  Just bought a package of blueberries at HyVee. It was flatter and larger than the cube-like package, but was $2.67 as opposed to $5.00. Same company. Just tried some at home, after having a few from the cube package. They look very similar, but tasted like chemicals. Grotesque! Yes, they were cheaper. Was I expected to know that they would taste soooo badly as a result? They should not be on the shelves! I will return them tomorrow and file a complaint. But this is reflective of the downhill slide of HyVee on so many fronts, as evidenced in other comments here. Sad. :(

  Silvis Dairy manager sold outdated product. When asked to throw it out, the same product made it to the shelves the next day. After complaining to corporate, and indicating that I refused to shop at that store ever again, they revoked my Fuel Savers account! For no reason. I do like some of the other stores of theirs, and would have selectively shopped at a store I liked better. Instead, they have now lost a customer that they had for 30 years.

  Once again a Hy vee add that you can’t get . Today at 2:00 pm at south side in Iowa city the Thursday only pizza add was unavailable . Same problem I experienced in Ottumwa on boneless chicken add , Got the standard we will give a rain check on truck tomorrow. I live 60 miles from there. The soup for 10 for 10! was located on bottom shelf couldn’t find it and had to be ask to locate it . Only had two available cream of chicken and tomato. This is nothing more than bait and switch .

  Bought 2 breakfast meals, worst food I’ve ever had. By the way toast means toasting the bread, not just putting two pieces of bread near the food.

  I find it absolutely ridiculous they had no checkers on a Sunday morning and was forced to use self checkout. I am not getting paid to scan my own groceries. I will definitely reconsider going to Hy-Vee on Minnesota Ave in Sioux Falls, SD!

  I bought packaged Chinese food from the store in Spencer Iowa last night. This was the most disgusting meal I have ever attempted to eat. I am in no way a picky eater, but this was inedible. Items included, veg lo main, magnolia beef, chicken egg rolls and crab lagoons. Entrees were pasty, with sauce being nauseating. Egg rolls and lagoons were doughy and undercooked. I should have returned these to the store, but it was too late at night. The cooks either need to be retrained or replaced. I will never buy these items again. If it was possible I would give 0 stars!!

  You guys should really invest in a cart manager machine, whatever you call those. It’s sad to see your employees pushing these carts and breaking in between to catch their breaths because the snow is affecting their ability to push the carts in. So very sad!

  Everything is self check out now and you have people just standing around. Then I swipe my card and says wait for cashier ,well apparently I'm the customer and cashier so who the hell am I waiting for?. Girl comes over and just clicks a button and walks away. Like I'm so happy that you're getting paid to do that and get paid to watch me check out my own groceries. I don't work for hyvee . And I will no longer be going there. I even got gift cards for there and I refuse to use them now. That was just terrible. Even wal mart still has checkers. Like come on. It's 2022 Do better

  HyVee used to be a decent store, but over the last few years I have lost all respect for them. During the pandemic I saw multiple instances of price gouging on items that were hard to find, while other grocers were keeping reasonable prices on those same items. Now their prices on pretty much everything in the store have gotten ridiculous. I understand that we are in a time of horrible inflation, but a lot of their prices are so far above other grocers in my area that it is criminal - especially on meat. Also, their basic gas prices around here are laughable..sure, you can reduce the price by using your fuel saver card, but it means you are robbing Peter to pay Paul. No respect for this company any more.
