Today research is telling me that the business was a scam/pyramid scheme and that the products were not what was described to me. I was told I was being charged for a background check and that I will be provided a job with salary pay. Because of the significant misrepresentation and misleading information I received, I am requesting that you refund me the $125 application fee and delete/shred my personal information (PII). My agent code was 94MTE

I would like a refund of my $125.00 that I paid on 4/6/2023. I would also additionally like all of my personal information be erased from WFG platform and any associates. This is a pyramid scheme and I am not interested in pursuing any further.

Wfg is a great company that provided me products from reputable ****************************** companies. Im properly insured. Debts managed. Investments (TFSA/RRSP) growing. I looked into mixed reviews online & discovered the pattern of negative reviews mainly comes from people who dont understand they a starting a business. The industry requires a regulated licensed which will cost money. Part of that licensing cost is the $125. Joining Wfg means your starting a business. Not a job.

This company has been such a blessing to me and my family. Our advisor has assisted us with getting our finances in order, getting out of debt, protecting our families, and saving for retirement. I am so thankful I was introduced to WFG!

I would like a refund on the $125 background check fee that paid for on 03/24/2023. After misleading me into thinking I would be advising people with their finances, we rushed through filling out my information and paid to register. I will not moving forward with the company and need it financially. I have been reading about the company and do not like some of the things have read.************

I would be aware of these people and this WFG company. I was contacted from a recruiter for a possible position and was told I would have to pay 160$ for onboarding which was course fees for the exam to become licensed and for a background check. I set up a date to do this but then I wondered where I applied upon searching for my application I could not find it so it sparked concern. And this to me did not seem legit. I was told I would be working for myself just not by myself. Everything was with zoom and was contacted via text mesg and gmail which the company Transamerica does not uses gmails. Now ik this is WFG but I was told stuff about Transamerica so I assumed I would be representing Transamerica! WRONG! I was found by recruiter from zip recruiter website I never met the mentor I would work for nor was I in contact with her besides one time! I have no idea what she even looks like. I was told that I would gain my clients from the people i love that want to see me succeed and then I would turn them over to my mentor to rebrand and then I would get referrals from them! Nothing on HOW I would do this like from my phone with my own computer any equipment shipped to me or anything. No benefits discussed besides the commissions and how that worked. When I asked her about it she gave me Transamerica website to look for myself! RED FLAG to me, she seemed very pushy to get my money FIRST before I even trained or anything meetings with the mentor and she said the mentor was very very busy and she doesnt just send anyone over to her for onboarding! Just be aware with this WORLD FINANCIAL GROUP and the recruiters I was told I was one of MANY that had this same issue or concerns! The recruiter was out of SC. The people I joined the zoom with just didnt seem to be legit. I honestly dnt know where Transamerica came into play after the recruiter explaining what I would do! Be AWARE and be CAREFUL. Please erase my info WFG!!!!!!!! I WOULD RATE THIS WAY BELOW 0!

I was led to believe I would be trained to be a financial advisor. When I told the direct I already run a business 60+ hours a week, he was beaming. I'm not surprised after what would follow. After misleading me into thinking I would be advising people with their finances, we rushed through filling out my information and paid to register. I figured it was like a **** job and I'd be trained and it would be legitimately something I could do on my weekends after my other business tasks to pay down some of my business debts. No mention of refund policies, no discussing terms, nothing important mentioned until the day after I paid registration. Like I said, I was led to believe this was similar to a standard **** side career, and that the fee was associated with having my background check ran among other things. I felt hurt when I realized this was an MLM, and that my focus would need to be selling life insurance and "building my team". I'm building real business's that don't rely on a reverse funnel. Had I known the primary focus was multi-level marketing, I wouldn't have even participated in the first call, but my cousin hid the full truth from me and mentioned nothing about MLM, and I feel ignorant for not researching the company first and gave my cousin the benefit of the doubt. I cut them off, because I have my own family and a real business to run. Easy money is for lazy scammers. I asked for a refund when all the beans were spilled and was told tough luck. I'd like my $125 back, I don't care how many figures my business makes, there's a principal I hold with doing honest business, whether its $1.25 or $1,250 you always inform the customer of the terms, and that's what I was; a customer to bring in more customers. I'm disappointed that the U.S. and neighboring countries allow businesses like this to operate.
