Terrible company, their web site charged 3 times the amount for my premium, and i never did get all of my money back. After 21 years of service you think they would do a better job. Not the same company that they used to be.

I sent this in with my complaint of Argus today: Argus Dental did not pay for my dental cleaning in December of 2021. They have been called numerous times to resole the problem. Every time I get a customer service representative, I am told it would be resolved. I Have spoken to the following reps on the following days. Wendy, 5/2/22 (3.5 Hr. call) she spoke to the dental office and apologized for the delay, stating it would be paid the next week. It was not. Monica, 7/9/22 (on hold 1.5 Hr) transferred to Manager Shawn ( 2.0 Hr. call) said it would be cut on Thursday and sent. He apologized. The check was never sent. 8/9/22 I called again and connected with Wendy 5/2/22 again, she transferred me to Freddie who transferred me to Taylor. I have now started video and audio recording the conversations including Taylors letting him know that, at the start. After 3.5 Hrs. he said a check would go out on Friday. It did not, they now want to send a virtual credit card?!? My dentist needs and deserves a check payment in full. He dose not take virtual credit cards! The claim number is -------. The total bill is $240.00. I have attached a copy of the e-mail stating they would pay via check. I will happy to supply you with additional emails and recordings stating that a check would be cut . Thank you in advance for your time and help. Run for your life and DO NOT USE ARGUS FOR ANY INSURANCE! I give it one star only because I have to in order to post this!

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that you experienced this delay. The provider submission of your claim was illegible and Argus worked with the provider to get a clear copy. This has now been resolved and payment was mailed to the provider on August 16, 2022.

Terrible! Not the company they used to be. I had a policy with this company for 12 years. A ****** policy. Everything I remember wanting this policy for, they no longer honor. The only thing they do will is get your policy from you monthly. They never give a grace period, never a late payment forgiveness, never even THANK YOU card for your continued 12 years of service! And good luck trying to even get the wellness benefit you're supposed to get every year. They only pay it ONCE, not per part of the body it's done on. For instance, I got a wellness benefit for my *********, but not my *** *****, not a ***** biopsy, and also not a **** ****** biopsy. It used to be they paid each one of those wellness procedures. NOT ANY MORE. I have watched this company go into the toilet slowly over the past 12 years. Small things at first, until you're paying in WAAAAY more than will ever be worth it. Go to any other company other than this scam of an insurance company. Too bad for you naive sellers of this crooked companies products. Don't Do It.!!!

My experience with this company is they make it very difficult to file a claim. I have read many of the reviews and what the policy holders have been my experienced I have been a policy holder since 2018 only file one claim and was blown off by their customer service. I have a new injury and the process was to difficult to submit. After reading the reviews from multiple policy holders I decided I again would be blown off and either a small amount as they decide after several months of fighting with the company, as I seen on the reviews would not be something I have the time for. Aflac has debited my checking account for 64.00 per month since 2018. I am at the point enough is enough I cancelled the police **/**/2022. The BBB needs to audit this company.

I have had a policy with aflac for a few years and no one can find me in the system. I have talked to several reps and nothing. The have searched by evey means possible and still can not find me. I just want a refund for all the years I have paid into this policy and continuing to pay for a policy that has clearly vanished. I have bank statements that show all aflac monthly withdrawals. I am unable to find a policy number, mail, or email as it was from a few years ago.

I've been an AFLAC member since *** 2019 through my employer. I recently gave birth in ******* of this year. I was aware of newborns being added automatically, but did not know how long I had to add her permanently. After my birth, I called AFLAC in preparation to file my hospital claim and also asked for a copy of my certificate, which I would expect to include all policy information like terms to know, time frames, policy changes due to Covid if any, and all that a customer SHOULD KNOW about their policy. Every time I asked AFLAC for a certificate, all I would receive is an overview that ONLY includes my name, the policy date effective and certificate number, NO OTHER INFORMATION. The information that I was looking for in my certificate like terms to know, time frames, policy changes and all things that a customer SHOULD KNOW and have on demand when requested is ONLY included in the brochure you receive after enrollment. Why is this essential information separated like this? What do I, as a customer have to ask for to receive basic information for customers like myself to not be blindsided when it's time to file a claim? My daughter was born */**/22 and was admitted into the hospital at * months old from */**/22 to */**/22. I called to make sure she was still covered before I filed the claim. I was told by an agent that she was covered and to proceeded with the claim, so I did and sent in all required documents. Next couple of days, I call to see if paper work was received and I was told that her coverage expired on */*/22, so I asked what was the time frame to add her permanently, they said 60 days from birth, when yet, another agent told me 30 days from birth. I called everyday and was given misinformation by 15 plus different agents that work for the same company and supposedly had the same training. I was also told by another agent to send in a check of $27.00 to have it reinstated for my baby from */* to */*. I did and they still denied.

Aflac... I have to completely agree with most customers. Always a Run Around. Nothing is straight forward with them . They denied partial and full claim payments. They change benefits and coverage to suit them, and not pay. My Wife had a near death event, was taken by Ambulance to an Emergency Room, And was Admitted to the Hospital, and was there for 11 days last *******. They only pay out less than $1200 for all that... Then she is fed up and wants to cancel, was to in *** she can't and would have to wait until Open Enrollment in August... Then I made 2 recent claims and they were denied due to no coverage... QUACK, QUACK, AFLAC, Strikes again ! We have proof of payroll deductions. I kept on them every day for weeks, and then they made 2 feeble payments for ER Visits @ $75 each. I intend to provide all the dates, times, events, paperwork, account #'s , policy cancelled and then reinstated,& Etc. AND CALL THE ***** STATE BOARD OF INSURANCE TO LAUNCH AN INVESTIGATION ! They can't wiggle out ouf that one with Double Talk ! And furthermore, any other fed up customers ? If there is not a Class Action yet... There should be. Sincerely, **

Aflac has proven to be a horrible company! My parents purchased long term health insurance with them and have been paying for that policy for almost 20 years. When it came time to start submitting claims for this policy, I discovered that they are unreachable. Their customer service line offers two options: leave a message for a call back (which they don't do) or hang up. They did NOT call back, and there is no other way to contact them. It is already a challenge to assume responsibility for the care of aging parents, and I was counting on this policy to help pay for their care. Aflac has given me one road block after another and has made my life a nightmare as a result. I had to find a local agent to answer any questions and give me information necessary to submit a claim. Their website offers vague, unhelpful information also. They finally paid a few months of claims and then quit paying, saying that the incorrect billing information was submitted. This is not true. The correct information has been submitted twice (which I verified) and they continue to say they don't have it. This is incorrect and I have the documentation to show that they received it. They simply quit paying and have only false excuses as to why, yet they continue to bill us monthly for our premium!

New Normal? YES! And as a RETIRED BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR WITHIN THE MEDICAL FIELD, I will honestly go on record to state that this Business, like so many others that I have dealt with in my long Career, has TOTALLY LOST SIGHT of who the Customer really is. The Sales force working for this Company are friendly and accommodating up front, but when Claims and Issues need to be handed, they seem to forget who you are, and/or what your needs are. Terrible inasmuch as anyone trying to get resolution to a claim (or failure to pay one) is doing so out of genuine NEED, not fraudulent purposes. So why is this? I have no other explanation other than an attempt to demonstrate total degradation of "so called services" that they pretend to provide their LOYAL CUSTOMERS. Sad? Yes it is. And in closing, I too am also waiting for CS resolution to a problem that I am having! But you know? Somehow I believe that I have the ability and tenacity to get this done. Let you know!

DO NOT use this company , we have house insurance through them and THEY messed up fixing our roof , and didn't seal the chimney. creating a leaking problem where every time it rains water pours down the chimney on the back side where we couldn't see it and now our floor is falling out and they REFUSE TO FIX the problem THEY CREATED. Horrible horrible horrible service , and they do not care about you or the service they are supposed to provide. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Currently consulting a lawyer about suing them. I am literally just ******* over on my home that I am close to owning because they won't fix it and the bank won't give me additional money to fix it because of the issue that AGAIN THEY CAUSED.
