After having a pretty bad day, I decided to get food at the only place left open. Waffle House in *********, **....Once I ordered my food to-go, because they weren't allowing dine in, I sat down in a booth to wait on my food. *******, told me we weren't allowed to sit in the booth. We had to sit in a chair they lined up by the window in the middle of all the customers coming in to order. Me as a veteran, not liking to sit or stand in the middle of crowds of strangers I continued to sit in the booth. One waitress said my wife and I were fine. ******* continued to fuss and tell me to move. I finally told her just give me my money back, and I would be on my way. As she was giving my money back she continued to try to fuss with me. I do apologize to her, because I said some things I shouldn't have. However, just because someone waits for the food sitting on the edge of the booth does not warrant treatment like I received. I went to the store and bought a bag of chips as my only meal for the day, as oppose to giving my money to a business like this. There are no reparations that can be made. No solutions. And Waffle House website "Contact" page is blank. So for them to respond I haven't used it...I tried. Fix your website.Waffle House

This is nothing more than a place to get terrible service and robbed left and right. You have a meal listed at $6 and change but you go to leave it'll be $11 they say oh well we're charging a 10% gratuity or 10% to go tax and all I'm trying to figure out is why I'm paying that if I'm eating here. Why is it cost me $3 more for the exact same meal a day later The only thing that change was the server bringing my food. I will never go back again. Horrible service horrible food overcharged with no explanation and no donation on the receipt as the actual cost of food and what they are just extra adding to your bill because they want toWaffle House

They are price gouging to go orders!!!! They will not answer phones there was one customer in ********************. And charging extra for to go orders!! Plus adding gratuity on to go orders.Waffle House

Unfortunately, we have no record of this guest contacting Waffle House directly via our website Contact Form regarding her concerns, therefore affording us an opportunity to address her concerns prior to her review with the Better Business Bureau.Waffle House has had a long standing, posted policy notifying customers of our 10% Service Charge on all to-go orders. Unfortunately, due to rising costs in *************** due to inflation, we had to implement an additional 10% Supply Fee for all to-go orders. Signage was posted in our restaurants for several weeks prior to the Supply Fee going in to effect, and is still posted in our restaurants. I was denied a to go order by the manager who stated "to go orders take away from the customers who are dining in". I've been ordering from this location for years and I never had a problem. This occurred on Thursday 1/19/23 around 11:30am. It definitely wasn't busy at all and there was more than enough staff. All customers had already been served and staff was just standing around. He told me that he could serve me if I dine but not to go. This is discrimination especially if the store isn't busy. I will never spend money here again. If the ***************** Team or franchise owner of the location feels a staffing shortage and/or inexperience of newly hired Associates will hinder the customers experience, they may choose to temporarily close a unit, close-off sections or seats, offer to-go only service, not accept orders over the phone, offer a limited menu, ***** an Associates request to work alone in order to complete prep and/or cleaning assignments, etc. These decisions are made on a local level based on their staffing reality. This place is horrible! Its always to go orders only. Or they have sign on door to go which was fine, BUT they said not taking orders until 3rd shift comes in. DO NOT hang a sign on door saying to go orders if you are not willing take them!Waffle House

The blonde haired woman behind the counter gave us dirty looks when we walked in. She told us it would be about 10 minutes or so to get seated. Ok. Well. Their were 4 empty booths at the time. While we were still waiting 2 other people walked in and got seated right away. We used to go there quite often. That mistake won't happen again.Waffle House

Upon entering in the Waffle House establishment, ******* daughter was not greeted. Cashier WM was completing a prior order as we approached & stood at the register. She proceeded to say one moment, continued to staple receipts together then took my order. I ordered 2 cheesesteak bowls and an additional waffle. Cashier printed a receipt that did not confirm my order. When the meal was ready, the cashier advised a worker to hand me the order. A worker named ******* was very polite and handed my order to me. Not to mention she assisted another customer with cheerful delivery. I retrieved my order and proceeded to my vehicle. When I checked my food the waffles were missing. I went back in to advise I didnt receive my waffles & the cashier said she thought I ordered water. I understood a mistake was made however I never received a cup for water, which would have made me aware my order was received incorrectly. Food was prepared upon request & was delicious upon arriving home. All in all the food was good & the cashier attitude was tasteless, I may not go backWaffle House

I went to Waffle House on *************** lastnight 12/11/2022 at 11:25 pm and I was charged ***** for a T-bone steak meal, two kids meals and a burger. The burger was super small with nothing in it. The woman taking my order was horrible at taking my order and I tried to ask the other girl if she could double check behind her because my total seemed to be off. She said my total is high because they charge you a fee for not dining in. When I got home I realized they charged my card 44 dollars this is ridiculous and I want something done about it. I called corporate and the only way to file a complaint is through the actual website and the website glitches in and out and you can barely file a proper complaint nor do they get back with you because a similar situation happened to me at this same Waffle House a few months ago and nobody ever got back with me. Its sad that this is the closest Waffle House by my house. We are already struggling as citizens and you are taking our money too!Waffle House

The manager of the ***************** waffle House (******) keeps that restaurant like a shithole. Half the tables in the restaurant are closed. Two are left dirty all the time so nobody can sit there. The floor was disgusting. Customers out the door. Nothing cooking on the grill. Nobody has any food and everyone that works there. Standing around talking. ****** is rude and useless. Get some new management.Waffle House

On Sunday I went to the Waffle House on northside Dr after going to 2 others, this was the only location I could get inside the door. My friend and I purchased a to go order $25. No wait time was given but it wasnt as busy for to go orders but the dine in was packed. After waiting 30 mins, the inside cleared out and I decided to have a seat at the bar. Nobody was waiting to be seated everybody was waiting on to go orders. At this point instead of complaining like others I waited at the bar and was told that the manager said if we were not dining I couldnt sit there. My feet and back were hurting for waiting over 40 mins. The supposed manager told me to get my a** out her section. She said I needed to get the f*** up cause I act like I cant hear. She said the conversations were being recorded and they could hear everything she was saying. Her name is Centerria Im not sure if Im spelling it right. Tried to call corporate and they said you have to do a contact us form on the website which could not be done so I did one via ******** and no one has called yet. She was very rude. All the servers were using profanity that day. One server was scratching her head while waiting on food. The cook was cooking so much bacon that he had it just sitting on the counter. The servers were packing food where all the customers were waiting for their to go orders. The mask the servers had on was under their nose so they were breathing on food. But the way this so called manager curse at me was unbelievable and it was like she dared me to call corporate because she knew nothing would be done and this is why Im writing this review.Waffle House

Our records indicate the customer was contacted by the Division Manager who felt she adequately addressed the customer's concerns.Based on this review, we have asked the Division Manager to contact the customer again via the phone number she provided when entering her comments online.
