I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an account I recently opened through one of your agents. Unfortunately, this process was not conducted with full transparency, and I am requesting the immediate cancellation of the account and a full refund of the $157 payment.Key Details:Account Opened: June 14, 2025 Confirmation Received: June 16, 2025 Amount Charged: $157 (Payment still pending)Nature of Complaint:The agent who facilitated the account opening did not disclose all relevant information prior to my agreement and payment. Specifically:The full nature of the role and obligations under WFG was not explained. There was no clear disclosure regarding WFG's multilevel marketing (MLM) structure.I was misled into believing this was a client-based financial advisory opportunity, when in fact the focus seems to be on recruiting others into the business model.I explicitly informed the agent that I was not interested in MLM yet I was still encouraged to proceed under misleading premises. I now realize this opportunity is not aligned with my professional goals or values. When I contacted the agent to request a refund, I was told that they cannot process it and that the amount is non-refundable. As the payment is still pending, and considering the lack of informed consent, I believe I am entitled to a refund.Request:Immediate cancellation of the account opened under my name.Full refund of the $157 paid.Written confirmation of the cancellation and refund processing.I am extremely disappointed in this experience and would appreciate your prompt attention to resolving this matter professionally. Please treat this communication as formal notice of complaint and take any necessary compliance measures to prevent future occurrences of this nature.

Dear Better Business Bureau. I am writing to formerly file a complaint against World Financial Group (WFG) to request an assistance in obtaining a refund of $125.00 that I paid to them on May 19th, 2025, and for all of my information to be taken down from their website including my SSN, name, phone number and address. They told me the program was about professional training and educational opportunities. However, after researching carefully, the company appears to be a multi-level marking or pyramid scheme system. The emphasis of this program was more on recruiting others and paying additional fees then providing a real financial education or values. I am seeking back the amount that was paid to them and don't want to involve myself in any way further. I am a recent college graduate and I can't afford to spend this much money on an illegitimate business. If this is not resolved through me talking to the business I will dispute the $125 charge with my bank. Thank you for your time and support.

Hi BBB, I'm making a complaint to the World Financial Group and am seeking out a full refund of $125 paid to them on May 31st, 2025. It was an impulsive payment and it all happened too quickly. Not to mention, the recruiter had me share to them my private information, including SSN, address, and other details, and their approach in seeking out new recruits is super predatory, basically sweet talking recruits into paying into their recruitment process only to then be derogatory towards them for wanting to opt out. The business had initially said that I wouldn't even need to be an agent in order to get paid to help recruit new agents, but fast forward, they had me pay that $125 agent fee and an additional $10 and $29.95 in pre-licensing course fees to **************. I wasn't even aware about the organization itself until after we were on the payment screen (until then, I thought that the company itself was called *************************). It's a multi-level marketing scheme that I want no part of and I would like my money back. From my understanding, I was told that there was nothing they could do on their end to issue me a refund, so I'm requesting it here.

I was talked in to applying for a contractor role by a acquaintance with no time to decide. Afterwards I found out they're a *** company which I would like not to be involved with. However I gave them sensitive information like my social security number, I would like for all my personal information to be deleted from their database to resolve this dispute.

The business was represented on 29/05 2025, as a personal venture by a single mother. She presented the opportunity to join her team only after a bogus presentation of financial literacy. It was not that but I was interested in the aspect of licensing. When I paid 125$, on 29/05, transaction id: ********, they said this is for licensing and an admin fee and a background check. When I asked for the presentation to be sent to me they refused as proprietary information. As I had just signed a docusign NDA, I did not understand why the pitch could not be sent to me for review. There was at least 1/2 the presentation hadnt been covered. When I had many more questions they set up a follow up meeting and didnt have time to answer in the same day. When I could not find a breakdown of fees in the paperwork, I asked for it to be terminated immediately, in writing, less than 24h later. I received no response. I called my bank and they could not dispute the transaction because it had not posted yet. When I followed up with the *** **** she set a meeting for the following week and pledged to personally reimburse me because this was non refundable. She has not answered how many persons on her team work FT at ***/her company, nor has she answered my question signing initially, which was how could a debt balance accrue for an associate who is neither employee nor yet licenced, therefore unable to make a commission or sell any products. I request a timely processing of refund and immediate termination of the docusign I can no longer access because the link in my email has expired.

Hello,I hope this message finds you well.I wanted to reach out regarding the financial literacy class I signed up for through World Financial Group. When I enrolled, I did so with the understanding based on my conversation with **** **** that the course would focus on financial literacy, specifically budgeting, which I had asked about. **** assured me that budgeting, along with other financial education topics, would be covered. However, once I began the class, the experience was very different from what I was expecting. The first session was primarily someone sharing a personal story and discussing an IUL. As the weeks went on (seven classes in), it became clear that the sessions mostly consisted of testimonials from other representatives about their experiences with **** not structured financial literacy education or budgeting instruction.Additionally, when I joined, the class was already underway. I asked if I could start from the beginning to have a better learning experience, but I was only provided pre-recorded links, which didnt meet my expectations for a live or structured course. When I voiced my concerns, I was offered a Zoom meeting to discuss it, but instead of addressing the issue, another representative joined and shared another personal story. I was also informed that my payment was non-refundable.I am kindly requesting a refund of the $125, as I feel the course was not accurately represented. I signed up in good faith, looking for structured financial literacy and budgeting classes, and unfortunately, that was not what was delivered. For your reference, I have attached a copy of my receipt, the message exchange between **** and me, and a flyer that was used to advertise one of the classes I attended.Thank you very much for your time and for looking into this. I appreciate your help and understanding.

Subject: Request for Refund and Complaint Against World Financial Group (WFG)Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally file a complaint against World Financial Group (WFG) and to request assistance in obtaining a refund of $157.50 that I paid to them.I joined *** with the understanding that I would be receiving professional training and a legitimate business opportunity. However, after further involvement and review, I became increasingly concerned about their business model. The structure appears to strongly resemble a multi-level marketing or pyramid-style system, though it is presented in a manner that attempts to avoid such classification. The emphasis was placed far more on recruiting others and paying additional fees than on providing real financial education or value.I feel misled and disappointed, especially as I was not made fully aware of these dynamics before making my payment. I have since requested a refund from ***, but they have not provided it.I am respectfully requesting the BBB to intervene on my behalf to help secure a refund of the $157.50. I am simply seeking to recover the amount paid for a service that did not meet expectations or reflect what was initially represented.Thank you for your time and support in resolving this matter.
