    Phenomenal! We ordered ducks from them this year and our experience was fantastic. We ordered Magpies and the rest Hatchery’s choice, for 30 total. The day our order shipped just happened to be a short hatch, so the shipment only had 10 of the 20 hatchery’s choice we ordered. They promptly refunded for the other 10. The 20 ducks in the shipment arrived incredibly vigorous and healthy, and came quickly to northwest MT, arriving the day after they left the hatchery! I know USPS controls shipping times, but it’s good to know, since most hatcheries take 2-3 days to arrive here. We didn’t lose a single duckling! A week later we received a call that they were shipping the second half of our Hatchery’s choice order, for free! There had been a miscommunication on their end, so we not only got refunded for the initial birds that weren’t included, they shipped them at a later date for no charge!
    Healthy birds and great customer service - a hatchery can’t be better!

    The most caring and polite people you could ever meet. If the number system only goes to ten, i've give them a hundred on their customer service.
    You wont get a robot but speak with the most friendish person ever..You orders will be delivered asap

    I have placed 2 past orders of chicks and a third this year with MPC. The chicks have all arrived alive and healthy. I have never suffered a loss. Mistakes have been made (1 incorrect breed), (1 incorrectly sexed and incorrect breed) but that’s out of 20 birds. Most hatcheries have larger minimums per a breed because those mistakes are inevitable when you order 1 each of multiple varieties as I did. Customer service was great and reimbursed me. MPC continues to be my hatchery of choice as a backyard hobbyist.

    I’ve ordered probably 7 times over a course of 10 years. Out of approximately 30 chickens all arrived alive and without any subsequent issues. This past Summer I ordered my first ducks. They too all arrived well and thus far I have no complaints. And, I’ve only ever had one incorrect sexting issue. This was part of my recent chicken order and honestly the Speckled Sussex is such a great rooster I haven’t felt the need to complain. (And my rooster ratio is not an issue)

    I heard some negative things from fellow chicken keepers so I just wanted to leave a note about my experience. Last year I ordered 3 olive eggers for my mother as a gift, they shipped perfectly and now they're all beautiful 1yr old hens, perfect experience.
    This year I ordered a few bantams and a single standard chick, all arrived happy and healthy. They're beautiful young birds and exactly as described.
    The shipping is not cheap but it's worth it to have happy and healthy chicks!
    Love MPC and will be ordering more this fall! Very happy repeat customer!
