    I submitted a phone via BackMarket that then sent to Decluttr. I then get this "Hello. We have put your order on hold as we have not come across your package. At times our manifest will show a package as delivered but it is not actually with us due to *** not loading onto the trailer. We will keep an eye out for your package and when it is delivered we will process ASAP! If it does not turn up, you may reach out to BackMarket in order for them to start a loss claim. They will provide us with a document to sign confirming that no package was delivered. Apologies for the delay."I am told I must file a police report, upload more documents etc. I do file a police report but getting a copy is hard as they are backed up. My issue.The optics feel dishonest, even if I am mistaken 1) Quote a good price 2) I send in 3) *** states it is delivered.4) Refurbisher claims it is not 5) I do not have a phone or reimbursement 6) Audit trail shows it got there, it is refurbished (decluttr) who misplaced it.7) So, why is the onus on me to file all this paperwork?8) It is tracked to them, audit trail suggests they are in possession, they then lost, should not they file paperwork and police report.There is something afoot.

    I would give negative 5 stars if I could. Completely untrustworthy company. I submitted multiple items, with one being downgraded by $230, due to incorrect "grading." They graded the item as a ******* Locked device, when it had never been used on the ******* network and was purchased unlocked directly from Apple. Trying to resolve this has been a complete nightmare, with missed promises and repeated notes of "This has been addressed and you will received full payment in 48hrs," only to have no payment. I strongly recommend finding somewhere else to trade-in your used devices!!

    From looking into this, I can see that our **************** Team escalated for a re-test of your device, which confirmed the item was unlocked. The reduced price was then paid, with the remainder of the original offer sent separately to ensure you received the correct amount for the device we received.

    I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused due to this, and can assure you that we have paid the correct amount via 2 separate payments for this item.

    I am a first time user of **********************. I should have come here to read the reviews beforehand. I was quoted a fair amount for my iphone 13 pro ($620) as long as it was shipped within 28 days. It was shipped within 28 days but they refused to accept delivery for an additional 3 days after it was delivered and pushed it over the 28 day limit which according to their T&Cs gave them the ability to modify the trade in offer to $290. They sent an automated email telling me to accept or decline the offer within 14 days. When you go to their website, it doesn't actually allow you to decline the offer, likely so they can scam you for their low ball offer. Their T&Cs say if you don't accept or decline the offer within 14 days, they'll automatically accept the lowball offer on your behalf and send you the money. I've contacted support 3 times via email and I've repeatedly called the listed phone number but its a dead line. I just want my initial $620 offer, or my phone back in the original condition it was sent in. I have photos of my device showing it is in excellent condition before shipping it to them. My order number is *******

    I am very sorry to hear of the issues you have been facing in relation to your order.

    From looking into this, I can see that the order was placed on 12th September, however the item did not arrive in our warehouse, and was not delivered by the courier until 11th October. This was 29 days after the order was placed, and as per our terms and conditions, "If we do not receive and process your items in this period, we may revalue your items." 

    On this occasion, the item was not delivered within the required 28 day timeframe, and therefore the item was revised accordingly. 

    As you rejected the reduced price we were able to offer for the item, the device has been returned back to you via *** with the tracking number 1Z867E8W0393424262.

    I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused however from reviewing this, the item did not arrive with us in time and therefore the original price was no longer valid.

    Avoid this company. Scam. Sent my items to decluttred, packaged well with bubble wrap. When it arrived, they messaged me they had received package. 2 weeks later I dont hear anything so I follow up. They message me back apologizing for the delay saying there were items missing from the package. This is a lie. They stole my items and they have not responded to my follow up.

    I am a first time Decluttr customer and I am disappointed. I sold my devices to declutter in hopes of paying for new devices, but apparently one of my devices was only "good" even thought it was in a case for the year I owned it. I have received no updates other than this and worries I am not going to receive my money. Very disappointing business practices.

    From looking into this, I can see that your order was for 3 items. 2 of these arrived in the same condition as you described them, however the iPhone 14 Pro *** was found to match our "Good" condition specification, due to light wear and tear present on the device.

    "Excellent" condition, as selected by yourself indicates the item is in flawless cosmetic condition with no signs of wear or marks at all.

    I am very sorry for any disappointment however we must ensure the condition specification we select accurately matches the device we receive.

    Do NOT use this company!! Complete scam of bait and switch tactics to get you to buy an iphone. Decluttr quotes one price for the return of your old one while purchasing with them, then gives you a MUCH lower quote once they receive the item, with claims of damage which are complete lies. Yes, I have video and photos of my product prior to sending to them. They had originally offered $109 for my phone, then claimed it had a scratch so they could only offer me $27. My phone looked new, so they are full of it and hoping you will just take their new 80% lower offer. Umm, no thanks.

    What a joke. I sent a phone that in excellent state. It was valued at $306. The response was a reassessment of value, claiming my phone was full of scratches (not true). This company is just looking for suckers that will accept any price once they have your item in their power. I will not be one of those suckers, I requested a return. Let's see how long it takes them to return my item...

    BBB, allow us to leave zero-star review. The worst experience ever. It's even in my order email that all orders are supposed to be processed within a day or so but not a single update for 3+ days ever since my order arrived at their warehouse. How could they not even have a single reachable contact number? Live chat agents are of no help as they just reiterate same thing over and over like mockingbirds, "If you don't hear any updates by the end of tomorrow, reach us out again.." I'm just sick of that bot-like responses. Stay away from them. Don't even consider the as a last resort.

    From looking into your order, I can see that the item arrived with us, and was processed the next day. The item was accepted for the full original offer and therefore we completed the order and payment was processed yesterday.

    We generally advise allowing 3-5 business days for the payment to be received.
