      Never order any doors or windows from this company , they came:, measured wrong , had installers come 6 months after initial order: they put in one window, said the other window was measured wrong , said they would be back same day to install trim on the one window they got right, never came , one and a half years later no second window and now they are threatening collect agency , I had to pay half of the money up front ***** dollars for one window without the trim , took a day off from work and they never came back. Now a new sales representative is looking to collect !

      We ordered replacement windows from Pella March 2022. The total was over 22k, and we were told the turn around time was **** weeks. A month later, we got an install date of July 21st, which put it at 16 weeks. We were told they would be here to do the install July 21st and 22nd and possibly a half day on July 23rd. We went with Pella because we thought they had superior customer service. We were counting down the days until the install. I Made daycare reservations for our dog and made sure to clear my work schedule. They confirmed the install date on Friday July 15th. On the morning of July 21st, we received a call at 9am saying the crew could not make it due to rain, and they had to speak with the scheduling manager to see if they would make it on Friday the 22nd. I called back the same day to get an update and was told they would call me back. I did not get a call back and we were left wondering if they would come out to do the install Friday the 22nd. On the morning of Friday the 22nd, I called and emailed Pella to see if they were coming out and if not were there any updates on our installation. They did not call us back, but did reply to the email saying they are trying to get us rescheduled. We did not understand why they needed to reschedule as the crew was originally scheduled to be here on Friday. The weather was fine and there was no rain in the forecast. We called them back around noon thinking they would have some answers for us, but our calls went unanswered. My husband and I left a total of 3 voice message on Friday. My husband called Pella's corporate office and they said they would follow up with Pella of Georgia, but never did. We called again before around 4:30pm on Friday and the corporate office put us on hold and then the call dropped. Now we are going into the weekend with no idea when ourwindows will be installed. We paid over 22k and feel like we have been ripped off.

      I contacted Pella in early April because of a broken screen door closure. The door was still under warranty and Pella set a date to replace the broken screen door. I was contacted by Pella the day before the installation date to tell me that they no longer make that model and it couldn't be replaced. The workaround Pella suggested was to replace the closing mechanism. After SEVERAL calls to Pella, the replacement parts were sent but they did not include the broken item (retractable chord). When I called Pella they told me that the replacement part is no longer manufactured and that I had two options, 1) replace the screen door with one that is non-retractable or 2) receive a check for the estimated amount of a replacement. I chose option 1. I was told that I'd be contacted by someone to arrange an installation date. I waited three weeks and did not receive a call so I contacted them. I called Pella three times and was told each time that they are waiting for a 'ship date' for the replacement door. Each time I called I was told it should ship within 48 hours and that someone will call me once it ships. Today I was told that due to supply chain issues the door would not ship until December (the middle of an NYwinter ?). It took Pella 4 months and about 15 phone calls to tell me this ?? This has been a nightmare from the beginning. Pella frequently says that I will receive a callback and I rarely do. I have had to make multiple follow-up calls to get anything done The communication within the company is horrendous. I have been misinformed and ill-advised from day 1. This is a $6,000 door with a 10-year warranty. What good is a warranty if it's not going to honor it in a timely manner? We have been very patient and understanding during this extreme heat. We are willing to work with Pella for a realistic solution. I was shocked to see that I'm not the only one with customer service issues. PELLA ....YOU CAN DO BETTER !!
