Business Response

Hello *** *******, It is your responsibility as a member to adhere to our terms in which you have agreed to. Stated in the Terms of Service section 9.6 Withdrawals it states "Subject to any state law or regulation to the contrary, PrizePicks has a 1X playthrough requirement, which means that you must enter lineups totaling the amount of funds you deposited before being able to withdraw those funds." For example, If you deposit $1,000, you must submit and play through $1,000 worth of lineups before you can withdraw. Long story short, they are a sports betting website that my friend told me about so I got into it and I don't have a ****** account to deposit money on to my account with so I asked him to deposit some money for me and I Venmo him. But they have a strict multi accounts rule that I was not specified and apparently you can't have someone else deposit on to your account which was not mentioned and they instantly locked my account with the funds and my winnings. ( I won over $3000 on the account which they also locked ) And now I can not log in as well as my friend so he also lost his money because they refuse to pay us out. I contacted them multiple times and they just turn my down every time with no good reason and don't even let me explain the situationBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:I had no intention of violating the rules or committing fraud.
I used my friend’s PayPal only because I lacked access to one and had no alternative method of deposit (as the platform didn’t provide much other options for Canadians)
And by no means was I trying to disguise my identity or deceive the platform.
As a reasonable user, I was not made clearly aware that using a friend’s PayPal — even just to fund my own account — would violate the rules. it was not clearly stated much anywhere that I had to use a PayPal account that’s under my own name.Lastly the penalty is definetly not appropriate: this is the first time I’ve ever heard of this.
Disproportionate Penalty / Unjust Enrichment:
Even if I technically breached the rule, forfeiting all your winnings and deposits is definitely an excessive punishment. I’m not asking to unban me if you don’t want to. I proved that I’m the account holder and I actually just made a PayPal for myself if you’re still unsure. But like I told you guys. I’m a college student I don’t have much money It’s hard enough to pay for rent. I just the money that was in my balance. There should be around $4000, and I will fight for it because of how unjust this is

Complaint Title:PrizePicks Settled Wager Incorrectly Before Game Ended Player Played Full Game Complaint Details:I placed a prop bet on the PrizePicks platform for ***** ******* to go over 8 PRA (points + rebounds + assists) during Game 7 of the *** Finals on June 22, 2025.Official box scores from ****, *******, and multiple trusted sources confirm that ******* finished with 17 PRA (10 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist). However, PrizePicks settled the pick in the third quarter, marking it as a loss before the game ended. ******* was not injured and played the full game, so this early settlement was incorrect and premature. When I contacted support and provided official evidence, I was told the pick was settled using their internal stat feed, and if I didnt agree, I could go ahead and file a complaint. This shows a lack of fairness and customer care. Hello Aphodesia, This Aaron Nesmith projection that you selected was for the first half only as indicated on directly on the projection. NBA1H was the category that you selected. NBA1H means the 1st half only. Which would also explain why this projection was scored in the 3rd quarter as the 1st half was already completed. This was not a grading or scoring error as this was scored correctly.Initial Complaint

Good Evening Mr. Lambert, You are providing a screenshot of ChatGPT as your source for this. ChatGPT is not an accurate source nor is it our official scoring provider. If you actually viewed any relevant source that keeps track of stats you would see that one dunk is correct. You mention NBA and ESPN as stat providers in your complaint here but seems as if you were too lazy to actually look at those sources you mentioned but instead just used ChatGPT. This dunk was made at the 7:47 minute mark in the 3rd Quarter, Which was his only Field Goal of the game. I find it very disingenuous and in fact lazy that you are even arguing about such a clear and obvious dunk without looking at any credible source. ChatGPT is not an accurate source nor is it our official scouring provider. Just because ChatGPT says something doesn't make it true. Lineup results will be based on the statistics provided by our official scoring partners, as originally posted at the conclusion of the sporting event or competition. Have a great rest of your day, Marcus.Initial Complaint

Hello Mr. Mindola, You used your Flex Friday Protected Play on a $6.53 lineup. In our arena game mode, once the entire contest is completed those protected play funds are paid back. BBB Business Profiles are provided solely to assist you in exercising your own best judgment. BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.
When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.
BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.
As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
