1 starThoroughly Disgusted with Cady...The studio "looks" great but it is filled with impatient pre-adults with cameras. You won't realize you've been duped until afterwards. Poor quality photos. Deceptive practices. Cannot order all pictures as one package!!!! ?? You cannot order the cap and gown pictures along with the other poses. They sell them as TWO separate packages! $399 for regular poses and starting price for Cap and gown photos starts around $179....1 Pose. The pictures are too dark if you're brown skinned. Other parents reached out to me and shared their disgust. I will be contacting our school district to share my experience with the hopes they will never use Cady again.Review fromSanjeev B

1 starThis is the worse shake down of a business that I have ever seen in years! The employees are all in high schools themselves, they were not transparent, they were far from ******************, they rush decisions while others stare, bill credit cards without permission and trap people into thinking they are paying for a sitting only to be told later that there is a much higher price for what we actually thought we were getting. They had no experience with positioning people in photos. They charged professional prices for amateur work. This was way overpriced and chaotic. There was no privacy and no organization. This was a horrible experience, and I could have done much better with my cell phone. I don't wish this kind of experience on anyone. They are still trying to get money for the very pictures that we already paid to take. I initially paid $69 dollars for nothing once we found out that they wanted $200 dollars to get that one copy of two poses that were badly taken with cheap camaras. i will take my own child's graduation pictures and develop them myself. THIS WAS A STRAIGHT MONEY GRAB!!Review fromDennis N

1 starJust got done with my experience with CADY. We paid $199 for the studio session. The packages offered ranged from $199 for 1 pose that included a 5X7 and a 4X6. They showed me a nice video fo all the pics with some heart warming music to pull at my emotional side. The packages went all the way up to $1319.00. In the end, I got four 5X7's for $430.00 and they were accommodating enough to offer two digital downloads. Schools are making money off of this as they sign contracts for CADY to be the exclusive photo company for the school. Complain to your schools. This is a terrible company that is taking advantage of people because they have seniors that are graduating. Then there is graduation day.......you known the picture of your senior receiving their diploma ................probably a deal with another $1000 package!!!!!!!! CADY is a total scam and rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been on the teacher side and now the parent side. I would never suggest the use of this company!!!!!!Review fromCathy G

1 starIf it was not for having to use them or no yearbook pictures, I would not even consider them. A year long process of having to do 3 sessions because the first the pictures came out blurry, was told to choose another image, they came out blurry, and was told all was taken out of focus. only suggestion was to choose a casual photo. Really? for a senior photo in the formal section of the year book? so I went to school to have session #2, they were horrid, the guy didn't even know how the drape went, inside out and upside down. Session #3 was good. I ordered my pictures. They wanted to charge me again for the photos. I said no I still had the credit that I had sent the blurry ones back and have no photos to show for my money that I was told that the $ would go toward my future purchase. I had to go through 2 or 3 customer reps to explain. Finally, I was told that I would get the option to look at my latest portfolio to see if I wanted it like the first session...nope I had to buy that at $220 if I wanted it. No refunds. I bought cap and gown, got a $20 off with promo code they added shipping and handling and tax and took it off the end which was to be taken off the product first. Then I found out that I was charged $29 for retouching the first session and was charged $19.99 for retouching the last one. I was told no refunds, So between attitude, no talented photographers or herding the students in and out at a fast pace, the miscommunication and the Sorry we have your money and you're not getting it back....CADY ***** and I will not have good things to say but they have to be used or your student does not get in the year book. You would think for the prices they charge they would be alot better than they are. if there was less than a 1 star rating they would get it.Review fromBarbara B

1 starCADY is the Absolute WORST! they basically try to rob parents blind. They play on parents because its very emtional for you having your child about to leave the nest. They seperate the packages and hold the cap and gown pictures HOSTAGE! so you have to pay additional and buy them seperate. Do not believe the GOOD REVIEWS! becaus they are reviews from employees. You should definitely schedule an appiontment with photographer and get quality pictures because these are overpriced and subpar. They even show you untouched pictures and try to chanrge you additonally to removed blemishes,DISGUSTING! but don't trust me. See for yourself just hold on to your credit card. Because if you don't they will charge for already returned items on time and argue. So glad I went elsewhere and got beautiful pictures for half the price. The schools should be ashamed allowing this company to rob parents for YEARS! just read the comments on other sites.Review fromTessa L

1 starFirstly the experience at the studio was horrible. Feels as if you are herded around like cattle. A few of the photographers were unacceptably rude as well. Secondly the pictures were HORRIBLE! Lastly they sent me a book that I did not want HARASSING YOU to get it back before the deadline or they will charge you $400. So i sent that sucker back immediately. They gave me the label and I returned it in January. It says returned on the tracking, however up until yesterday I continue to receive threats that I was going to be charged because my book hadn't been returned. I called the associate she was unable to find any information I had to screenshot and send her the information on the tracking which ultimately she did scan it as received and they are not going to be charging me as of yet anyways. However they were unable to see any of that information on their end or failed to track the order I had to do all the work for them. This company is a scam I am going to be so thankful if the school decides not to work with them again in the future which from my understanding they are trying to make that happen. So many parents have complained about this being our only choice this year and now I see why!Review fromSara F

2 starsI ordered my daughters Sr **** on October 20th.The 21st of October was the last day you could order & get the portfolio of **** for free. I waited until late to order because I didnt have money to spare.I did a pay in two plan on their site. October 24th Cady charged me $229. I did not receive an email/receipt. I assumed the **** wouldnt be downloadable until I finished paying & forgot about them.December I realized I didnt have the **** & checked the order. It was still saying pay later & had no buttons/links to pay. Christmas came along then we traveled to visit family in the hospital. I didnt get back to looking into it.January 31 I chatted with CADY & was told that I needed to reach out to ****** to figure out why the payment didnt go through. ****** doesnt appear to have a phone number just email/chat so I put it off.Today I chatted & ****** said that the screen shot I sent from my bank showed payment directly from CADY so I needed to call them. ****** did not have record of my order.I called CADY & was told that the order never went through. The charge was for the portfolio which was only supposed to be $150 plus tax so they will reimburse me the $50 overage. They will not reimburse me in full for the portfolio because I didnt order in time for it to be free. They can see my order in the system on October 20th & do not know why the order failed. They claim I put it in pay later status & never came back. There are no options to set up payment on my end so it obviously went past that point. I just had to pay the $425 to get pictures. Thats almost a months worth of groceries for us.I also paid $79 just to go have the pictures taken. I am $733 into these pictures & still have cap and gown ones to purchase, those are sold separately.Feeling very sad and angry that I was screwed. Yes I should have followed up sooner but life happens. Good companies support their clients.Review fromMe L

1 starTerrible experience. My daughter was turned away by the photographer at her high school for retakes. She her previously taken pictures with her. This company asked me to take the picture. The service is awful. They refused to refund our money and stand by their service. We offered to send the pictures back to them although she tried to give them to the photographer. ******** is extremely blurry. I will now support other parents in switching school photography companies.Review fromElizabeth S

1 starI have never had a worse experience with a purchase. The following occurred. They took photos without the graduating honors sash. This could not be corrected because too much time had passed. They took off an unwanted retouching fee but refused to refund it and only provided credit which I will never use. This means that I had to pay for a service I never received. They took the photo with the wrong graduation year on the tassel. Virtually every person I interacted with messed something up. Seems like they want to deliver customer dissatisfaction.
