      The people at Americas best was friendly, very knowledgeable and patient with me. I used to go to ******* thinking I was getting a deal, but I got a better deal much quicker and more helpful. I will be buying all my glasses from Americas best from now on.

      If I could have given 0 stars I would. They allowed me to make an appointment, KNOWING my daughter's date of birth, & waited until I drove from out of town to the appointment to tell me they can't see her due to her age. They said" it's *********** preference". Not a requirement, a preference. The girl at the front desk first asked me if Im self pay or insurance, once I told her insurance was ********* she said she had to ask the doctor something. When she came back, she told me she couldnt be seen due to her age and had no empathy for the situation, the ** walked by while I was talking and asking to speak to her & said nothing, rolling her eyes at the situation as if I couldnt see her. They are awful with no empathy or concern for their patients. A preference? I made the appointment, completed all the pre appointment paperwork, and no where in the process did someone call or advise an age limit for appointments. That is absolutely absurd and was a complete waste of ************ used for gas to get there. I even told them I came from out of town and with a smile on her face, she said they cant accept her. I felt discriminated against because of my earlier mention about the type of insurance my daughter has and my daughter was so disappointed, also sad because she has had a hard time being able to see in school. This is not a way to run a business or maybe they should get rid of the doctor with a preference or update their website to note age restrictions. Worst customer experience I have EVER had in life.

      I went to the one at University in ****, **- Told the lady when I came in I had insurance- So as I was looking for it she said I found it- Guess what she didn't find nothing- They swore me down my insurance cover this and that and still came out my pocket Paying $200 including the exam- Now my insurance covers exams and one pair of glasses a year- She charge me for something that I had insurance for- I think her name is ***** might be wrong- She should've just let me look for my insurance instead of lying saying she found it- They guy who did my glasses lied too- Bunch of liars in their!! wonder if I can get a refund for my glasses and go somewhere who take insurance- Wish I could put -0

      I've been buying my glasses from *******'s Best for several years now and haven't had any issues until the last two times. The time before the previous, I was overcharged for the "Free Eye Exam + 2 Pairs of Glasses for *****", but I thought maybe it was just an error. I went again recently for the "Free Eye Exam + 2 Pair of Glasses for *****" and was overcharged again. They seem to give you the free eye exam, but charge you full price for both pairs of glasses. This makes the promotion a lie and, therefore, a scam. You need to be transparent about that upfront with customers and stop saying that one can get a free eye exam and two pairs of glasses for ***** when that is false. And yes, I picked glasses from the correct ones, I double-checked with staff both times.

      I had an eye exam with them. They gladly took my money, but required that I return for my contacts fitting. They didn't have "any contacts in stock". 1 week later, I've heard nothing. No follow-up on my order, nothing. I've called half a dozen times (no answer). You will actually hear them pick up the phone and place you on hold - each time. One time, I tried to see how long they would hold me, and I finally hung up after 1.5 hours. I've also called their corporate office and was on hold for 45+ mins before hanging up.

      My first time in 30 years to have a eye exam. The employee ******* who was doing the exam did not at all explain anything to me besides the basics. He told me to read the chart and as I did he said no I need you to read the clearest line. He them had me sit at the machines and again was not talking me through it or yelling me what to expect. I asked him if he knew what he was doing and he told me to lower my voice. I was not yelling at him, I was being direct. A lady came in and told him that for some test he was in the process of going to take he needed to know he couldn't be sitting down. He then acted distracted. During this process a bright light flashed in my right eye and I thought something happened w the machine. I asked again more questions and he huffed and turned his head and told me it was part of the test that the light went off in my eye. I then got up and walked out and he had the nerve to say I wasn't listening to the instructions. WHAT INSTRUCTIONS? He wasn't giving me instructions clearly or trekking me what to expect. I needed this appt because I have double vision and I'm worried. If this is why **** offer your exams at a cheap price then I would suggest raising the price so you can afford better quality employees. For the record your customer service was great. The ladies were very nice to me. Please consider telling ******* to walk customer through the process and explain to them what to expect through the process. I will find another eye ** now but I thought you would want to know about this experience. I am not well so it takes everything for me to even get up and follow through w appts. I believe w better training ******* would be great at what he's studying to do. Thank you and have a great day.

      If I could leave zero stars, I would. The doctor never showed up for my appointment. **************** was horrible. Was about to get contacts glasses, transition, lenses, and so forth. None of the employees even asked if they could help assist me in finding glasses maybe while I waited on the doctor. No one said anything. They left me sit there For almost a For almost an hour as if they were helping someone elseThey lost my business for Life. I do not recommend this place at all like I said zero stars in my opinion.

      I've had to replace my lenses every 56 months due to scratches, an issue that has persisted since COVID. I rinse them with water and clean them with **** dish soap, yet they continue to scratch easily. A team member even admitted that this is a common problem. It feels like the lenses are designed to wear out quickly, forcing customers to repurchase frequently. While this may not be an issue for those with vision insurance, it becomes extremely costly for those without it.

      If you want to be seriously aggravated by the worst possible customer service experience and treated rudely by the manager, this is the place for you! Found a pair of frames I liked (the only good thing that happened) and was told they don't sell the ones on display as other customers have tried them on, etc. Could order and it would take 2 to 3 days for them to come in. I checked back after a week and a half since no word, and was told I must have misunderstood (their FIRST 'excuse') and that it takes 2 to 3 weeks. I waited 4 wks & 5 days-called and was told the frames still not in and would have a manager call me. The manage, ***** did call & said that they did have the frames. They came in a weeks and a half ago, but accidently got put on display. She said that the manufacturer doesn't clearly mark them when sent in with a person's name as to who ordered them, but rather marks them as 'replenish'. Another 'excuse'. I said I would come and pick them up. She said to ask for her. When I got there she was taking care of other people, so I asked the lady at the desk to please just get my frames and give them to me. ***** ***** me & said that I would have to wait for her as I had to sit down with her. I asked why since I already paid for the frames 4 1/2 weeks ago, and it was their mistake. Also, I was only picking up the frames, not getting lenses from them so no need to discuss, just have someone hand me my frames. ***** got rather loud at that point & said I would have to be patient because I MUST sit down with her, directing me to sit in a waiting room full of people. I again said, just have someone hand me the frames (there were two people working the front desk who were not with anyone, so they could easily have done so). She continued to be rude, so I told her in front of the customers what I thought of her 'reviews' (very poor) and started to walk out-she was shouting at me so I told her what she could do to herself & left. WORST EVER !

      America's Best in *********** is absolutely the worst business I have ever been to... they completely ripped me off! I bought and paid for glasses, sun glasses and contacts from them... I paid over $600.00 there ..The sun glasses I can't see very well out of so I told them and asked for my contacts... they told me I only purchased the trial ones... when in fact they talked me into the daily most expensive ones... unfortunately for me.. this was my first time buying contacts... they will not refund my money for the contacts.. I will now have to take them to court to get my money back... I asked them." Then what did I purchase?". What ever it was cost me over $200.00. be very aware of America's Best Eyeglasses.... this business is extremely fraudulent!!
