      I have had nothing but a bad experience with your company, my son got me a $500 vanilla gift card and my funds was stolen off my card and I have not been able to talk to anyone about this, all I get is automated messages and that’s not acceptable. I will tell everyone not to ever buy these cards. So mad over this

      I've never before left a review on BBB but this warrants it. I was given a Vanilla gift card from my work as a thank you for a major project. While I was able to succesffully use it once, I have not been able to ever use it again succesfully despite getting a replacement card, spending quite a long time on the phone, and having over $100 left on it. I can't express how frustrated i am and how scammy it feels. Do not ever gift a Vanilla Gift Visa debit card.

      was scammed on gift card on April 6th, filed a dispute and have not heard back. Have sent over 20 emails and a certified letter and no one has contacted me about my gift card that was drained for 200.00

      If I could leave a below 1 review, I would.
      I had been dealing with their customer service 1800 number folks since January of this year. I got no reply from the dispute team until the end of March. To get a formal response from these folks I had to email their CEO, president, and some other VP-level people to get an email about my situation. I had a $500 gift card that I used maybe 3 times. It eventually stopped working, and any transaction I wanted to use it for would be declined. despite the funds being there. AGAIN CUSTOMER SERVICE number on the back of the card WAS USELESS. My card number was fraudulently used and they took all of the remainder of my card, $400 worth. I have confirmation and evidence that my card was used in a different state and not by me. THERE IS video footage of that. InComm Payments couldn't care less. it took them 3 months to tell me that the transaction was NOT fraudulent. WHAT?! and HOW?! The email I finally got with a "formal " response said this.
      "We received your email regarding your gift card # ****-****.  Unfortunately, we are unable to overturn the denial of the dispute. We have no recovery rights thru the Network, VISA.  Please refer to the Cardholder Agreement that accompanied your card at time of purchase as it relates to disputes.  Additionally, we suggest you try and work with the Merchant and your local police department to try and recover your funds."
      PLEASE MAKE SURE WHEN YOU GET A GIFT CARD, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY OR THEIR SUBSIDIARIES. GET A GIFT CARD DIRECTLY WITH VISA, WHERE YOU HAVE SOME PROTECTIONS.

      if i was having minus rating i would give that to them. i had a gift card which my daughter was given on her birthday. Gift card charged 5 dollars when it was given as a fee. My daughter wanted to use it and found that it doesnt have any money. They were charging 4 dollars per month as maintenance fees of gift card which i heard first time and when i called their customer support they said that it is written in some small fine print. they didnt give any notice to me or called anyway or tried to reach out or told buyer these conditions. It is crazy and this company should be stopped doing it and making more fools like me. They are the worst ones. Never have a vanilla gift card.

      These cards should be investigated I purchased one last night and put 150.00 on the gift card I tried using it and it declined every transaction. When I called them today I was told it was put on hold for suspicious activities now I have to wait 7-10 days for a new card. This is my money and they should not have a right to put my purchases on hold with a prepaid card that has my money on it this is ridiculous

      Vanilla cards have become awful. Their customer service is horrible! Im sitting with a 50 and 100 card that will not work. Vanilla will not make these good. What a rip off! Calling them is a joke, you get the rudest, so called CSR who litterally hangs up on you. What a scam

      Vanilla gift card company is a rip off. Don’t ever return anything because they will hold your funds for 11 days before they will return the money to you after the merchant told me that they will have the funds back in my account within five days.

      Tried using my gift card on 5/1/25 and it had been locked. I called Incomm (case no. ********) on 5/2 and explained to them I used my ****** ****** **** rewards to earn the $80 virtual gift card. The woman on the phone stated they would unlock the card — they cancelled that card and “issued a refund check”. The refund check said 7-10 business days (today is 5/20/25) & now I can’t get a hold of anybody to figure out what’s going on
