      My non-profit company (NW *************** Peace Program) signed on with HIBU to advertise for employees and host families and gain us ****** reviews. The charge was about $1000 per month for a contracted 6 month time period which was automatically deducted each month from our bank account. During the first month I could not contact my team. I phoned and emailed both *********************** and ********************* with no response for weeks. I finally reached out to customer service and within a few days was contacted by a new team assigned to me. I cannot remember the manager but the facilitator assigned was *********************. ***** was very responsive although never in the 6 months did we receive even one contact from anything HIBU claimed they were doing for us. A couple months in it was discovered that our reviews were and had been since day 1, targeted to another company. Our reviews were all based off of a completely different company with a similar name. I asked for a refund or a months credit but was denied. After our 6 months was up I contacted my bank and denied any further payments to HIBU. They owe me at least a month and even though I have continued to explain to them that I DID NOT get what I paid for (very far from it) They have completely ignored me. They are constantly emailing and calling and now I am being blackmailed with threats of collection. This is not fair. I did not sign a contract saying I would pay even though they did not do what they promised. I feel used and taken advantage of. I will not pay for nothing... actually I did pay $6000 for nothing already. ****** learned.

      This letter is in response to the correspondence received on July 24, 2023, about Ms. ********* claim that her reviews were linked to another company, she requested credit for the issue, and that her products did not have a return on her investment.


      Our client, *******************, authorized a 6-month contract on 11/4/22 for Display, ************************* Solution and the Assistant products.
      The issue that occurred with the incorrect link was corrected and an offer was made to *******************, we did not receive a reply. The products did perform as expected and received traffic during the time that they were active.


      We have reached out to the client by email, but we have not received a reply.


      There would be no basis for an adjustment to the account.

      I attempted to use Hibu Inc through account rep ************************* out of ************** **. Our agreement was that Hibu would create meme/joke styled ads for me & run them on Meta platforms & would be able to successfully create a ****** Business Profile.When we began discussing ad options I made Hibu aware that I was looking for specific customers who would find my style of ads appealing & they claimed to understand.When we discussed the Profile I let them know that ****** had rejected my application as I had an online only business. Hibu assured me that they had a special relationship with ****** & Meta & would be able to provide me with a Profile & would also be able provide me with services that would be inaccessible to me outside of their company.I agreed to pay $977 to begin the process & was never provided with a contract to sign that I had anticipated.I then discovered that they did not intend to create meme/joke ads for me but instead intended to pull random pictures & random text from my site run quantities of ads then run whichever version of random combos got the most clicks. I rejected this plan completely & we agreed that I would provide the ads & that they would run them for me instead. When I was saw my *************** I discovered that they had split my images ************** up were running humiliating nonsense ads at random.I continuously objected they pretended to fix the ads lied to me about it & kept running them anyway. I finally spoke to internal tech support & had the ads stopped. I told them that our agreement was at an end as they had done nothing we agreed to.They restarted my ads & took an unauthorized payment out and refused to stop.4/13/2023 $977.00 6/27/2023 $131.39

      I've been trying to correct bad addresses floating around the internet that are confusing some of our new customers. Mapquest has directed me to Yext. Yext won't let me correct anything without an account, and won't let me create an account because the business is claimed - and I don't know the user-id. All I need is a support method to have the incorrect information published. I don't want to pay them to correct incorrect information they are publishing.

      This letter is being sent in response to the correspondence received on July 24, 2023, regarding a listing on MapQuest showing an old address.  We assisted **************** with having the old address deleted back on July 10, 2023.  When we contacted ****************, he agreed that the issue was already taken care of.  He also stated that he did not file a complaint against Hibu and was surprised by our notification.  He advised the complaint he filed was against Yext for not being helpful.

      I am rejecting this response because: The complaint was against **** because **** will not allow me to claim my own business and correct problems with this business in their listings. If they are going to publish information about my business, I should have the right to correct it. 

      The fact that Hibu is registered in ****'s system as the "owner" of this date is immaterial. The business is mine. I can provide proof that it is mine. Therefore my ownership of the business should override any other claims. 

      This was not a complaint against Hibu, it was a complaint that **** will not allow the owner of a business to correct bad data in the **** system.

      I checked with our support team, and we showed **************** as the primary owner of the Yext account. ****** Gift Card Exchange LLC was also listed as an Owner.  Hibu was listed as a manager.  **************** can access his Hibu dashboard at www.dashbard.hibu.com where he can view his listings and make changes if needed.       I requested cancellation in writing on behalf of my client ******************* on May 17, 2023. I later tried calling and was told my client would have to call directly (he is an attorney with a very busy trial schedule). The number they have just puts you on hold forever. Attorney **** tried calling as well several times and was finally able to get through. They did finally cancel the account but are refusing to do so retroactively. I am the authorized person on the account and should have been able to cancel.With their lack of responses and lack of human phone support (or voice mail option) they are making it nearly impossible for people to cancel. It's not ethical to hold people hostage.

      HIBU worked with Sun Boss to promote our business on line in several formats.The goal was to generate leads. After months of display advertising at **** a month we saw no increase in leads.The idea was to experiment and try a search campaign that could have been $500-10000. We decided to try $5500 with the clear understanding it could be adjusted up or down at any time by both sales reps ****** and *****)Month 1 of $5500.00 and no new appts.We paused account.After 4 months they said they have to run the account 3 months. I never heard this. I did sign an email that they said authorized the start and that can be adjusted or stopped at ANY time.Now they are billing me $5500 to run for two more months Disgusting as I requested that they stop all until we figure out a solid program for success.Sad that Sun Boss was looking for a successful on line lead generation on company and was wanting to work long time with them.Now it is we have to bill the $5500.00 then we are done.I want the recording of our zoom meeting and they will not supply it.We refer several times during the sales call that at any ti e we can change or cancel.Not true!!!!Deceptive business at best

      I am rejecting this response because all I am asking for is proof of a verbal authorization on the contract.

      I was not read the agreement and was told we were on a recorded call.

      I was told the agreement amount could go up or down at any time or we could cancel.

      The company is saying I need to have that document they recorded subpoenaed.

      if We have a legal document simply provide it as well as the zoom meeting where several guarantees were made that if they did not occur we simply stop.

      I have contacted Hibu and their representatives via email, phone, and live chat to cancel my service. I requested to cancel and pay my contract in full in March. They said they could not do this. My contract is up/paid in full and they have ignored my written and phone requests to cancel my service. They keep you on hold for excessive amounts of time and then hang up when you contact "the only department that cancel your account." They will not call you back and only respond via email directing you to "call to cancel." Very poor business practices. They have no respect for the time of others and no regard for the customer. I've upheld my end of the contract and would like to part ways now. I saw no return on investment for their services. I gave notice via phone and email to Hibu that I wanted to cancel services at the end of my contract.Acct # **********

      This letter is being sent in response to the correspondence received on June 21, 2023, about the frustrations **************** had with our Cancelation process.  Per policy, all clients must call and speak to Hibu ****** Services to request a cancelation.  Ms. ***** advised she was experiencing long hold times when she called. We called and left a message suggesting calling in earlier in the day when the hold times are normally not as long. **************** called and spoke to ****** Success this morning and was able to request the cancelation of her Search product.

      I, *****************************, the owner of ****'s Market reject the answer by ******** H.I.B.I. uses their inflated and Fake Metrics to back up the Company's deceptive practices, knowing that the Client/Customer has no way to disprove the metrics created by H.I.B.I. logarithms. ******** uses their own Company generated Phone number to capture all incoming Phone Calls from our Existing Customers and claim that these call are Hard Leads. Please help us to expose these Fraudulent Practices. If H.I.B.U could install Video and Cameras in my Business to record any and all Customers when entering my Business, they could claim everyone entering my premises as a new Customer sent by ********, which would be false. The same argument can apply to all Phone Calls to my Business through the ******** created WEBSITE,. I am on site everyday and I can attest that we have not received one new Customer after signing up wth ******** I regret the day, I allowed their salesman *************************** into my Business. He promised my business Partner?Wife *********************** that the Contract would be for 3 months along with the promise of new Increase in Customers.       This is an official complaint, fueled by frustration and disbelief at the level of dishonesty displayed by your company, particularly your sales representative, ********************On April 14th, Ms. ***** sold me your services on the premise that your marketing capabilities were suited to my niche business. With reservations, I decided to move forward, only to be hoodwinked by your company's deceitful practices.When I reached out to Ms. ***** on April 22nd, specifically asking about your cancellation and refund policy, she unequivocally stated it was a 60-day commitment period. Based on this misinformation, I remained a customer.Imagine my surprise and anger when I was told by your investigation team on June 13th that the actual cancellation period is a meager 7 or 8 days. This is not a minor discrepancy; it is a glaring, unacceptable error.Now, adding insult to injury, my cancellation and refund request on June 20th has been denied because I supposedly missed the cancellation windowa window which I was misled about.       This company flat out lied when asking if Id be locked into a contract, they said no that I would be able to reduce it back to my original contract at any time and then once the product was proven to be garbage, they then insisted I was locked into a contract for six months. they steal from small businesses with zero return, and when their call *****, they all use the same line and say theyre doing an investigation with theres no investigation tdone. They say the record conversations, but nothing is recorded. Or at least are certainly not willing to produce the recording although it advises you that all conversations are recorded plain and simple. Just a big scam to take money from small businesses. absolutely disgusting. with no recourse they even admitted that I did not sign the contract but they said it was because of Covid which is absolutely ridiculous so although my contract was never signed by me, they still take my money. now I have to spend more money for a lawsuit. ***!
