Sometime in August 2023 (give or take a month, I do not have a written record) I ordered a PVC+Base section for a 28' Flagpole Antenna and never heard anything about my order. On October 28, 2023 I again ordered a PVC+Base section, Order *********** and again have not had any communication despite an email and two voice messages. I have not been charged, but I would like to have the merchandise. They have my CC info to charge me for the merchandise.Business Response

I purchased a 24 foot flagpole antenna on May 8, 2021. I reported deficiencies in their documentation, suggested multiple corrections and even provided electrical measurements of the antenna as installed.Within less than 6 months, I observed that screws were vibrating loose from the antenna, particularly where screws are attached to the two fiberglass insulators. Greyline promised a solution and indicated they were redesigning the fiberglass insulators - which they have done. However, they stopped replying to my emails in the Fall of 2021. The loose screws result in the flagpole antenna becoming mechanically unstable in the wind.I have repeatedly emailed, used their contact form, and left voicemails to no avail. They simply don't reply. I have a 3 year warranty with the product, and expect resolution.Business Response

We will contact the buyer directly to quickly resolve. Our current models do not exhibit this issue.
Indeed, we are aware of the older models and have offered recommendations to our customers for years on this topic. That said, we have upgraded the custom bolt-inserts now made in house as well as the surrounding materials. This occurrence is now considered rare. We have announced on several occasions over the years that the fact our products are 'in the wind' they are subject to Mother Nature vibrating loose hardware for some, especially at the area of pivot. Luckily this is at the bottom of the antenna only. In so doing, we have suggested to antenna owners to consider re-tightening seasonally or use a more permanent lock-tite solution which many report work quite well. A very high % of our customers do not experience this, even in older models, yet it happens, and in turn we are happy to add integrity to this area for those who require it. We are honored to serve our community of radio ops. As always, ham radio is so fun again.

The business sent an email with recommendations that I actually gave them 2 years ago, along with other mitigation techniques I have attempted. I reminded them that I have been calling and emailing about this issue for 2 years, and my product is till under warranty.

i placed an order # *********** for a 28 foot flagpole antenna package on 7-14-2022 i sent a check for full payment of $2019 check number ****. it was cashed by business on 7-20-2022 i have repeatedly emailed and called the business to find status of my order . the last email i got was August 14, 2023, which said my order was in the priority group which would ship in the next week or two. it's October 3, 2023 and i have heard nothing from them.Business Response

On June 12, 2023, I ordered a Greyline choke from Greyline for 95 dollars. I asked them on June 14 when I could expect to receive my order. They told me it was unpaid. I sent them proof from USAA that showed the purchase. They have ignored most of my requests for information. When I told them I was considering complaining to BBB, they said I would go to the back of the line for threatening them. The order number is #***********.Business Response

I ordered a 28' Flagpole Antenna from Greyline Performance Antennas on March 17, 2022. My personal check #**** for $1359.00 was cashed on March 24, 2022. I was assigned order #*********** at that time. On July 14, 2022 the following announcement appeared in the Greyline website updates: "Excitement is in the air. Let me guess, you just received notice your antenna is preparing to ship, right? If you have paid (which I had), you will receive tracking very soon...wanted to give you a heads up we are getting close to your group. As always, contact us if you have any questions..." I did not receive an email notice concerning my order. On September 19, 2022 the following Greyline website update seemed to indicate that I would soon hear about my order: "The waiting list is nearly caught up, shipping the same-next day for new orders, and the antenna racks are stocked for the winter ahead..." On November 11, 2022 I was able to chat online with a Greyline agent. This was what the agent shared: "...The ************************************************************************************ It could be 2 to 3 months or we may get lucky and its much sooner" I understood this to mean that I would be hearing about my antenna shipment on or about January 11, 2023 since that would be three months." The agent also shared the following: "...yes, we aborted last minute the 28s after believing we had the issues resolved. The notice was sent to all buyers yet many didnt get the memo. (This is the first time I heard anything about issues with 28' antenna production) Again apologies on that. We do have 24s...and are hustling to get the 28 into production." I opted to wait for the 28'. Since January 11, 2023, I have e-mailed, texted, **** mailed, online chatted, and called Greyline. They have not responded. I believe that this lack of communication indicates that tech support would be non-existent, so I request a full refund.Business Response

On July 3, 2022 I placed an order with Greyline Performance Antennas for a 20' flagpole antenna and MFJ ************* on July 3, 2022 , invoice #***********, $1314.00. I paid for the order by check, verified by my credit union as having been paid out to by Greyline on July 12, 2022. On July 23, 2022 I received an email from Greyline stating "we are coming up to your position in line for shipping an antenna to you. It's ready and awaiting the *** sticker. You can expect tracking by email to follow. Since that July email from Greyline I returned to their web site to check the status of my order and have seen only an order status of "Processing." Starting in late August, and in each month since, I made many attempts to contact Greyline requesting the status of my order through their on line chat, email, an on line contact form, and voicemail messages. As of today, December 2, 2022, I have received no direct communications from Greyline via any of their advertised contact methods regarding the status of my order. While Greyline may have misfiled my order or may be having production challenges, I would still expect they could provide a response to an inquiry from a paid customer awaiting receipt of their product. Notably, Greyline has sent me advertising emails in the last three months which included the statements: "Actively building ********************************* Daily" (September), "My team at Greyline is offering $200 Off the next 50 antennas that ship - shipping daily" (October), and "Status of Operations: Actively building ********************************* Daily (November).I'd like to think I'm a reasonable and patient person. However, I have reached the end of my patience and am now compelled to file a complaint with the BBB on this matter.I respectfully request any assistance the Better Business Bureau may offer to help me communicate with Greyline that I may either receive my order or obtain a full refund.Business Response

My original complaint regarding Greyline Performance Antenna delays on satisfying my $1300 order was complaint #********. Your office finally received a very brief apology communication from Greyline which I read and believed, along with an inbound shipment to me, that my problems with Greyline were over. I was wrong. The shipment I recieved on September 19 was incomplete (not flagpole truck for the top and no antenna tuner unit). On the day of receipt of the flagpole I contacted Greyline about the missing antenna tuner. Greyline contacted me by email wrote to me that the antenna tuner would follow delivery of the antenna pole by about a week. This tuner is roughly a $500 (retail) part of my $1300 order with Greyline. I sent them a separate email when I found the flagpole truck was missing also. Its now been over two months since I received the partial order shipment. I've emailed them, called them, and forwarded a request of status on their web interface with no responses of any kind. Needless to say I'm very 'frustrated' in this matter and would either like the antenna tuner and flagpole truck delivered or a refund for the value of the tuner and truck (likely around $520).
