1 starPella has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in 63 years. Won’t answer the phone or put me on hold and never come back. Stood me up several times on installation without so much as a phone call. Lost a window TWICE. Been waiting since early March now they lost it again even though they told me they had it 2 weeks ago and stood me up again. I fucking hate Pella. They have almost drove me crazy. Not worth it at all.Review fromSam M

5 starsI have a 20 year old house that had builder grade aluminum windows. They have been falling apart for the last two years. So, after about 18 months of researching replacement windows, I mean in depth research. I checked with big box stores, local & regional window companies, youtube videos, internet searches, google & five other reviews of companies and those door to door 'P@w*r HR6' (Hi I'm in the neighborhood installing windows for your neighbor so many streets over, yada, yada). Cut that door2door crap out! I bit the bullet and we decided to go with Pella. I knew what I wanted and I know was a fair price would be. I wanted the Pella Impervia, which is the fiberglass framed window. I contacted the local Pellabranch.com made an appointment and it went smooth. Since I did not want the Vinyl windows and I knew fiberglass would cost 30 percent more, why, because I did the research. When I got the quote, it was very reasonable. Considering I know people that paid more per vinyl clad window than I did. I mean they have a thick frame vinyl (do your research on poor quality of titanium dioxide and calcium carbonate). Anyway, I agreed and was informed that it would be 12-18 weeks out for the build and install. During these supply chain shortage, no ones fault. I was given an install date. The installer was on time, informative, and his team were subject matter experts on installation. They completed the job of 14 windows within 8 hours and you could not even tell they were here after they left. Took great care to protect everything. The windows look amazing. We are looking forward to lower electric bills and less outside noise. I am happy. I got a great product, at a good price with an even better install. Amazing installers equals Amazing window. Don't fall for a bad window or bad installer. A great window with a bad installer is a bad window.Do your research. Shout out to MMendoza, BJaramillo, PBuford and installer CChao. Thank you Pella of North Texas Grapevine.Review fromDonna D

1 starSo very disappointed in Pella! Had a sales rep come to our home. We went over ALL the windows and patio door to be replaced. Coordinated for the windows to be installed before our new siding was to go on. Installation went great, however, my family room window was missed. My rep missed adding the window to my contract. Pella never offered an apology for the mix up, didn't offer a discount so I could get the window. I had to keep calling them just to follow up and in the end was basically told it was my fault. Discount was not offered for missing window because installing a single window was more expensive for them. I already spent $17,000 on the other windows, this was not supposed to be a single window install! It really makes me sad to say I would NOT recommend PellaReview fromRobert S

1 starWorking with Pella started out great, We worked with their sales person and selected the 250 series for our home in MN. For most of the windows we included the hidden screen option. Windows came in and were installed as promised. Installers were very professional and did a great job of communicating prior and during the installation. Sadly then everything appeared to go off the rails. The installers were told a separate team needed to install the hidden screens. We had no ideal the hidden screens did not come pre-installed in the windows. Scheduling the install of screens did not occur until repeated voicemails/emails to Pella and the initial scheduling was a full month after the windows were installed. Some emails were sent to Pella but no response or calls, only received and email and text message the day before the screens were to be installed. Left a voice mail with Pella support when the installer did not arrive in the scheduled time frame. Only one installer arrived an hour late, and he apologized was not able to install all 11 windows given his schedule. He attempted to install the hidden screens on one of the 11 windows only to find it was damaged and would need a replacement ordered. He also noted that some of the screens were missing and indicated someone would be ordering the missing hidden screens rescheduling their installation. It appears Pella's customer services, is attempting to automate communications via general text and email messaging and loosing sight of benefits of personal interactions and accountability. At this point we are not certain if this project will ever be done given no one appears to be reachable by phone, other than a voicemail box, if it not already full. And no one seems interested in calling back. I feel bad for the screen installer given the expectation by management. Customer Support as others have noted is a complete failure.Review fromSheila C

1 starVery unprofessional; unresponsive; and largely LACK in CUSTOMER SERVICE I spent ***** on a door and window package from this group.$16k+ Per bi fold glass doors; none of which currently work (a total of 4 for $64+k)They did an initial install and then came back prior to the framing around the door being closed in and installed again a second time and then has been out over 4 times since Again none of the doors operate at this time; they came out again Sept 8 due to a discussion with the Director of Operations I was told by the Installation Manager @DavidRuth that he did the install and he had no intention of helping to fix the problem but that there is a problem with my header (mind you there is no other concerns showing that it would be the header; however I have scheduled for my trim etc to be removed to prove it was an installation issue) in the mean time he told me he had an entire file on my home from each occasion they had been to my home which included pictures and video; @********* stated that The Director of Operations @JoshuaMoorehead had to provide me the information As a Director of Operations you would think he would know how to communicate; not once did @JoshuaMoorehead pick up the phone to discuss the meeting Sept 8th but he has yet to respond to my request for my file ... this is my home and my file why can I not have a copy to review with my builder? If it is as they are noting my builders fault? This leads me to believe they Pella messed up and are trying to hide; please note my doors still don't work (been going on since Aug) and still no communication from any form of management at the @pellawindows&doorsofcharlotte I even called to speak with President ***** @LeeWay and was told I could only leave a message with the front desk- I could not get an email or sent directly to him on the phone .... still have not heard back I suggest reaching out to ******** Windows and staying away from @JoshuaMoorehead @DavidRuth and @LeeWay Until their professioReview fromBrett F

1 starWorking with Pella windows has been a complete nightmare. Their service is terrible. I was brought up with the belief that if you dont have something nice to say - dont say itbut, I am so frustrated. I had almost all of my windows replaced at a cost of nearly six figures. They offer delay upon delay. When they did arrive to install one particular window it was the wrong size. Faulty installation on one window cost me $900.00 to fix the damage it caused. Im still waiting for several windows and my home renovation is on hold. Thankfully the contractor has been understanding. I was now told that the remaining windows that were due to arrive in August might not be available until late October. I definitely would not recommend this company.Review fromDan M

1 starTerrible experience overall. After the installation, which went well, but was incomplete, trying to get the job finished and inspected has turned into over a two month nightmare after the installation. Their lack of response, communication in general and follow through has been insulting and upsetting, to say nothing of unprofessional. The initial installation was in early June, and as of today , August 18, I'm waiting for the city's final inspection, which I myself had to finally call and arrange. Totally dropped the ball, here. Should have gone with ********, or anyone else !Review fromANDREW N

1 starI purchased over 65 windows and 4 sliding doors from Pella in **** for a home we built. In 2022 I tried to get weather stripping for the sliding doors. They discontinued the weather stripping that fit these doors. My question, that is unanswered, why build a product that cant be serviced during its intended useful life? NEVER, WILL I PURCHASE PELLA PRODUCTS AGAIN.Review fromJulia P

1 starI've never had worse customer service as I have with **********************. They initially measured incorrectly in October 2021, then tried to get me to 'work with it'. It's a $10,000 door - no thanks! After some discussion they agreed to order a new door, had a couple of delays and cancellations with the second door. The scheduling rep offered me a 20% check back to be issued when the door was installed. Once it was finally installed almost 10 months later, I never heard back from them to confirm we were happy with the product, nor can I reach anyone re: the amount back as promised. I will never do business with Pella again, and will gladly share my experience with anyone looking for new doors/windows so they can avoid this and find someone better.Review fromtara h.
