      You dont even deserve one star! The last few times I have gone to this particular Safeway has become nothing but a waste of my time, gas, wear and tear on my vehicle. You never have in stock the items you have in your sale flyer. No wonder theres nobody in that store. But, it really isnt just this Safeway location. Ive wasted my time going to three different Safeway stores before simply trying to find a few items that you put in your sale flyer that you fail to stock on your shelves. Some people would call that false advertising. In fact, that is exactly what this is! And you inquire may I please get a rain check? Oh h*** no! Dont even try to be that common sense because they aint gonna do it for you because they dont give two ***** about their customers! I will never transfer another prescription to a Safeway pharmacy either! The last time I did, they screwed me out of the $75 in groceries even though I did everything I was supposed to on my end! Could not even complete the online customer service form for **********************. It would never submit! I made one dead end call after another and was promised different things from different **************** **** or thats what they called themselves and none of them did anything they said they were going to. Waste of human flesh. It is so blatantly obvious the last thing Safeway cares about is their customers! Thats OK cause theyre all going to be without a job soon anyway! When they close all three Safeway stores in this town! Being bought out and monopolized by ************. Audios! Dont let the door hit you in the A#% on the way out. When you treat customers like that, bad karma is sure to catch up to you. Thats for no rain checks and wasting my time and money! I have no sympathy for any of you! Like it!!

      ******* of a star.....The service of ******* the manager and cashier ***** fall in line with the other bad reviews for this store. With or without a receipt if things aren't up to par then you are just out of luck. Flowers died in less than 2 days after paying almost $30 for them. My wife and I work full time and it took a few days (not weeks) to return the items. They advised its under their discretion to give a refund. Although the policy says store credit...I think I know what the discretion was. My wife was the wrong shade of color. Yeah thats still a thing beleive it or not. They are saying they will lose money. As much money as we spend every week they are going to lose more than just money for the flowers and sushi. My wife felt racially profiled as the cashier ***** was yelling and using aggressive hand gestures at her. But from what it looks like, this will go to a blind eye so we will continue spreading the work until we get a response and are satisfied with it.

      I clipped Just for U coupons on the Safeway web site and then went to the store (*****, **) The specials were not credited to me at checkout. I returned to the store, went to customer service. They were very courteous and refunded what would have been the discount amounts. But, I don't believe that I should have to return to the store to get the benefits of the coupons. If their system cannot handle the just for U properly, they should get a programmer in to fix it or discontinue the program. I wonder how many customers think they got the special price and don't check the receipt.

      I've been calling customer service for months regarding their app because it doesn't accept my EBT card and now I can't even add another form of payment. Very disappointed with this, as I am disabled and can't physically go to the store. They continue to tell me they are working on the app, and now I can't even place an order. It telling me my account is deactivated.

      I ordered a delivery online. I saw their car at my location on the map. Then, I immediately got a notification that they had missed the delivery. There were 3 ways to contact us, but nothing happened. So, I contacted for re-delivery. I waited another 3 hours and contacted them again, and they said the delivery driver would contact me. I waited for the next 30 minutes and decided to chat with them online to make sure it happened. They said they would not deliver today since they missed the delivery. If so, how was I wasting talking to 2 reps and an extra 4 hours? I had no choice but to order re-delivery tomorrow. I am kind of skeptical.This is the 3rd time Safeway didn't deliver. The first time, they postponed each day and night and made me wait for a total of 3 days, and I ended up with no delivery. They didn't refund the money and blamed me. I don't remember they ever refunded it since I needed to talk to them about the refund for a month at least. So, be vigilant and record everything just in case that happens to you. There are more different problems with the online order. Price change, coupon disappearing, missing and damaged items, etc. After all, I became exhausted from calling customer service because of it.

      Really should have a choice of rating 000 I really hope someone will reply to this 8/26/24 stopped by the store to grab deli chicken, employee took my order, while placing chicken in the bag she dropped a piece, and then casually picked it up and placed in the bag, I stopped her, asked to redo order SHE REFUSED STATING WW CLEAN COUNTER EVERY 30 minutes REFUSED TO REPLACE FOOD, Went to see store manager he took bag and hopefully instructed disrespectful deli person to remake bag.THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR SHAME ON YOU DELI DIRTY PESO

      I have called Safeway for the past three months trying to get reimbursed for six dollars worth of shrimp which were bad. I made gumbo out of with all the products but the bag of onions were bad. The bag of oranges were bad. Call me back within 5 to 7 days. Nothing has happened. I have the receipts and everything. I just wanna be reimbursed for the time I spent making 24 servings of gumbo having to throw everything out and start over again.

      The Safeway Store 2044, located at ************************************************************************ continually overcharges on digital coupon offerings in their weekly ad. The coupons are loaded on my phone, and I purchase exactly what is offered at that price, only to be ripped off by over $35.00 today, and by $13.78 back on July 17, 2024. When I tried to get credit back at the front desk, the person in charge is unable to accurately figure out how much reimbursement I am supposed to receive and continues to overcharge me. I am done shopping at Safeway. They no longer have my trust and I warn all consumers to carefully watch their receipts against the store adds and fight to get your fair reimbursements back. The cost of groceries is too high to begin with, then add on the fact that when you try to save money the store works against you to satisfy their ineptness and greediness. SHAME ON YOU SAFEWAY!

      I visited this location today for normal shopping and went through the checkout process. The lady in front of me had her membership not recognized and she paid full price. She looked confused, but the cashier didn't try to react or rectify and the lady went on her way. My items were up next and the same issue occurred. The cashier again tried to say bye and not worry about it, but I had almost 30 dollars worth of points and coupons that I pay annual membership for to keep. ******** walked me over to customer service and I tried to explain what the issue is. She told me to mark on the receipt what was wrong and what % discount it should have... ON EACH ITEM LINE. With a membership we get % discounts across the board, like with Safeway O brand, items we buy regularly, etc. I'm not sure how I was supposed to do that for you and apply my $20 points redemption that went away after I've cashed out at the register. I suggested just ringing it all back up, but she didn't seem to want to have to do all of that. Since I've worked in IT for years I luckily understood the issue and tried to explain. She wasn't able to understand, which is fine, but then she called **** (if he gave me his real name, freckles...) over. **** said that he's a FRONT Manager and I explained the issue. He started arguing with me and took offense that the system didn't work correctly? All while refusing to tell me his name once he realized that he had crossed the line. He continued to be rude and talk over me while also talking about me to ******* right next to him, who was visibly uncomfortable. **** kept telling ******* how he did everything and that I'm just acting up, obviously trying to get her to cover for his fumbles. He walked away laughing and still talking at me like it's some sort of middle school argument. This person has no business being in front of customers, let alone a manager who is supposed to specialize in solving front issues...

      I went to a secondary Safeway store in my town, because the store closest to me I usually shop at sold me outdated salad dressings and raw chicken. At the other store at 10 am there were no cash registers open, but 4 cashiers standing around, I asked if they had a checkstand open because I had a large order and they told me they were deciding. So I used the self checkout. When I checked my bank account they charged me POS and took this out of my account, But they also charged me the same amount as a ATM withdrawel.I contacted corporate and they said this happens at the Self checkouts. But if I was not watching my accounts this would have come out of my account and I would of had overdraft fees. Plus I could not take care of other bills until this was taken care of, since now days I am on a tight budget, I am reviewing this today to warn other Safeway shhoppers to watch their accounts. My bank *** me this happens if you use the self check outs. Why Safeway does not fix this I do not know,
