    I have bought from them several times via their e'bay store front with no issues. I placed an order through there home site, and it was just a mess! The shipment was not on time and I was told one item was not included, they DID refund for that item. I received the order, the item I was told wasn't in the order was the only item in the box. I sent "*an You look for the Fire Engine and the *** model... The Ice *ream truck model was the only thing in the box..The box was delivered next door and before they returned last week I had to run up north..My original concern about the refund was that it was incorrect, in at least how I did the math at what was stated as included.".. They sent on the 7th "I apologize for any confusion. It looks like I refunded the wrong item in error. The item that was oversold was the * in * Miniatures 1613 N ''80 *hevy *65 Semi-Tractor Kit. *an you please confirm that you only received the Showcase Miniatures 32 N 1:160 1953 *hevrolet Ice *ream Truck UnpaintedMetal Kit and that you did not receive the Athearn ***** N Scale White Fire Department Fire Truck Engine *o. #**?" to which I replied correct.. On the 8th I inquired casually about the status and got "Thanks for confirming. I'll have our warehouse look for this item and get back to you as soon as possible. Don't worry about repayment for the refund overage, it was only a few dollars difference." on the 11th I inquired again and received this brush off "This has been forwarded to our supervisor, who will be out of the office until Monday. She will reply at that time.Your patience is appreciated." I have attempted to get more status, but I am ignored....

    I've been satisfied with my dealings with the company. I've sold items and purchased them from Trainz. When I sold a bunch of cars, locomotives, buildings, etc. they were great sending shipping labels and picking up my packages. I forgot am item and they sent me additional label. The whole process went smoothly. Items I've purchased have been top quality. Recently bought Walthers NW GP 9 at discounted price from other dealers. Engine arrived in new condition didn't look like it had ever been out of original box. I continue to monitor their Website for good deals or hard to find items. Train Guy

    Hello *************** for this opportunity. I really enjoy checking out the Tranz website. Recently, what got my attention was a beautiful MTH 30-1156 Pennsy 2-8-8-2 USRA Mallet steam locomotive, a steam engine that would nicely round out my steam livery. I ordered the train 7/28/24 and could not wait to introduce it to my layout. It arrived as promised. I put it on the track and it did not work. At all. Lights, smoke, but nothing else. Could have been the battery. Could have been the board. Something was certainly wrong. I contact Virginia at ***************** I was told it is sole "as is." Huh. Does this mean that Trainz never tested it? Just put it on a track to see if the thing AT LEAST runs. I did not get the impression that the unit was even tested. I was told that I could replace it, on my dime, $50.00 of my dime. **************. A bulb, a replacement rubber tire. I can handle that. I could get the train to Fed Ex and send it back, I could pay the fee. But that isn't the point. We are train guys *****. In my dialogue herein, you know how damned excited grown men can get to see majestic steam locomotives, especially ones new to the stable, glide effortlessly pulling a 15 car consisted over real estate on 0-72 curves, emerging from a tunnel, with billowing smoke and a haunting robust whistle. Not this one. It just sat there. If I were sitting in your chair, I would do anything within my power to comply with the wonderful sign off "In your service." I do not mean a freebee. Not by any means. I will pay a fair and reasonable price. Maybe replace the Mallet in kind. With a note from the man himself, "so sorry **********************, we will be shipping you another Mallet we tested and you have my word that this engine will run." You would have an exclusive customer for life. But , I am not sitting in your chair. I have purchased another train from Trainz, but I am cautious. As is. I wonder, will it run? Time will tell.A loyal customer.*****
