This company continues to take money out of my bank account after I have discontinued their services. They are charging me $69.08 as well as some sort of $4 fee. They are in conjunction with a health care savings plan that passes themselves off as insurance. I had them for 1 month and canceled all of it , but this part continues to come out of my account. Most recently this week on the **** ** ****. I don't feel I should have to pay the bank a fee to block them when I have asked for a discontinuation of services. I would like my money back, but more so, I want them to.stop taking my money out of my account.Business Response

I do not understand why money is being removed from my bank account every month for $4.00 for the last year and a half to two years. I did not sign up for any services at your company nor do I need any services from your company. Please remove me from any list that I may be on pertaining to your company and or cancel any services that I may have accidentally signed up for with your company though I’m not sure of any services that I may have inadvertently placed with your company. I originally did an application for a policy for my dad with Legacy Assurance, after the agent submitted his application he did not qualify for the policy due to one of his medications. Legacy continues to bill me a $4.00 monthly fee. I have reached out to them including emails and still continue to get billed. I have never had a policy with the company to be considered a member.Business Response

Misled and under the wrong impression that this monthly charge was life insurance to cover towards funeral costs and not merchadise for funeral related urns/caskets and or funeral home selection. I'm a vet and want this cancelled immediately. And opt out of any solicitation from this company. I have no need for this. Further, after paying for an extended period of time the monthly amount could have been used to offset the going rate of an urn. ******* ** *** ***** **** ****** the consumers signed up with ****** **** *********. She called and had it canceled they signed her up as a member of Legacy Assurance without her consent. The consumer states Legacy Assurance takes $4.00 out of her account monthly and they said due to policy they will not refund her.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out to us. Legacy Assurance and the insurance company are two separate and distinct entities. We must be notified of cancellation if the client decides they no longer want this membership. We have a signed application authorizing the $4 monthly transaction. We were notified of cancellation on **********. As of that date, this membership is no longer active and we will no longer be processing this membership. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Due to this being a membership fee and not a premium for Life insurance we are unable to refund.
