      Don't go to America's Best. Their policies are so stringent and not accommodating for a working family. They completed wasted our money and time, don't waste yours!

      If the system allow me to give them not even one star i will. This is my story. I ordered 2 pair of glasses, one for work and one normal, when I received the glasses for work I can not read anything with them, after different things they tried, they concluded that because the curvature or shape of the glasses it can not be fixed. I used the second pair for a while and realized that I see everything distorted in the left side, I realized that after I started suffering headache in my left side, suddenly I closed my right side eye an I can read normal, but when I close my right eye I saw all distorted. I when back to the store at ***********, ***** and after I explained the whole thing and they tried different things on my glasses they concluded that I have to take the exam again and pay for everything. There is no way for me to pay again for the same mistakes. It does not make sense at all

      Former employee:Wish I could do NO STARS!!!I do not recommend this company they harassed me during my high risk pregnancy. I was diagnosed with HG. Tried to bully me into going against medical advice. At one point had 5 women from HR trying to get me to go against what my OB advised. They didnt stop until I told them Id report them to the ***** And contacted the head of the HR department for National Vision.

      Terrible experience. They work with traps and lies. Initially I asked about the promotions that they advertise everywhere, then I asked for price details, adding what the promotion did not include, I thought it was good so I made an appointment for the exam. Once you take the exam, they have you in their hands and the dilemma begins. I dont know if the girl who helped me was lost or they do it on purpose, they give you a price and when they enter the system, its another. I finally ended up paying a lot more than I was initially told. When I went to pick up my glasses, I absolutely couldnt see at all with them and instead of making polycarbonate lenses as I had ordered, they made them plastic. They said I had ordered them plastic, which was not true. My husband, who was with me all the time, intervened to insist that they did not do what we ordered and worse they did not take care of me, therefore we were not going to accept the glasses and we wanted a full refund. At that time they said that the exam was no longer free because the promotion was with the glasses purchase. They did not refund the charge for the exam, they said that if I brought them a different prescription, they would refund it. I went to another place, I have my new glasses with which I see perfectly, I brought them the correct prescription to her my refund but then they said that more than 30 days have passed. I reminded them that I made my claim on time and Im doing what they asked, it didnt help at all, they wont refund me because its a service they provided even though the prescription was wrong. Its a robbery. How is it possible that they have the nerve to charge for a bad exam after all this unfortunate story for a terrible service? Dont fall into the trap, what they do is dishonest.

      If zero stars were an option, Id choose that. Its been over three months, and my elderly client still hasnt received their glasses. The customer service has been unhelpful throughout, and the district manager made promises that were never kept. Very disappointing experience.

      I went to Americas Best for an exam & new glasses Dec 27, 2024. Due to not being able to make my lenses to the correct prescription, I have still not received them as of May 26, 2025. My prescription as been sent out 6 + times, including 3 + times after a suggestion by the optician to select different frames to see if that might have the lab make them correctly. Because I used my ******** Advantage plan from 2024, this benefit cannot be used again at a different retailer. My only option according to America Best is to use my 2024 benefit through them. Of course, they have already received money from my insurance company even though I have never received my glasses with the proper prescription. So, I lose out on a $500 benefit because American Best lab is worthless. In their words, we see no reason to send the lab the prescription again since they have already had so many times to make them correctly and they cant. I need someone to step in and make this right. Beware to everyone else who receives their glasses from them. Theres a excellent chance that you are not receiving the prescribed prescription.

      I went to *******'s best less than a year ago and I had to get new glass because my old frame were hurting my ears and the side of my head. When I looked at the frams the color was flacking off and the metal was rusted. My replacement frames are junk and they don't fit me right now how many times I got them fixed. I went to another store and they told me most of their customers came from *******'s best with the same problem even when the customer had designer frames. I would never recommend them to anyone it just not worth the money for the junk that you get.

      If I can pick 0 stars I would. After waiting OVER 3 months for my Elderly Clients glasses we have yet to receive them. Terrible customer service. Dont believe the district manager either full of empty promises. Sad

      ZERO STARS….. after my ELDERLY client has waited, for over 3 MONTHS FOR HER GLASSES. WE STILL HAVE NOT HAD ANY ANSWERS. THEY HANG UP THE PHONE. Speak nasty to us EVEN DISTRICT MANAGER *********. Will not help US. DO NOT GO HERE BAD BUISNESS IVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BAD AT AN EYEGLASS PLACE !!
