      My company has Aflac handle their FMLA, Medical and Short-term disability cases. I filed a claim in ***** 2022 because I was diagnosed with two herniated disc and my lower back and it was too painful to do my job. I submitted a claim and Aflac approved my FMLA and Medical leave but denied my claim for disability. This confused me because if I meet the requirements for FMLA and medical leave then why don't I meet the requirements for short-term disability. I had my doctor fill out the form that Aflac sent me. They Aflac said the the forms that my doctor filled out was only for FMLA and Medical leave and that they send a form directly to the doctor to have them complete it but they never received anything from my doctor. I asked if they could give me the form and I would take it to my doctor and have them fill it out and they said no. Let me back track for a minute. I filed a claim in ***** 22 they denied it in ***** because of lack of clinical records. I appealed this decision in ***** and according to them the appeal process takes 60 days. Well on day 61 I called them and they hadn't even started on my appeal. According the Aflac that didn't have the doctor notes. I told them that my doctor filled out everything that was asked on the forms that she was given (detailing my diagnosis, my limitations and how long my condition would last). I doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you have two herniated disc in your spine that you are going to have problems bending lifting carry things etc. It has been over 6 months since I submitted my claim. That's six months without pay which has resulted in loss of my insurance which provided the treatment I need.I was finally able to get the doctor notes that Aflac said they needed only now to have them request my job duties from my manager. This was submitted in *****. They have done everything that could to prolong my claim which has cause an unnecessary hardship for me an my family. One star isn't a bad enough

      AFLAC is a joke!! Customer Service is a joke! First claim I had I was out of work for 2 weeks due to a torn MCL and had to have PT; well only got paid a check of $600 which I was out of pocket over $3000 plus missed work. Now, Im fighting for a Critical illness (heart related) and hospitalization now for over a month now and still fighting to get a claim paid. They are saying now since it wasn't a heart attack from the heart cath, they are not paying the critical illness and asking for itemized bill (which now has been sent 3 times along with everything else they have asked for) to get the hospital claim paid for me missing 4 days of work. WHAT A JOKE!!! Guess they are paying Nick Saban and Dion Sanders too much for thise commercials!!

      I've been trying to get paid for my medical bills cause that's why I got a policy from them and since I had an accident they advertised they take care of all your bills but they changed that story the minute I had claim an since I have ran around wasting my gas getting copy's of all the bills I have not been able to logg into my account I'm so disappointed in them not only on this policy but I had policy back in 2011 an got hurt on the job and they didn't make good ok that either ...like I said they have been making impossible to access my account to load pictures of bills cause they keep changing the story and the policy so they don't have to pay me an if end up homeless because il will be filing lawsuit against them

      This company is a total ripoff never will do business with them in the future and I will tell all my friends about the service the practices of this company they are only there to take your money and give you the total run around make you jump through hoops to get paid for any medical issues that you've gone through. Somehow they make it so it's very difficult to cancel unless you pay them directly instead of your job. I would advise everyone the same amount of money that you're paying them per month to put in your own bank account and when an emergency comes up you have your funds available people have been paying for years and never received any benefit back from this fraudulent company that is only there to take your money.. I've been through several agents each one promised me that they will help and show concern but still in the end was let down in fact they even tried to get me to increase money being sent to them each time. I have told everyone at the City of ******** to cancel their Aflac and a lot of us have been because of the lack of support that Aflac gives. This company is a total waste of time money energy in fact I still have doctor bills that I'm paying on my own that they were supposed to pay or promise to pay. We all know when we're getting the runaround this company is fraudulent and it deserves to be shut down.

      Argus Dental PPO has not paid my dentist twice now. I'm trying to tackle the first cleaning Nov 2021 that Argus still hasn't paid out on. Attempts to contact Argus Dental PPO has so far been impossible. I reached Monica and was then transferred but nobody ever picked up. I highly recommend anyone considering Argus to reconsider based on the experiences recorded here.

      9/22 and ****** never replied to my email so I can communicate with them. They won't pick up the phone either.

      Absolutely horrible at processing claims, some of the reps are rude and the auditors aren't doing there job! After submitting all the paperwork required by them you still have to call because they don't process it

      Terrible service, I have been a member since 2013 and have noticed over that last 2 years their service is not the same. I recently submitted a claim that their dragging tail on I believe to be intentional because I filed a compliant. I hope there is a class action lawsuit because so of their actions don't seem legal and are considered false advertising. My employer said I can not cancel until December 2022 but will be doing so.

      I run a business and a local Aflac agent recently cold called us with their plans. All the employees signed up for the $5500 accident coverage benefit. After several months of paying the premiums one of the employees was injured. Between the emergency visit, surgery, and rehab, the total provider bill was over $17,000. A claim was made to aflac and all the requested paperwork submitted. To date, Aflac has paid out only $800. It has been over 3 months and still no other payments or explanations. Nobody seems to know what's going on. The rep knows nothing. Emailing for help only gets you automated responses. Aflac is an absolute joke of a business. We have stopped paying the premium because we feel this is just a complete and total scam. They like to take your money but won't make due on their promises. This is a terrible company to deal with and our experience was just awful. All the time dealing with them was a complete waste of time and resources. I can't believe they are allowed to continue operating.

      Please do not go to Aflac. I filed a claim over a month ago and all I get, in review or pending or they need more info. I sent everything in and then some. They don't want to give up the money for people who file claims. The people are so rude. AGAIN... PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A FRAUD!!!

      I've had Aflac for years good until the last year or so. The app and website are always down and they try to find ANY way not to pay a claim. They require tons of paperwork that either take days to get or not get at all from the hospital. They try and make you time out and be denied because you can't get any info on the app or the site about your claim.customer service is untrained and nasty
