I had purchased a 2020 **** EcoSport from AutoNation **** Union City in 2022. After a few months of having that vehicle there were issues with the engine. **** had it in the shop for months. Once I got it back, there were still issues with the vehicle. They basically sold me a lemon. **** decided to give another vehicle. A 2018 **** EcoSport. After driving that vehicle for a year or so the same issues began like the previous vehicle. The oil pump went out. There's a nation wide recall on every **** EcoSport for the oil pump. The car became undrivable. Since 2022 I have not been driving the 2020 **** EcoSport. **** Union City again sold me another lemon vehicle. **** has filed a civil action for the vehicle. They have scammed me twice with the same vehicle having the same problems. They need to be stopped and face consequences.

I purchased a vehicle 12/28/23 from AutoNation Union City. Part of the agreement was an I owe you for them to complete some cosmetic work and provide a spare key. I picked my car up 1/2/24 and did not receive the spare key. I have been reaching out via phone, email, texts, and in person. I'm still left with empty promises. I just want to receive my spare key I was promised so I can be completely done with them.

On August 26th I purchased a ****** Nv2500 Cargo van. On August 28th the check engine light came on and the code was for catalytic converter. On the 29th I took the vehicle back to dealership spoke with General *********************** and AutoNation agreed to replace the catalytic converters and 02 sensors. On the 30th ***** confirmed that the car was at the shop which i later learned from the invoice he gave me that the shop was ******* and sons automotive in ******, Ga. On Sept. 2nd ***** informed me that the vehicle was ready for pick up and 2 new catalytic converters were installed and 2 new 02 sensors and produced an invoice of $3,700. On May 15th the check engine light came on again and the code was for catalytic converter. On May 23rd I got my catalytic converters replaced. It was clearly visible that the converters were older than 8 months. The mechanic and shop owner confirmed that they were much older. Additionally, they told me that the only thing that they found that was new during the process of replacing my converters and sensor were 2 of the 02 sensors. They said the 02 sensors were replaced to keep the code clear for a limited time. ***** the ** refuses to assist. All of my communication with the ** is documented through text message.

Beginning on 4/30/2024, I initiated negotiations with ******************************* and ******************************* regarding my 2013 **** Fusion. They offered a total of $3,500 for the car. Me being the honest person I am, I took the time to discuss and disclose every detail, every fault, and ***** of the car before setting and confirming my appointment. Final conversations were had 5/18/2024 in which ******************** confirmed that the amount being offered for my vehicle was still $3,500, and all I need do is to make an appointment and arrive for my check. He also clarified in conversation during the 3 week period that this was a guaranteed site-unseen. My wife and I made the appointment, drove over and hour and a half with a toddler to arrive and be insulted with an offer of $1,700 and a refusal to honor the promises made by ********************. This is manipulative, dishonest, and false advertisement on their part, and I feel they should be held to their commitments and be held accountable for their abhorrent lack of ethics and honor.

Date of NEW Vehicle Purchase: 1/29/2020 Amount paid: ********* Nature of dispute: Vehicle was delivered with milage not conducive to a new vehicle. Interior was dirty, and there were other peoples property inside the vehicle. I was told this was a 'Demo Vehicle'I am currently dealing with a lengthily list of rear end service issues that stem from the previous owner, who was issued a rental car at time of service. These issues were never fully resolved, and have now fallen upon me. My current extended warranty is in jeopardy to cover these issues due to current service techs having not believed that I had never had this vehicle serviced before this until now. It was thought that I was involved in an accident that I am covering up. My research into the *** number uncovered the fact that this was previously owned. I was charged with the full purchase price of a brand new vehicle. Due to the fact that these issues compounded from the inability to correct them with the original owner, I have no faith in these issues ever being fully resolved. Ideally, I would like the remaining balance of $16,060 refunded to back to me.

Took a 2019 F-150 to AutoNation **** in Union City in June for diagnosis and repair. We have followed up numerous times and no one can give us a status on the vehicle. We have been given numerous excuses as to why they haven't looked at it or diagnosed it yet. Last we heard, the service manager was working on it and now he supposedly no longer works there. When we asked to just come and pick it up we were told it was in parts. I have been calling for weeks now and can't get a return call. This is a Fleet Vehicle that has been out of commission for months, while I have been paying the lease fee.

My son and I drove and my car to the service center on December 13th 2023, and left it there for a Diagnostic test due to my Traction sensor light randomly coming on. My vehicle was there 2 weeks before they checked it. When the technician gave me the quote for the repairs, I declined repairs. I was told that I could pickup my car and pay the Diagnostic fee. When my son went to pick it up for me, the vehicle was unable to be driven because the light was on due to something they did to it. The technicians told my son that I brought my car in non-drivable, and would have to have it towed to my house. I had him leave it there so that I could speak to a Supervisor that would be there on Tuesday, January 2nd. When I spoke with the Supervisor in person, and explained that I should not have to have my car towed since it was drivable when I brought it to the shop, he offered to try to drive my car to my house or have it towed there, either Tuesday evening or by Wednesday evening. It is now Saturday January 6th, ****, I still do not have my vehicle back, nor have I spoken with anyone from the ******************* I would like for them to return my vehicle to the condition it was when I drove it to them, and not to ************* off their lot, and have it towed to my house at their expense. The cost of the Diagnosis testing has already been paid to them. My car has been at the Dealership for almost a month for a simple test request which unacceptable. I also feel that they should credit the price paid for the testing due to the inconvenience I've experienced.

I purchased a **** Bronco from Auto Nation on 9/22/22. On 10/4/22, I emailed Auto Nation to cancel the dent and protection plan ( both plans were $599- $1198 total). Initially, I was told I could not cancel the agreements; however, the paperwork states that the dent and protection plans are both cancelable items within the 30-day window. I decided to sell the vehicle, and Auto Nation told me I had to provide them with the payoff letter, which I did. After several emails, calls, and in-person meetings with Auto Nation representatives, I was told they submitted my information ( 10-24-22), and that I should receive a refund in ***** weeks. I've contacted Auto Nation Union City and have been getting the runaround. I contacted corporate, and I am still waiting for a resolution, I just told them they received my complaint. I have attached a timeline of the events, dent and protection plans, and emails.

On December 3rd I purchased a 2015 GMC YUKON from AutoNation in Union City, I paid $6500 cash as a down payment and the deal was (so called) approved by American Credit to finance the rest. The following week, On December 9th the vehicle stopped running and was towed back to AutoNation in Union City, where it still resides and is inoperable. I immediately requested a refund and informed them I didnt want the truckthey took several weeks to check out the truck and then said an warranty adjuster had to be calledAfter several WEEKS of them giving me the run around (excuse after excuse) we now know it needs a new transmission. In the meantime, The finance company revoked the deal because I couldnt finalize the verification process because they cant finalize the loan on an inoperable/non-running vehicle, so as of Dec 19th they closed the financing option and returned the deal to the dealership. ***** in finance (at the dealership) as of even yesterday, insists the financing is still available, but I have an email from American Credit showing its closed. AutoNation has refused to refund the down payment of $6500 and just dissolve this deal (as I requested) they didnt offer to sell me another vehicle, they havent provided a loaner or rental, they keep trying to force my hand to lie to the finance company and say the deal is ok, so the deal can go through with an active warranty to fix the truck. They have the vehicle, my down payment and Im without transportation. On December 26,2022, in a phone conversation with ***************** the *** he stated they would just use my down payment to fix the truck, if I dont finish the financing verification. I asked him to send me a written statement to that effect in writing since they would be using the down payment for this purpose, I still have not received. . I have a great deal of documentation related to this matter, far too much to type. Please help. I can be reached at ************ to discuss further.

    Business Response

    Date: 01/18/2023

The customer's concerns occurred after he had the vehicle for a week and put over 500 miles on it. It was sold with a limited warranty and the customer purchased additional coverage, both of which would have covered the failed component. The customer failed to meet his contractual obligations and refused to complete a lender interview, which caused us to have to exercise our right of self-remedy and secure the vehicle. The customer was informed that if he chooses not to complete the interview the contract would void the warranties and he would be responsible for any repairs.  He continued to refuse to meet his contractual obligations and we made a business decision to discontinue our business relationship with him.  We good-willed the repairs, refunded his money and not interested in doing any business with him in the future.
