We placed an order with Dean stair treads on April 17, 2023 for $600 worth of stair treads. To date we have received nothing. After three weeks and many times subsequent to that we have left phone messages and email messages and received almost nothing in reply, on one or two occasions, we received a note saying that they were in back order. Recently we have received no replies to anything we have sent to them. We are seeking a refund of our money.Customer Answer

I ordered strair treads on 14 April 2023 for $735 from Dean Stair Treads. I inquired about the status in June 2023 and was told it would ship soon. With no product received I inquired in August 2023 and was told it was on back order. Placed an order for stair treads on 4/20/23. Emailed repeatedly (in order to have an email trail) and every time was told that it was a supply chain issue. On 8/2/23, I asked them to cancel the order and provide a refund. They acknowledged that they would cancel the order but did not provide a status of the refund. I ordered and paid in full ($425) for a carpet runner on December 5, 2022. I have yet to receive the product ordered. After multiple attempts to call leaving voicemails, and emails I was informed that the material is on back order. After following up several times it was suggested via email that I pick a different material. Those I was told are also on back order. At the 6 month mark I called and emailed on 6/13/23 about the status of the original order and have not received a response for over 2 months. I requested the method for getting a refund on the purchase and continue to get no response by phone or email. We have purchased and received other items from this company to our satisfaction but have been very frustrated by the lack of any information or response for over 2 months and not receiving the product we ordered and paid for over 8 months. Order placed through website for two sets of carpet stair treads for $623.98 on June 11th.
Similar experience to other complaints.
Contacted seller via email for shipping update on 6/21, 7/2, 7/3 and was told shipping soon. Message was verbatim "I expect your order to ship soon. I do apologize for the delay. Please keep in mind that each item is custom made to order. You will receive an email with your tracking number when your order ships. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance."
Contacted seller via phone on 7/26 and woman told me some material had been backordered and she would contact me back with a shipping update. No response. Contacted seller by phone on 8/1 and left message asking for update. No response.
Checked BBB website and saw similar complaints from June. I would like a full refund of $623.98 due to non-delivery after nearly two months. ****** case also opened/reported 8/1.Customer Answer

Ordered and paid in pull ($468.00 USD via ******) a set of 12 stair treads from Dean Stair Treads on Nov 22, 2022. Waited for over 2 months and was repeatedly told that the production of the order had been delayed due to material supply chain issues. Was later advised by the customer support to switch to a different style stair treads whose materials they have in stock. Accepted their advice and chose a different style stair treads on Feb 2, 2023. Then waited for another 4+ months with no delivery of the order but repeated responses with production delay and expected to ship in nest 2-3 weeks. On Jun 16, 2023, the customer support offered a cancellation and full refund of the order if I no longer want to wait. I accepted the suggestion and they said they would cancel the order and initiate a refund. I checked few days later for the status of the refund and they replied on Jun 20 that the refund should take 5-7 days. That was the very last time I heard from them. They refund never came and all attempts to communicate with them had since been ignored.
Please noted that the company has a *************8 number that never works. The only contact avenue is via ************************ or ******************************.

I placed an order with this company on 5/13 and the charge was made to ****** Credit that same day. Having not received the product by 6/5, I emailed customer service and was told the order would “ship soon.” No communication was sent after that email regarding an estimated shipping date. On 7/10 I sent another email asking for cancellation of the order and for a full refund of my initial payment. No response. On 7/25 I left a voicemail asking again for an order cancellation and refund. I also let them know I would be filing a BBB complaint if I didn’t get a response within 24 hours. ORDER #***** I ordered custom hunter green stair treads on March 7, 2023. The total cost was $348.72. They said it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery. I never received the treads. After a few emails back and forth, they stopped responding to me and have not returned my calls. I'm asking for a refund from Stair Treads.
