Went into Churchs to Order 10 pc mixed, fries, biscuits and fried okra. Young man told me that I couldnt get more of any piece of chicken because it has to be mixed. Ok, fine. Told me my okra would be out as they had to cook it. Waited, got all my food, went to the car. The okra looked too dark, and smelled burnt, so I tasted it. Okra tasted burnt. Went back inside, told the young man that Id like to exchange the okra for some mashed potatoes, because the okra was burnt and it tasted burnt. The young man, with an attitude, proceeded to tell me the okra wasnt burnt, he tasted it, and that they just cooked it. I told him it looked burnt and definitely tasted burnt. Id like to exchange tor mashed potatoes. Now the manager jumps in and says we cannot exchange it due to our policy. So I said even though my okra is burnt, you are telling me that I cannot exchange it? Both guys said no. Now I get mad because what happened to the customer is always right? Since the young man already had an attitude and he was looking mad, and looked ready to fight, I asked him did he want to step outside or something. He acted like he was coming outside and he was held back by co-workers. So, I emptied the okra on the counter and said fine. Manager said he will call police. I told him I will call the police and proceeded to call, but an officer was riding by outside, so I stopped him. He talked to both of us, separately. Because its a place of business, and they can serve who they wanted, according to officer, I did not get mashed potatoes, The owner also told him that I cant come back to their establishment. So not only do I want a refund, Id like the manager to apologize for wrongly banning me from their establishment when all that needed to be done was an exchange of food.Initial Complaint

On July 18,2022, My wife and I went to churches fried chicken at ******************************************************************, went thru the drive thru, ordered *** order, ask for daily specials, changed order then ordered two fried pies, cashier asked if we wanted icing, said yea and told me to park in front after almost 20 minutes I went in to ask if my order was ready, cashier hadn't prepared our order and had the two pie in a bowl swishing them around then dropped one and proceeded to put iceing I said I didn't want them got angry another employee got upset becy I said they hadn't even prepared our order and I didn't want the pies because one fell on the floor, then told me to get out of his store and didn't need to give me my money back, I then said I would call the police and report them to the regional office, the called the police and regional office, after telling me he didn't like working there anyway, cashier lied to police about put the money back on my **** card. Today Thursday 21 of July the funds still haven't shown on my bank account, and churches has falled to respond to my complaint, my name is my number is ************ Thank you sincerely *************************Initial Complaint

am writing to you to let you what had occurred upon getting my order from Churchs Chicken on July 8.I had a placed a skip the dishes order for pickup. I have included a receipt of the order in this email for reference. I had ordered 2 chicken wraps in the order. My mother who is *********************************************************************************************************************************************** the wrap was not a chicken strip but a chicken wing. She took a bite to the bone and slightly chipped her tooth and was in quite a bit of paint the following day. That same night I called the Churchs Chicken on ****** and **** to let them know of the incident and they told me that their manager wont be in until tomorrow morning and she took down my information. The next day the manager called and instead of siding with the customer she was trying to cover up for her employer stating she made a mistake and offered another order of the same. This was not a simple mistake like putting mayo on a sandwich when asked not to. I said no as I wont likely be back here again. She then tried to offer me a gift card and I declined as this matter cannot be solved by offering free food or a gift card. I take it more serious than that. I always loved churches chicken but the last two times I visited the chicken had one of the worst smells I've ever smelt in my entire life. I have smelled plenty of batches of foul chicken I assure you this was not that smell. It was death, bad fish, ****, and something I cannot describe! It also produced white residue and alot of yellow liquid when pushing on the chicken.. my daughter ate a drumstick that was in my 3 piece and immediately began having stomach problems.. I was unaware of what was wrong until I went to eat my piece minutes after.. I contacted there corporate office about a refund and was told someone would be called me but I was never contacted back. The service is absolutely terrible but what do you expect when you have your employees working in the heat. I don't blame them at all I'd have a messed up attitude here and I'm sure churches is not paying them enough at that! Parking lot has been screwed up for YEARS!!!! I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! I am requesting a FULLA REFUND AS WE COULD NOT EAT THE FOOD AND NEVER WANT TO IN THE NEAR FUTURE!Initial Complaint

I went out not churchs chicken to buy food because I was feeling sick Im diabetic and my sugar had dropped too low so i needs something to eat I ordered my food and drove off as I took a bite of chicken I said to myself this chicken is disgusting and the biscuits were hard as rocks the fries were salty but hot I turned my car around and went back into the store to take the food back and ask for a refund the employee the my food looked at it and said yeah this food is hard. And slimy and through it away I asked for a refund he then let the supervisor know what has just taking place after he repeatedly played with me like I was a child I asked him to stop playing with me to make a long story short the manager had an attitude because I said the food was nasty and I would never eat here again in front of others customers I asked if she could give me my money back in cash I did pay with debit she said no if you dont give me your f****** card you just dont get a refund I explained to her the money had been taken out already and can I have my money back because my sugar had dropped low and I didnt want to pass out I needed food that was my last money until payday I had to eat being diabetic she kept replying no and walk off I gave the young man my card she took it from through the debit card at me and hit me with it I told her Im not a dog and to pick it up at this time we were arguing I felt threatened I through something back at her and pick my card up and left and called the police she started recording after she had assaulted me I just wanted my refund and I never received it I had just had a loss in my family and this was too much to handle its been a week since this happened and I havent gotten a refund yetBusiness Response
