Tried contacting mohawk to talk about our floor that was coming up and the receptionist told us there was no one to talk too. She said we weren't their customer but that the retailer was their customer. We went thru the retailer and they complained also to mohawk to which mohawk hired an inspector to look at our floor. This is a floating floor and we're told it was secured down and shouldn't have been but it is not nailed or screwed down, it is a product with problems and nobody from mohawk will admit it. I have heard other people with problems also with no solutions from mohawk. This company I would not purchase from

I had purchased flooring and within the cases I had mixed flooring. My issue is that the installer laid the flooring to find out that there was mixed flooring. I had to have them remove the mixed flooring and return it to the store (*******) and no one from ******* did anything. I did receive a letter stating that they are a self-service, do it yourself store offering the lowest prices and the best products available to you, our valued customer. But, they deny my claim based on their self-service principles.
I did receive a letter from Sr Claims analyst from UNILIN Flooring part of Mohawk. Working with *******(Guest Service) offered me a IN STORE credit for $130.00. When it cost me time and money for the best product available to their valued customer. All I asked for was to be refund for the cost out of my pocket for their mistake. I feel Mohawk / UNILIN would care that the correct product was sent out their doors.

I wish I didn't have to give them 1 star because their product is defective. I purchased sheet linoleum for 4 rooms in my home. The installer showed myself and a young handyman helper the defect. I made the purchase through **** ***** in Johnson City, TN. The people from ** sent a sample to them for review. In the meantime we are out the money for that. I purchased vinyl plank which my handyman installed. He did a great job. But now I am waiting at the mercery of Mohawk to determine whether or not they will refund us our money.
      DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.
About 30 plus years ago the products were good but no more.

Terrible company do not buy from them. We have a total of 26 rentals and have purchased flooring for them throughout the years. There are good and bad products but Mohawk is the absolute worst. Recently spent money on a high quality mohawk floor and half of the flooring has been bad or ruined while being put together by professionals. The team of installers even said it was a faulty product. So now I have a faulty floor that 1/3 of my purchase came out of the box broken or broke during setup. I put in a claim and Mohawm skirted the issue and said it was all fine when it obviously isn't. You can't get an honest answer out of this company. DO NOT BUY FROM MOHAWK. They are the most fraudulent flooring company i have seen. They sell compromised flooring and the product is actual garbage.

We had Mohawk carpet installed 2 years ago by ***** Flooring in ************. We did not buy the cheapest grade of carpet. It looks like it has been in the house for 20-30 years. Very worn down. Mohawk is saying it needs to be cleaned but that WILL NOT FIX the fact that it looks beat down and worn in traffic areas in just 2 years - that only tells me that in another 2 years or less it will look the exact same. We aren't stupid - cleaning will not change the quality of the carpet!!!! We paid $7,000 and the carpet that had been in the house for 30 years looked better than the Mohawk does after 2 years. BUYER BEWARE of ***** and Mohawk!!!!

Purchased Mohawk laminate flooring throughout my home 3 yrs ago, the flooring is cheap, with a faulty locking mechanism. It has been discontinued , Every room has separated planks with curling, sharp edges. Notified Mohawk headquarters at least 40 times with emails, calls back and forth. They finally had an inspector come out after 1 year of writing and complaining to corporate, he agreed the floors were not holding in place as they should, poor quality, but he doubted Mohawk would replace planks due to areas that may not be level enough for a floating floor. More excuses, the flooring is defective and poor quality. The floor is crap and only 3 1/2 years old, shame on this company, not honoring their guarantee, thousands of dollars wasted on junk.

My purchase of Mohawk carpet from H D was a big disappointment. Showed serious wear after less than a year after installation. I made a complaint to HD 13 months after installation. HD is supposed to stand behind what it sells, but they claim I broke the warranty by not producing a receipt for a professional cleaning 12 months after installation. Really? Shampoo a clean carpet to defend its wearing out so quickly in a low traffic bedroom area that is not in any way soiled and where no shoes are worn in the house. Let the buyer beware is so true, I should have read the prior reviews before I made this terrible purchase of low quality carpet that claimed to have a 5 year warranty.

Well I used to think that their Karastan carpet was pretty good quality but, I was wrong. The lot to lot variation is less than acceptable and their quality control is pathetic. I wouldn’t recommend buying any of their products- RUN FOREST RUN!!!

Mohawk customer support said I could clean my carpet with a vacuum from their approved list of 16 approved vacuums of 2022. So I bought a Dyson Animal 2 which they said was acceptable. Then I asked to speak to the tech support division and they absolutely not as that vacuum is not on their approved list from the Carpet and Rug Institute.
So after buying the vacuum on sale because it was marked down for Christmas I checked with the tech support division and they said they never heard of this list and that I shouldn't use the Dyson. Back and forth about 8 times. Customer keeps saying it's absolutely ok and Mohawk technical support saying it's not. I started all this around Thanksgiving and haven't been able to vaccuum since my $10,000 carpet was installed 5 weeks ago. I was referred to their Consumer Affairs Division and their puzzled as to why but can't fix the problem either. If I use the wrong vac. I can void the warranty. Mohawk-you suck!!! Thanks for screwing up our Christmas with our filthy carpet with pet fur and carpet strands all over the house from the installation.

I bought Pergo Portfolio + WETPROTECT TECHNOLOGY. In short I WASTED my hard earned MONEY!!! It was installed in July and August 2021. Here it is December of 2022, not even fully paid for yet! My floor is rolling up on the edges. We had a dog that would urinate on it while we were at work. As soon as we came home it would be cleaned up! Mohawk has been very hard to deal with and ended my claim without even sending anyone out to check it! Now I will be cutting the bad parts out and refilling with wood putty! DON'T WASTE HARD EARNED MONEY ON PERGO FROM LOWES!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!
