      First key homes starts off like they care about you..Nope just like everyone else you are just a number a dollar sign...I went from a 130 dollar utility **** last month to a 411 utility **** this month. Come to find out my ** unit was working improperly and after speaking with the utility company they were willing to adjust the **** but stated FKH had to do the actual adjustment considering they had to send someone out to fix the ** unit... they are unwilling to adjust the **** knowing that the unit was faulty.. their maintenance person even stated as bad as the system was it could have caused a fire... they don't care... they just want money...I have referred people to them...no more..it's a shame

      *********************** at FirstKey Homes of ******* was absolutely great to work with! **************** at its best. After loosing the first home we applied for she went out of her way to help us find and secure the perfect home for our family. Even responding to emails after ours.

      I started applying for a home that was $1,475 at 10am By 5 pm the home was at am updated price of $ *****. I think that is absolutely terrible.They are taking advantage of people need for a home in an already shakey economy.I'm glad I was left out. I will never rent from this company. The shady tactics are disgusting.

      First Key made the renting process easy, we had a few hiccups in the beginning but once we were connected with the correct people everything went smoothly. This was all possible because of *****************************, ******, and ***************************. We were finally able to find the perfect house for our family and FIRST KEY MADE IT POSSIBLE!!!!! A lot of the negative reviews on here seem to be from people who did not make proper decisions before signing a lease or ensuring that the property is what they wanted.

      I had great service with ***** in the *** area. He was always helpful and prompt on contacting me back. He was informative on the property and extremely helpful in giving me facts so I could make a decision on what is best for me and my family. His customer service skills were excellent. I would definitely use him again ??

      I have been having issues with my rental since my move in day last November. I was out of heat and hot water for a week. Property manager ************************* was hard to get in touch with and I am still as of today waiting on the credit that I should have been received for the week that I didnt occupy the property. We now have a horrible leak in my kitchen sink that supposedly was fixed but is still leaking, which has created mold, mildew and a bad smell. The kitchen sink leak caused a leak in my childs bedroom ceiling which has now caused the ceiling to fall in and mold is everywhere and the water is still leaking down. I sent property manger ************************* an email and of coarse no answer. The crazy part about all of this is that this company has not once treated my maintenance issues as an emergency. We are in a home with mold and the smells is now seeping all around the inside of my home. From my personal experience I wouldnt recommend this company to my worst enemy!

      No stars - Poor communication. No return phone calls from Firstkey , even though I made sure to contact reps at the phone number provided and left messages on desk voicemail (not just general voicemail box) . Overcharged on water by hundreds of dollars and took 4-5 months to receive my credit . Firstkey expected me to sign a new lease before the water issue was resolved. The issue was resolved BEFORE early renewal and notified them I was wanting to discuss. No one contacted me back. When i followed up and called Firstkey after NOT receiving no response , I was told that they could not do that early renewal because that window passed and wanted to raise the rent even more. No thank you . Poor ***************** poor maintenance. Dead tree over 20' tall had large branches (larger than I could cut and stack for pickup myself) fall off and even received a notice from the neighbor . Dangerous to property and people . Too many issues to list. No lock box , after we were told there would be for us to leave or keys, as of this date the tree has not been addressed. I would not recommend properties managed by Firstkey Homes.

      Even before move in, FirstKey has been a nightmare to deal with. Employees getting fired/quitting, zero customer service, no follow up or follow through. The absolute most unorganized, terrible company Ive ever dealt with.
