  No star but I had to select one... I submitted an application for a house on Saturday evening at 9 pm. Paid the $100 and then I logged in 24 hours later and it said denied. There is no way someone looked at my application. And I can't get anyone to call me back or email me back. So they took my $100 bucks and that's it. Def will never use this company again.

  They take 49 dollars and you never get the property or qualify for it. They list rentals and take your 49 dollars and then list the property as refinancing our home! ***************************** never answer phone calls or messages he is also apart of the scam ! Scams scams scams Dont Do It ! Try Trulia !

  I am very grateful to ******************************** for treating me as a person and not a number. She was very professional yet empathetic when addressing a billing situation another property manager didnt care about and showed she didnt care about. Ms. ****** took care of in a week what took others months to ignore. Thank you Ms. *******

  We are in the process of trying to get into a home this Friday in ******, **. We are at 48hrs prior to move in we can not make our Security Deposit. I still have a $705.00 credit. Seems after we paid the initial payment of $1795.00. We lost all contact with everyone except ********. At this point still nowhere. Continually trying to talk with someone that knows what is going on is impossible. I've waisted enough time here. I will be there at the address I have rented Friday either way

  First key homes I would never recommend to anyone. They are unfair with the way they do ************ had experience with them having to call them over and over for about a month still havent gotten any responses from the leasing agent once you pay your money no one contacts you you have to do all the reaching out they take your money and cant explain anything to you I would never recommend first key homes to anyone ever at all I would never live in any of their properties ever.

  These big companies are buying all the available homes in our area. So renting from Firstkey was our only choice, as I needed to have a place in *********** to attend school. For starters their communication is terrible. The only time it was semi-good is when we were applying for the house. As soon as we moved in the communication was dropped. Any time we try to contact them there is no response. They never answer when you call. Will always get voicemail and very rarely a call back. I made a call about our move-in report and when I finally contacted the regional administrator she sounded irritated.We were told in our move-in email that a move-in report would be sent to us and we could send anything they missed back to them within a week of moving in. The lease states that we would get a move in report and then have 24 hours after moving in to send any amendments. We have been trying to get a response about this for weeks.We also added roommates and while Firstkey was happy to take their application fee they have not been quick to send a new lease with their names on it. The condition that the house was in when we moved in was laughable. The shed in the backyard is dilapidated and rotting, and we're expected to maintain it. The bathroom door didn't close because the carpet was installed so it was blocking the door. The mudroom floor along with the kitchen cabinets were not cleaned before being painted. All the windows in the house are covered in condensation due to broken seals. Either no one inspected the house or they truly did not care. We were not given proof of an inspection or a move-in checklist and as of three weeks in no one is answering or getting back to us about our concerns. They seem interested in our money and nothing more. The only people who seem to care are the technicians they send for maintenance. And although the techs are nice they never seem to be able to fix the issue on the first or second visit. If I could I would leave negative stars.

  This company is only a business. You would be better off renting from somebody on marketplace. I have had issues with my cooling 4 to 5 times in the last year. They try to send somebody out from their maintenance department and it doesnt work and then they send another person now and it doesnt work and then they finally call an actual cooling person to come out. Its a complete waste of time while the renter is suffering. And then moving out has been a complete nightmare there are four or five different people that are emailing you and calling you so you dont know who to send your stuff to. Theyre all about the bottom dollar all about making the money I would never ever ever rent from First Key Homes again

  We had a great experience working with Akeeta Free. She was quick to respond and always kind and helpful. We found the company to be very accommodating for military and the extra inconveniences we sometimes experience as well.

  I applied for a property and the process was smooth. The move in coordinator Hope was really nice and exceptionally helpful. If I needed help she responded back to me, and told me what to do. Im glad I selected this company to work with. It has been a very good experience.

  We have had nothing but issues since moving in at the end of March. We are now in August and we still cannot access the community amenities. All the issues have been with prior tenants and now First Key Homes and ************** are trying to hold us accountable for the issues. I have several emails and numerous phones and no communication in return. We are not going to be contacting an attorney to address this matter. We feel we should not be charged for services that we are not able to use. In addition I can't even get them to get another tech out to install the dishwasher that has been delivered since July 19th.
