      I went to concert in ******************** and parked in the garage. I used parking app and paid for 9 hours using my credit card. This was minimum hours available. My car was booted and I didnt understand why. I called parking service and ****** Salmon came and showed me that I forgot to enter my car license in the app, so I was booted. I showed ****** my credit card I used to pay, and there was still 5 hours remaining on the app with clear indication for the correct zone. I also showed my driver license and asked being considered for forgiveness since I have proof of payment. The only response was that if I ever want boot removed from my vehicle I need to pay $75 right now and there will be no further discussion. Service man looked as he was going to leave if I was not going to pay. I find that appalling. If mistake cannot be forgiven at least I should get a credit for paid parking which I had shown clear proof of. *************** might come up with some mechanism for respecting customers instead of threatening them.

      I am rejecting this response because: I am attaching additional proof that car that was booted was indeed my car. I am also attaching proof that the license plate I mistakenly left in the app is for my friend's car, which we parked in ************ when I visited in December. I made a mistake while using the app. I am also attaching screenshot from AmEx that it is indeed the card I saved in ParkMobile app. I paid for parking, but made mistake using the app. Moving forward, will not make this mistake again.       Unfortunately, you did not have a payment associated with the license plate displayed on your vehicle as required by the operator. When you signed up for ParkMobile you agreed to follow the regulations posted by the operator.  
      In addition, you were prompted to confirm the information entered was correct before making your payment.  You are not eligible for a refund.

      The company wrongfully booted my vehicle, not providing a reasonable enough policy or time to pay for parking. The business is predatory in nature and the company does not attempt to help people at all. Additionally, my vehicle was damaged during the process, as my hubcap is now missing off the vehicle that was booted. How can the company that damaged my vehicle charge me for services unfairly rendered?

      I parked in a pay parking lot purchasing my ticket at 5:56pm on December 13, 2022 and returned to the parking lot about 9:00 pm only to find that my car had been booted even though I had my purchase receipt on the dashboard of my car. I had to pay a $90 fee to have them remove the boot. I have sent documentation with pictures of both my original receipt and the boot receipt and have yet to hear back from them. It is a scam they are running. I want my $90 returned to me.

      The booter claimed I didn't pay and was booted at 9pm. I have a profile on the app, which I used to pay and didn't park till 9pm. The booter placed boots on multiple vehicles and it seems like he's doing so illegally. I also believe he may have been under the influence as he was extremely rude and unreasonable, even after I showed him the app and the receipt.He then claimed my parking had expired even though I had paid for 2hrs. I reached customer service at ****** request the removal and provided a screenshot of my call log below. At that point I felt he was trying to find ways to make a quick buck of a young woman.

      I am rejecting this response because: I provided proof of payment, even if the license plate number was off by a couple letters. it does not invalidate the payment for parking. The payment was accepted and receipt was provided. If there was a number in there system and the car was never present during the time stamp. Doesnt that mean they are stealing money for cars that arent even present ? 

      The app provides a profile and I have used this account multiple times, and never had this issue. Lastly, If booting is the result of paying via the app, then that should be listed in the parking garage or in the apps policy. Which it was not.

      This is a follow-up regarding a complaint filed on 12/07/22. I was sent all email stating that the company needed a copy of my receipt and tag/car info which I provided. The subsequent email stated that the issue had been resolved but I have not received a resolution. Below is a recap of my original complaint:I am a delivery driver for UberEATS and I parked in the designated parking garage for the restaurant, *****'s Deli, to pick up an order for a customer. There, I noticed signs stating that parking for *****'s Deli was for 15 minutes only, and a restaurant validation would be required for any time beyond the ********************************************************************************* short time, I did not bother to ask the staff for a parking validation. When I returned to the parking deck less than 10 minutes later, I discovered that I had a boot on my car! I immediately called the number from the sticker on my window and was voiced my confusion. A driver was dispatched about 20 minutes later and I again explained that I was in the restaurant for less than 10 minutes and did not understand why I got a boot on my car. The young man said that there was nothing he could do about it and I asked if I could run back in the store to get a validation to avoid the $75 fee, but he said that I would still have to pay for him to remove it!!! I am asking to be reimbursed for this bogus charge, but I am mostly hoping that you investigate this company for what is obviously a money grab and scheme.

      Customer was not parked in one of the spaces reserved for "To G0", but was actually in a paid space that requires customers to register their vehicle in the app.  If they decide to visit *****'s Deli they can receive a validation code to receive free parking.  Unfortunately the vehicle was not registered.

Also when I asked the young man if I could go back inside and get a validation but he said that I would still have to pay to remove the boot!

      I find your rejection odd considering the facts. The  fact is you were not parked in the area with the "to Go" signage.  The signs where you parked read "Pay ****************************** way you did not text 250TENTH to ***** as indicated on both signs which register your vehicle. This lead to your vehicle being booted as an unauthorized ******.

      Dear BBB,I am so disappointed. Please help me resolve this issue. On October 30, 2023, my friends and I celebrated my sisters birthday by surprising her with ticket to the Lion King at the ************** in ***********, **. This is an event that she has been wanted to attend for years. I decided to use my daughters vehicle ****** Cruise) because my vehicle (Kia ******** has been a target in our city for carjackings in the recent months. We parked in the lot adjacent to the Sanger Theater. What should have been a very happy occasion turned out as a disaster for our celebration. After leaving the event at 9:30 pm, I noticed a boot was place on my secondary vehicle. Id accidentally listed the incorrect license plate number for the vehicle used to attend the Lion King show at the ********************** on 10/30/22 at 6:30 pm. My total charges for parking were the initial $40 parking fee (I showed my paid receipt to the PPE representative) and an additional $130 for boot services ($90 for the boot and an extra $40 for parking). In total, I paid $170 in parking fees, $170 for the event tickets, and $45 for concession snacks - $385!Im disputing the total parking charges because the sign posted to the contrary stated that the Boot fee is $90 - Id already paid the $40 parking fee, but listed the vehicles license plate as WSZ 532 which is for a Kia ******** I opted to use my secondary vehicle ****** Cruise - 413FGS) as a safety precaution measure, which I dont use on a regular basis. Im not understanding why an extra $40 was charge since I had a receipt showing that the parking fee was paid. *** made attempts to contact the parking lot owner via email for a refund - he agreed to refund the additional $40 (written in an email) but I havent received it as of yet. This was a sincere mistake and by no means was I trying not to pay the parking lot fees.Thank you for your assistance with this.****,*************************

      I parked outside Chase building and signed in to verify I parked outside. At the same time another male also signed in. When we walked out together we both had boots on our car. When we told him we both signed in inside he removed the boot off the black males boot, but not mine. The agent said he refused to remove mine because I am white. Clearly booting all vehicles, but enforcing fines on white people primarily. I signed the book inside, and my name can be seen on the book. There is also video footage of me walking in and leaving.

      I did sign in upstairs, but I also signed in downstairs on the book at the same time a black gentleman did who was next to me. You removed the boot for him, but would not remove it for me. Your agent called the desk for the black man to verify he signed the book, but refused to do so for me. He told me tough luck and to either pay it or I was out of luck for being WHITE. Clearly your employee is a racist and made it well known to me and other people in the area. Video footage shows I signed the book as does the book as it has my sign in. You are just a scam company who puts these on people's vehicles then forces them to pay or else they are held hostage by your company until they pay. My father is a lawyer and will be suing you unless the $90 charge is refunded as what you did to me is illegal, and a form of kidnapping as I was trapped there and couldn't leave or move my car until I paid your ridiculous fine.

      As I explained to you on the phone, you were parked in an area reserved for guests who sign in with building security in the lobby upon arrival.  You were booted at 12:40 pm and you did not sign in with security until after paying to have the boot removed at 1:04 pm.  Signs are posted all around the parking area indicating who the parking is for and the consequences along with the fine for not complying.  We will not be offering you a refund as you were legally immobilized as an unauthorized ******.

      I have reviewed the audio and video footage from the agents body worn camera and there was no mention of you being WHITE or anything else inappropriate.  I can post the interaction on my ******* channel if you would like.

      I did sign in when I walked in. This is just a scam operation that STEALS money from people while holding them hostage until they pay ******. They did this to me and the other gentleman parked near me. They cut him a break even though he did the same thing as me. Video footage will show we both signed in. These people are low life scum with no integrity. The owner/phone operator is a hostile and aggressive person. There is no winning when you deal with THIEVES like these people.       I have paid the ***** parking fee in the morning , and it wont be expired until 2am next day morning. my car was booted during the day on Monday the 5th. and I had to ***** to take boot off my tires. my vehicle was booted in error, you filled out the online dispute form to have the matter further researched. its says Please allow **** business days for all documentation to be reviewed. its had been almost a month and i didnt heart anything for this company.       I put my card in to pay, it said validating card then machine reset. I tried calling the number above the machine 3 times and the number was out of service. And they booted my car. I showed the employee pictures and videos and was told I still had to pay $75 to remove the boot but to file a dispute to get the money returned. That was august 28th and I still havent received a refund. Then their machine NEVER has paper to give you a receipt.

You should make it more of a priority to maintain your machines and ensure everything is working properly and has paper, & make sure the app for the lot isnt ringing up as FREE if theres supposed to be a payment, which you clearly dont do.
