This company has sent me two false advertisements from two different high schools in my area. I would prefer it if scams were not sent to me or anyone else for that matter.

We are a legitimate fundraising company that has been partnering with schools and their local communities since 1996. We have raised over $15M for schools through our poster program and have given over 2M free shirts to school activities groups through our free t-shirt program. It is fully within your right to choose not to participate, but your local high school chose to work with us for a reason.
You have been removed from any further email communication regarding supporting your local high school through one of our school programs. Best wishes on your future endeavors.

Spam/scam. No idea who these people are, if they're legit, how they got my email address or why they thought it was appropriate to use it to beg for money. Remove me from your junk mail list. Do not contact me further.

I am writing on behalf of ************** in ******************. On 3/27/25, I received a call from this company stating they are making tshirts for a local high school (LakeShore) and would like me to donate. After discussing sizing and prices, the sales *** said i would receive an email to confirm the logo and payment. I did NOT receive such email. As a matter of fact i received nothing from the company until 5/5/25 after they had called me to confirm my choices. Later that day i called the school to discuss the shirts and they had no idea what i was discussing. There was no advertising of this at all. I informed them via email on 05/12/25 that I was not moving forward with it. They emailed back stating it is too late and that i must pay them or it will go to collections. This is clearly a scam company that solicits and mines phone numbers for businesses. They do not answer any of the 4 phone calls i have made. I need this balance to be zero and adjusted as is with no balance due as I am rejecting the delivery of the product and i have made it clear i have not received any communication from them.

I apologize for the frustration and inconvenience youve experienced. Your feedback is very important to us, and we take your concerns seriously.
I am truly sorry for the breakdown in communication regarding your participation in the ********************** t-shirt program. I see that the original sale date for the ad was 3/27. We sent you an invoice email on 3/28 and an ad proof email on 4/1. I apologize if you did not receive either of these emails. They may be caught in your spam filter or we typed your email address incorrectly. I see that we sent them to *************************** Because we did not hear back from you on these emails, we reached back out to you on 5/5 via phone and email, and we didnt hear from you that you didnt want to proceed until 5/12, which was after the project had already been sent to print and was more than 6 weeks from the original agreement.
I can see how this would be even more frustrating when you reached out to the school and it seemed they were unaware of the initiative. This can happen when you communicate with the front office of a school and they are not aware of our specific contract with a steam.I assure you that we have a legitimate contract with ***** ****** of the Football program.
In light of your experience, we are currently working to resolve your account as requested and ensure that you are not held responsible for any charges. I have confirmed that it is credited to zero and we will not be in touch any further about this project.

I was contacted about purchasing an ad for the local high school. I communicated with them and told them that they were free to email me some information that way I can look at find out what my options were if I was wanting to make a purchase if it were actually to help the school in anyway. I got an email about half an hour later thanking me for for making a purchase on an ad when all I told them was that I would like to see what my options were before I made a purchase. Never gave any OK or authorization or any other acknowledgment that I was purchasing anything but rather that it was for information only. Nobody likes being forced into a purchase of anything. This kind of tactic should be a crime and I will be bringing this incident up to our local school district.

I want to sincerely apologize for your experience with our sales department. We do have processes in place to prevent this (typically a second ****** joins the call to verify the intent to buy), and I am sorry that this didnt stop this error from being made on your account.

I have confirmed that we cancelled the ad, your account has been credited to zero, and you will have already received communications from our customer service department confirming this by the time this response is posted on BBB.

Additionally, I have sent this information to our sales manager and recommended a retraining session for the sales ****** you spoke with on the phone. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

It has come to our attention that ***************** has obtained our email address through illegal data mining practices, violating our privacy rights. By sending unsolicited emails without our consent, they are in clear violation of anti-spam laws.Furthermore, it has become apparent that ***************** operates solely to profit from schools, rather than actually helping them. They offer services that seem beneficial on the surface, but ultimately just take a cut from schools without providing any substantial assistance. We demand that ***************** - All American Publishing immediately cease all illegal data mining practices and spam email campaigns. We also urge them to reevaluate their business model and prioritize actually helping schools, rather than exploiting them for financial gain.

    Business Response

    Date: 05/02/2025

I see two main points of contention in your complaint: illegal data mining and exploitation of schools. These are heavy accusations, and they are blatantly false.

We work with reputable vendors and we are fully compliant with all legal requirements that govern both phone and email sales practices. We have operated our business with full integrity since 1996 and have served thousands of schools and given millions in free product and advertising rebates.

Our schools choose to work with us (oftentimes year after year after year) instead of doing all the work themselves because of how easy we make this process for them and how much professional bandwidth we bring to projects: dedicated sales people, skilled graphics staff, highly-motivated account managers and on-time production of product. This saves athletic directors and club advisors many hours of time and effort that they dont have after all the other commendable work they do to support student activities.

We are very passionate about making the work a better place and we are doing it both on a national scale with high schools and in our local community. We wish you and your company the best in your future endeavors.

We were contacted by this company to support a "sponsorship" and they claimed they were "collaborating" with the Athletic Director of *********************, a local school. Upon contacting the school, it claims, as many others have in the past that no such relationship exists. The company's e-mail was as follows:FROM: ********************************** "Hi there! My name is ********, and I am a project coordinator at All-American Publishing. We're creating Spirit Shirts for **********************We would love to highlight your business on the t-shirts! All of our products are provided at no charge to the school, exciting for the kids -- provided by generous sponsors like you. A very select number of businesses will be showcased on these unique t-shirts. We are collaborating with ***** *****, the Athletic Director at the high school. We're preparing 100 t-shirts that will be tossed out into the crowds at Sporting Events and Pep Rallies to promote school spirit! If you would like to participate in this project, reply and let me know and I will send you more info on what you would need to do to sign up and secure your spot!PS - We are also doing projects for these local schools:-**************************** ****************************************************************** Shirts)If you'd like to participate on any of these projects please let me know!"When contacted, Westville HS Principal ****** ******* replied:"Hello,Please disregard the email. I spoke with our superintendent and AD. We are not working with them currently. *******,
We respect your concern and take your complaint very serious. We look carefully at each situation to see how we can improve our practices. After reviewing the notes documenting our communication with *********************, I can see that our previous point of contact is no longer at the school and we were unaware of that change. That explains why who you spoke with at the school was not aware of the project. We are now communicating with the Superintendent, ***** Ton and following his direction to stop all calls but to complete the shirts for the school. Thanks again for your concern. We wish you the best.

I am rejecting this response because this issue is consistent with constant practices at the business. Being responsible for updating practices contact information and campaign information is not addressed. No addressing of how prevention of this consistent problem going forward was provided. The company contacted us about 3 schools and did not address the two other schools which they are likely misrepresenting.

    Sincerely,

    *******
I can appreciate the gap we left in our last response and see why you were unsatisfied. I think the salient points remain on two fronts:how we ensure to do better in the future and the legitimacy of our contract with **************************** and *********************************.
The situation where we started sales on a school project without realizing the school contact had changed is unfortunate, and you are right that it is not an isolated incident. We deal with thousands of schools each season, and it is easy for them to slip through the cracks, especially when the schools are newer to us, as was the case with Westville. Our existing process has us signing the contract sometimes several seasons in advance of sales, we communicate with schools right away about what to expect from us, then we send communications at the beginning of the sales season and as sales progress. We are working to add staff to be able to have more direct interaction with school contacts and to rely less on email. Unfortunately, I believe this will take us some time to solve as we hire and train more staff, add in new touch points and evaluate whether they add value to our many school relationships. I wish it was a simpler, faster fix, but the scale of our business makes change slow.
Our school relationships with both other schools mentioned in our pitch email are long-standing. We have worked with ***** Grove since fall of 2010. We are currently in close contact with the ** and athletic secretary as they complete multiple projects with us each year. Unlike *********, they have been actively in touch and responding to our communications about this project as they have been in the past projects completed. We have worked with ********************* since 2016, but we have working with several contacts there and not the same one each season. We are currently working with the *************** advisor and she has also been in communication with us since the project started and she is fully expecting a successful project and new t-shirts.
I recognize that these facts will likely not change your mind about working with us on these projects but I hope they alleviate some of your concern that we are out here misrepresenting high schools. Please keep in mind that only unhappy consumers tend to leave reviews and we are in good standing with the BBB because the number of complaints we receive is very low for the large volume of business that we do everyday. Just like you, we care about high school student activities and want to see them thrive in connection with their communities. Best wishes to you in the future.

We filed to open a business, and immediately got contacted by this company to buy T-shirts for a local school. The company refused to tell us how they acquired our email address (as we arent even moved in yet!). They also failed to provide proof of partnership with our local high school, citing basic information that can easily be found online to portray or represent themselves as agents of the local school.

First, we appreciate the chance to address concerns brought up by customers and leads. We always see this feedback as an opportunity to improve our business practices. In regards to Mr. ******* concern about our data acquisition practices, our process involves strictly legal methods of gathering public data within close proximity of a contracted school. The business, Cottage Melts, appears in ******, ** on ****** and has a website that publicly lists its email address. Our email practice adheres to commercial email regulations requiring clear instructions on how to unsubscribe. In regards to Mr. ******* claim that our company failed to provide proof of partnership, please see attached image showing that Mr. ***** allowed only 20 minutes between his request for documentation from the school authorizing our services before he submitted his BBB complaint. Also attached is our authorization letter from ******************'s Athletic Director, *** ******.

All American publishing made shirts for our local school district that I support. They mailed two shirts to me without authorization. I told them I did not authorize the shirts and they don't seem to care. Best thing is, the athletic director at the district doesn't even know about the program. I refused to pay, and was sent to collections. What a scam of a company.

Thank you for your feedback about your experience. After reviewing notes on your account, I see that your business was advertised on two different school t-shirt projects (your advertisement appeared on 100 shirts for each school). Unfortunately, when you called the school and spoke to the athletic director, he is not our contact and did not have the full information. Our contacts are the Assistant Principal at one school and the *** Advisor at the other. Since your advertisement was on both school t-shirt projects, we sent you two shirts as a courtesy. *** confirmed with our customer service department that your balance due is $0. We wish you the best.

All American Publishing will not stop harassing me with calls - they call at all hours of the day from local numbers that are "disconnected" when I try to call them back. I've notified ******** J of All American Publishing that my phone number is on the national do not call list, and I've requested that they do not contact me anymore, yet the calls persist. I was contacted by this All-American Publishing out of the blue and was told they help provide schools with marketing materials to raise money for individual sports teams. They contacted me on my office line at least 3 times every week selling t-shirts for the girls basketball team. The sales *** guaranteed me they worked "hand in hand" with the local high school to provide funding for the schools teams. I agreed to sponsor originally, but then had a weird feeling so I decided to do some checking around. I called the high school directly and no one in the admin office or any athletic office has ever heard of all american publishing. They essentially said they would check into this and to be careful because it sounds like a scam. I was kind of annoyed that this company is preying on small businesses to scam them out of money, and then do absolute nothing whatsoever to actually support our local high school teams. I took it a step further and contacted the head basketball coach directly because again, the sales *** said she knew the coach personally and works with the school often. Well it turns out that the head coach directly told me to NOT donate any money to this company because they don't actually sponsor anything. The coach actually told me it would be better to donate directly to her and the team. After all this, I spoke with billing at *** and she said she would be reaching out to the high school ***resentative and would 3 way me into a call to have everything explained. As expected, I never heard a single thing back from this crooked company and instead of giving me what I asked they just sent me directly to collections without following through on their end of the agreement. BUYERS BEWARE. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. I have tried reaching a resolution with the collections agency and they are just as unhelpful as the people who work at all american publishing. I would like someone from this company to rectify the siutation.

*******, I can imagine how frustrating this situation must be for you. We appreciate your feedback about your experience with our *** and the school. Unfortunately, it sounds like you spoke to someone at the school who did not have the full information. Since we work with groups within the school, and contract directly with athletic directors, coaches or club advisors, this does happen sometimes where the school office is unaware of our partnership. Additionally, our contact at the school changed mid-year in 2024. Im not sure who you spoke to,but please be aware that our point of contact is Alle ***** and her email is ****************************** We are truly a legitimate company, and have been partnering with schools for 25+years. We've had a great relationship with this school, working on t-shirt projects together since 2015. I want to assure you that we track every complaint and use them to inform how we can get better at what we do. We will rectify this situation by marking your account with a zero balance. I apologize for your experience and wish you the best.
