      Just had mohawk LTV flooring installed less than 1 week ago, 10/12/2022. The flooring appears to be defective, with the edges starting to curl, this is a vacant house, the HVAC system is on and I spent $4,000 dollars preparing the subfloor for install of the floors. The installer says its a manufacturer issue, Mohawk says maybe who knows it will take months to investigate the cause and who knows what the remedy is or how long it will take.

      I purchased Mohawk Carpet from ******s. After just a year it was wearing terribly in walking areas. It was supposed to have a 10 year warranty. I notified ******s who notified Mohawk and my claim was denied because I did not have the carpet professional cleaned every 12-18months. This information was never given to me by ******s. I have my own carpet cleaner and with just two people it does not need cleaning every year. The carpet was prematurely worn not stained. It looks like it is 20 years old.
      I can't believe ******s continues to do business with this company. Do not buy Mohawk carpet.

      So disappointed in the install and response from both the flooring store and Mowhawk. Carpet is less than a year old and already looks worn and loops are pulled all over where we walk. Our carpet from 1996 was and continues to outperform Smartstrand in the rest of our home.

      In 2018 my father purchased a Mohawk carpet from **********. It's the smart strand corn husk carpet that was highly recommended. By 2021 the carpet was wearing out in high-traffic places. My father filed a complaint in October 2021. He sent pics and spoke to the installer. Over the last few months, he made multiple calls, left messages, and never heard back. Finally, today, July 20th, 2022, he emailed the ********** president and got a response. According to them, MoHawk stated that it's normal to have this type of wear and tear on a 3.5-year-old higher-end carpet from a Senior citizen who lives alone and walks around in his socks most of the time. Mohawk is not standing behind its product.
