      UNTRUSTWORTHY. Sorry to add to the growing number of complaints about this awful store but were hoping to save others some headaches. Prices and selection at Floor & Decor are irresistible but not when you consider hidden policies and bad service. We had two bad experiences in less than a month.First issue: We spotted a tile that had been marked down half from what we paid a few days before. When we showed our receipt to recoup the difference the clerk told us we were out of luck, started lecturing, and eventually told us we could bring the tile back, return it, and then purchase it again to get back the savings (translation travel back home, load the stacks of tile back into the truck, travel to Floor & Decor, unload the tiles into a cart, cart the tiles back into the store, refund, purchase, and then cart the tiles back to the truck, load the tiles into the truck, travel home, unload and restack the tiles). Over $110 gone.Second issue: We tried to return 13 tile trim pieces we didnt use and were told that we couldnt get a refund because the case was open. Wed bought the 13 remaining trim pieces in a box that was already open. Turns out that Floor & Decor had charged us for a full case and, not that it should have mattered, will not provide refunds on open cases. Tried to explain to the clerk that the box we used had been opened and that we were falsely charged for a full case (15 pieces) but she couldnt be bothered. Wed never seen an employee so disinterested in helping a customer, unapologetic, smug (we saw her do the same thing to an older fellow the previous Saturday morning). Over $40 gone.You wont find a customer service counter at **********************. In the meantime well continue spreading the word about Floor & Decor and have already talked one contractor out of ever using them again (he was already on the fence). Fortunately *********** has many great choices for floor and tile stores!

      I ordered kitchen counters. They came out to measure. I showed them pictures of what I wanted. They didn't build them correctly. I had to pay for them to a part of the project. When the other half was delivered, it was of a different material. They told me to call their subcontractor, the person THEY hired to do the job. The subcontractor sent out someone to inspect and that person verified that they used two different materials, but then offered me a small discount off of my $5,000 counter job. I said I wanted them fixed. They told me they didnt have either material so couldnt match them they were good enough. I went back to F&D, who first told me I should deal with the subcontractor. I told them that I purchased the counters from them, and if their subcontractor didn't deliver what THEY paid for, it was on them. I should be able to go to the place I bought them and have my problem resolved. I was promised a call "the next day." I heard nothing. I called. I was again promised a call the next day. I've heard nothing and it's been another week. I called again and was transferred to the corporate offices. They promised a return call. Its been another two days and Ive heard nothing. Altogether, it's been over six months and I don't have what I paid for. I don't trust them to make this right. On top of all that, one section has a huge splotch on it that.

      I would give them a zero if I could. Terrible customer service. I ordered **** pounds of tile and paid $230 in delivery fees. Told them no semi-tractor. They showed up in a semi-tractor trailer and had to park on the busy road. They put the pallet on the electric off loader and the delivery guy proceeded to pull it up our gravel driveway. The off loader sunk into the gravel immediately because of all the rain we've had. We spent an hour trying to get the off loader out of the gravel and in the meantime, tore the boxes of tile up. Once he freed the off loader, he left the pallet of tile at the end of our 1/4-mile drive. My 71-year-old husband and myself had to move 15/80-pound boxes onto his pickup truck and drive it up the driveway and then unload all the boxes into the garage. When I called customer service to get a refund on my delivery fee, I was told that was their policy, to leave the order at curbside. **** pounds at an elderly couple's resident. We would have been better off picking up the order ourselves and it would have been less labor for us. Horrible delivery service and customer service! Now we have 24 hours to see if any of the 80-pound boxes of tile have any damage. Ironically, we had 2 vanities delivered the same day from a different company and they were brought straight to our garage. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! If you must shop here, DO NOT do the delivery service.! Just pitiful!

      Purchased about $700 worth of marble tile in ********************************. Was told by the cashier and ******* had 90 days to return it if we did not like it or if any pieces were broken. 6 days later we took it back to return for another product. We were told there was no refund because it had been discontinued. I would not spend 700 if I knew I couldnt return it.. The managers lack accountability, customer service skills and were deceived. Corporate was a joke when weve called and spoken to and Still waiting to be contacted for a resolution. My guess as Ive read on all these posts is nothing is going to happen. Customers and buyers beware. Do not give them your money! Buy somewhere else. There receipt says 90 days but also says we reserve the right to limit or deny any returns!

      Somehow created three duplicate accounts, so I'm missing orders when I login my floor and decor account. The sad people in the store who work for this company can't help, nor can customer service through the website. Basically they just tell you to call the store or the website when you try to get help, and neither will and defer blame to the other. Horrible, never going to shop here again after our bathroom remodel project. And the installation made 'easy' software they use for their contractors is terrible....it's a fight to get any type of list or scope of work added to it, and they still mess stuff. It's basically, "just agree to pay 50% down for what was verbally agreed to, and if you cancel, we'll charge you a huge cancellation fee...."

      Materials are nothing like the samples!!! I waited 2 months for a sample of the Aqua guard Performance wood laminate flooring with a supposed AR5 rating and it was unscratchable with a knife. My contractor put the flooring in that Floor and Decor sent and it scratches very easily in areas that do not even have traffic. Large deep scratches that show very easily in every room. When I alerted the company that the flooring was not the same as the sample they wrote me back saying if it is already installed I am not allowed to return it for a refund. The *** is correct so this is obviously a scam where they give you a substandard product in place of the one they sold you. Do not buy anything from this company!

      I am a retail customer and I have purchased **** sqft of prime finished oak floor , life time warranted , after 2 years the floor is peeling off everywhere , they refused to pay for rinstallation and replacement of those floor cost of the repair ***** dollars , this is a disgrace I hope they will pay for this !

      We purchased a *********************** Bathroom Cabinet and Counter Top at the recommendation of the Floor & Decor Design Services designer. We soon discovered that once the cabinet and countertop were installed that the is NO ACCESS to the plumbing. Definitely a *********************** cabinet design flaw. After contacting *********************** directly we were referred to Floor & Decor for resolution. After many conversations, emails with pictures, and phone calls with both *********************** and Floor & Decor *************** store we still do not have a solution. Each time we speak we are advised that they are reaching out to ***********************, the store manager, etc. to see what can be done. My last phone call to Floor & Decor contact was not returned. It has been several months and she has yet to offer any solution or resolution. Buyer beware of both companies; Floor & Decor and ***********************. Round and round we go. Each company blames the other and we are stuck in the middle with a faucet that cannot be accessed to tighten.

      I am a Pro Premier member at Floor and Decor and have been purchasing flooring and tile from them for years and recommending them to my clients. I purchased tile for a remodel in October and specifically asked the salesperson how long I had to return it because there could be a possible long delay. She said Pro Premier members have a year to return. I went to the ********** ** store with my receipt on July 14 and was told the return policy is 3 months. I asked for the manager, who was extremely rude, and he yelled- 3 months. They asked for my driver's license for the return and told me to call an 800 number, which I called immediately. I could not understand a word the person said and basically it was a waste of time because he just said the same thing. I will NEVER shop at that store or tell any of my clients to go there. I noticed the store was empty. I'm not surprised.
