Recently purchased a home, Direct Mail somehow got ahold of my information including the lender as well as loan amount. They then sent a snail mail to my new home marked "Second Notice/Time Sensitive". Inside was a request for "Final Mortgage Notice Complete and Return" asking for my personal information DOB, where I worked, occupation, and my phone number

DMN aka records division aka DMP, or whatever next name they come up with to avoid detection, claims they are a middle-man mailing company and not a scam. This is a bold faced lie (Obviously the *** or Social security office is not going to use some pathetic private mail company in ******** to send government mail..) They run a scheme so the scammers themselves arent directly linked to their own mail. A little research will reveal pages upon pages of proof that this is a scam operation seeking your personal info. Research will show everything from forum discussions to numerous media outlets and news stories warning people about them. My own mother was about to be a victim before I looked into them. I vote that everyone start sending the return address junk mail in return. These people deserve to bypass prison time and just be given old west justice. Nothing worse than these sleaze bags.

Spam mail stating I opened a mortgage with them. They are phishing for my information and trying to steal money. I also worry about this affecting my credit report. Business should be stopped and people arrested.

I received a letter envelope that had records division from ******** ********** the sender. It was red stamped second notice time sensitive. Important document enclosed above the window that had my address and name. Inside was a piece of mail that stated as a resident ******* you were *********** more benefits not provided by government funds. Along with some more information says please respond by January 4th. And then it asked me to complete and return the information of my name, my spouse's name, address, age and phone number. I continue to receive what I would call to be fraudulent mail. Is obvious based on the repetitive nature of the mailings that they are very interested in getting a response. At the very bottom of the correspondence it states to opt out of future mailings to visit a certain website and enter a nine digit code. I entered the website into my browser it stated that it was not safe to continue to that site. I want these mailings to stop and for this company to be investigated. I plan on reporting this to the ****

By way of background, Direct Mail Processing, LLC (DMP)is a company that provides mail services to commercial entities that market products and services to the public. DMP acts as the intermediary between marketing companies and mail houses that send and receive consumer mailers. DMP does not sell or endorse the products or services referenced in the mailers.

However, DMP has not processed any mailers since October 2022. An unrelated entity, Direct Mail Network, LLC (DMN) now provides this service.

We understand that receiving unwanted mail can be frustrating. To aid consumers, mailers processed by DMP and/or DMN include Opt-Out instructions (by phone and/or secure online sites ************************* and *************************).

While DMP had nothing to do with this particular mailer,DMP has added ***************************** name and mailing address to their Do Not Contact database. DMP has confirmed that DMN added ***************************** name and mailing address to their Do Not Contact database as well.

Please note: Adding your name to our Do Not Contact list will ensure you do not receive mailers that are processed by DMN. However, you may still receive similar mailers from other mail houses or direct mail processing service providers.

I've received letters from "Direct Mail Network, LLC" with "FINAL NOTICE" written in red across the envelope. I am on disability and struggling to make ends meet, so seeing this gave me a panic attack. After about an hour when I calmed down I opened it. It's asking for information for ********** personal information such as my SS#, full name, email, age, etc. This is NOT from ********* nor would they ask any of this information in this manner. I've called and spoken with DCF about this and they assured me it is NOT from ******** or any state assistance office. How is this legal?!?!
