  I didn't realize the contract you sign essentially forces you to agree to the program for an entire year (no refunds). It's upsetting because it wasn't stressed that you aren't able to receive a refund UNLESS you cancel within the 10 days.. I've barely used the service and now I essentially HAVE to pay for something I find useless.

  I joined *** because I was in a cycle of accumulating consumer debt without the knowledge, tools, mindset, or confidence to reverse the situation. After working through this year long program, I have paid off about $10k of debt and increased my assets by a further $10k. I feel much more confident with how I connect with money and make financial decisions. I found the ******** community very supportive and a huge asset to the program. Access to mini course modules on specific financial topics is also a great bonus of the program. I wasn't the most consistent with the course work, but I used the tracking spreadsheet religiously and that document alone has had such a positive impact on my finances that I expect to be using it for years to come. I will also be joining the alumni program to continue working through the course at my own pace. My only suggestion would be to send out an email after the year long program is up, with a survey of some kind that helps us review our progress (even if we didn't finish the course material).

  Excellent program! Has helped me to get my finances and investing on track. I personally love the emotions-based approach - I think emotions drive most of our decision-making and the program has helped me to finally face budgeting and looking to my future. Highly recommend.

  Dow Janes has turned out to be a like having the sisters I needed at a difficult point in my life. They came into my life a few years after my divorce and have provided the step-by-step process for me to feel a LOT more confidant with my money. I *thought* I was good at budgeting and money management but Dow Janes Million Dollar Year course took me to a different level! I will be able to use the money principles and mindset ideas that Dow Janes have taught me for the rest of my life. Dow Janes are here to make wealth and managing finances achievable and 'normal' for women, and I love that.

  The resources are very valuable as well as the self-paced course framework, but note that getting the full value out of the community requires you to actively take the initiative to engage. Unfortunately the team does not check in directly with you regarding your progress and in my honest opinion could work on providing a more nurturing, hospitality-like experience to its Members who put in a large upfront down-payment to enter the exclusive community.

  This program has been so great! The coaches are very helpful in all ways they can be. They are very straight forward, tactful, and so encouraging!Although life threw me lots of curve ***** and I didn't complete the year in a year they are understanding and have a monthly program you can get to help you complete it all the way through. I have learned so much and highly recommend this to anyone who struggles with money, or who doesn't have much knowledge on anything financial. The resources are plenty and it's not a program you join and have to figure out on your own, they are with you every step of the way. They are so good to the students. I will never look at money or finances the way I used to again. Honestly continuing the program, even if completed, is well worth every *****.

  I am going into my second year with Dow Janes and throughout the first year, I did learn a lot about personal finance. I had some major set backs throughout the year and was not able to complete the curriculum. What is great about Dow Janes is that they do not abandon you after 12 months. They provide the opportunity to continue your educational journey with the same level of support. I decided to start all over and i realize how much my mindset has changed in the past 12 months because of how much I learned. This has been a life changing, eye opening experience and I recommend the program to all who are ready to work hard - YOU have to do the work yourself, it's not a magical solution - to get their finances in order, and to delve into why you make the choices you do. This is key. If you would like to make a change, the guidance is available. I took off one star because there are weekly office hours that are not convenient for me due to my day job and yes, I do realize that all programs are recorded and available to view at my leisure.

  I cannot recommend Dow Janes and specifically, their Million Dollar Year program, highly enough. It's more than a class, it's also a community of women+ who support each other and encourage each other to keep working to save and build wealth. Before the program I was mostly financially illiterate but motivated to make a financial change, ready to put in work, and was held back by fear of making giant mistakes with money and a lack of education on managing personal finances. It was truly life altering for me and I have met enough other people in the program to know I'm not alone. I can honestly say that the *** was the best use of money in my life aside from investing in my education more generally. I'm shocked by the negative reviews here because these stars don't reflect what this program is or what it's worth. I'm adding this paragraph to directly address the negative reviews. Dow Janes offered a class that made a pretty bold claim -- that if you follow the curriculum and do all of the steps, you will make your money back and (if I remember correctly) then some. The claim sounded too good to be true, which is why I checked if it was legitimate first. (It is!) I followed all the steps and -- months before I completed the program -- I made my money back and then some. They also went above and beyond for me by extending the program for me by a couple of months when I had some major life changes that threw a wrench into my financial life (and the rest of it). I need to emphasize that I did the work before they helped out. They can see what participants do and don't do, and I don't believe they would have extended that kindness to me had I not been clearly and obviously working the program. It's the same as anything -- you get out what you put in. Life handed me more lemons this year than in any other in my life, and I truly believe having started the *** program with Dow Janes before the unexpected twists and turns of life, financially saved my family.

  Dow Janes is a game changer for empowering and taking control of your financial health! I saved enough money in the first month the of the program to cover the cost! I paid down over 30k of debt in the first year, have maintained a 1k emergency fund for the first time in my life and have built credit (going through a divorce) raising my score from fair to very good and rising! **************** is great, the ******** online community is inspiring and truly wonderful. I wish every woman got this level of financial education and empowerment. A true game changer! Thank you, Dow Janes! Cant recommend you enough!

  I think this is a great program for someone who wants to take responsibility for their finances and investing and needs professional advice on how to do it. Do as much or as little as you like, on your time. I am motivated to do it myself instead of paying a financial advisor. The layout and courses are good. The knowledge I have gained to do it myself is well worth the cost.
