      I contacted Serveco regarding a 2 piece couch and sofa set I purchased in September of 2021. I purchased the warranty in hopes that if anything went wrong with my couches, I would be covered and had piece of mind and I was protected. I was very wrong. They are recliner couches so the back rests of each spot is removable to an extent, except I started to notice everytime someone sat down the whole back would shift. It was so bad that my autistic son's arm got stuck between one of them and almost broke his arm. I immediately called when I noticed this was not normal and entered a claim with **** (sp?). After submitting pictures via text, I received a call from **** a couple days later stating they would not cover anything because it was from 'wear and tear'. I keep my furniture in good shape and take care of it. There was no way this was from wear and tear after having for a little over a year. I then asked to speak to a manager. I received a call from the manager ***** a few days after that. In between waiting for a callback from the manager, I proceeded to go to the purchasing location to inquire if they've had any issues with these couches only to find the store was no longer there. When ***** called I had mentioned this to her and she proceeded to tell me she could offer me back a prorate of my warranty. While speaking with her I googled if the store had moved and found the exact store in a different location. After I told her this, she all of a sudden had to 'call me back'. When I got off of the phone with her, I called the furniture store to ensure it was indeed the same store just different location. I spoke with the assistant manager there and told her what was going on and she told me the couches had a year manufacturers warranty that I could try to use and gave me the info to do that with the store manager. I sent in the claim and waited to here back from ***** and the store manager. The store manager called me the next day to say I was 3 months over the manufacturer warranty and that what is wrong with my couch should be covered under serveco as he has seen others with the same issue have no problem being covered. I then proceeded to call ***** back a couple times with no answer and left messages both times. Finally after a few days she returned my call saying she had no time to check in with the store and see what she could do and asked what I found out. I then told her I *************** and it was confirmed I purchased from that company and from there she said she would have a tech come out and look at my couches. I would hear from the company asap. A day later I got a call scheduling the appt and the tech was here on Saturday. The tech found that every single one of the metal connectors on the back rests were not functioning correctly and needed replaced and while pushing in a back rest after trying to tighten one, the wood on the piece broke in half. He had also expressed he has seen this a lot on these couches. On Tuesday I called serveco to get an update to ensure the tech sent in his report and left a message for *****. Well, I got a call from ***** today and she informed me nothing will be covered because the tech said it was wear and tear. In the brochure that was given to me when I purchased the warranty it states: coverage for mechanical and structural BREAKDOWNS is effective upon the expiration of the manufactures warranty. I then asked to have my money given back to me at the prorate amount that ***** quoted me prior, and then she said since she had a tech come out, she can no longer give me back the warranty prorated amount. I have put in a call for the director- ***** to call me because this should be covered. I wish I would have read the reviews of this company before purchasing the warranty or even the couch for that matter! Maybe they should re write their brochure to include all of the fine print that they enclose over a phone call to you. It really needs to say, we will take your money and not cover anything! They do not want to help you and find every way to get out of being liable for the furniture that they are supposed to cover. I have also contacted a lawyer and the furniture tech company to get a printout of the technicians report. This company needs to reevaluate how they handle claims. It is a scam.

      Sorry to hear of your disappointment, misunderstanding regarding your claim. Your Service Contract protects against many types of accidental stains and damages that occur as a result of specific incident. Through examination of the photos of the damage, it was determined that the damages reported were the result of heavy wear and tear that occurred over time. However, prior to this review, we were happy to hear, in the spirit of customer satisfaction, our Director was able to resolve your concerns by offering the option of a repair or a refund.       My recent experience with **** was excellent. Her prompt attention to the issue at hand was handled immediately and professionally. **** is truly an important asset to your company! She dispatched a technician to my home and ensured that the part was ordered to repair my recliner. I look forward to the repair being performed once the part has been delivered.

      Very happy with initial experience of executing warranty contract for lazy boy product which has ceased working properly. Customer service representative ******* was very knowledgeable and polite. She treated me as if I was the most important customer in the world.

      Amanda was the most helpful person I have spoken with this month about a claim concerning a damaged when delivered desktop. Her information and suggestions were clear and knowledgable. Now if the UPS and remaining installation jobs are handled with care our wait will be worthwhile.

      Sorry to hear of your furniture damage *****. The Service Contract you purchased covers a wide range of accidental damage that commonly occurs to furniture that is owned in the home. Regretfully, after inspection and review of your specific claim, it does not meet the criteria required to be eligible for full service. In this case, the fabric seams are separating and that is not a covered item as described in your Agreement terms. Our apologies for the disappointment with the outcome of your claim. Sincerely.
