  Absolute garbage builder. **** died in the first month after purchase and refused to replace it.Jacked up the price by 70k 3 days before I put in an offer. No gutters on 90% of the roofline, no backyard landscaping, no garage door opener, and some of the worst customer service l've ever experienced. And now they're selling the same model for 345k. 55k less than what I bought it for. Go to any CBH neighborhood and ask the homeowners how they feel about the house they bought and you'll hear the same thing.This home builder is only mildly better than being homeless. The entire street in my neighborhood had our crawl spaces flood and every single one had to fight to get it fixed. Sent out their field experts (who acted like they were geologists, hydrologists, structural engineers and landscaping experts) and tried to blame me for the issue. Took my neighbor to court and beat him in court over this issue after they(my neighbor) ran out of money s******* their new family over leaving them with a 25k cleanup bill for the crawl space and over 10k in legal costs. I cannot stress this enough, if you need a home, just stay in an apartment a month or two longer, CBH is the absolute worst home builder around and I MASSIVELY REGRET buying their house. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

  We're sorry to hear you are unhappy with your CBH home and service.  Gutters are included over concrete entries only as standard in the majority of our communities, and we show the options of garage openers and rear landscaping was not part of your contract and that you were installing your own after closing. We had our warranty team pull your claims history and show we did respond and sent a rep to assess your home/yard and found plants and drip lines installed directly against your foundation as well as significant overwatering. We also conveyed our recommendations to you afterwards via email, and although not warrantable, we show the team offered to assist you in drying the excess water to help you get back on track, because we truly value and appreciate our homeowners.   Again, we're sorry to hear you are dissatisfied.

  One Star is too nice but zero stars is not an option.BE VERY CAREFUL when deciding whether to buy a home from CBH. I currently reside in their Silver Trail subdivision in Kuna. Subdivisions not sold out completely are *** managed by a board of Corey Barton and his employees, not homeowners. Homeowners get no vote or say in anything related to the **** -2yrs ago the *** mgmt company doubled our *** fees without any advanced discussions.-For years, CBH has not been following their own *** rules by skipping all annual meetings and avoiding any response to homeowner questions.-After ghosting residents asking by the fees doubled yet we have no major amenities (no pool, playground, etc) we began asking/commenting on social media.-Within days of social media push, they changed *** mgmt companies and lowered the dues a small amount, blaming the mgmt company and not themselves.-This year our fees remained the same but the expenses on the budget was cut in half, thus leaving a massive surplus of cash that has no purpose.-Residents asked for a fractional refund of these clear overpayments, CBH is back to ghosting us.-There is absolutely no effort made by the contracted landscaper to keep anything nice, even though we are overpaying for it.-See current landscape images found like ***** Creek St which will be your main road of travel to go see the new homes CBH is trying to sell you.All photos were taken Tues 5/30/23. In summary, you have A LOT of choices of builders to buy from. You cannot even ask real questions because CBH will tell you what you want to hear and ghost you as soon as you have signed on the dotted line. We asked for change and provided months to respond and nothing. The only way they appear to make any effort to work with homeowners is when we share the truth to a wider audience of potential buyers.   IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE 5 STARS I WOULD! I purchased my CBH home February of last year. It has been an utter nightmare!!! I would advise everyone to be very cautious. They are notorious for water issues on the entire property including under the homes. I had a neighbor (2 doors down from me) whose irrigation pipe broke 2 months after moving in and flooded my back yard severely. Not only did CBH not do a thing they tried to pass the buck off, but didnt even know who to pass the buck off to. *** spent the past year trying to get them to fix the problem. And since then I have spent sometimes several days in a row with two pumps going in my backyard to pump out the rainwater, as well as the sprinklers from the poor landscaping along the main road behind me, which was put in by CBH. I have also submitted my one year warranty issues, along with the poor workmanship that needs to be fixed, more than three months ago to have absolutely no one even reach out to me about it. Not only have I contacted CBH directly Ive also sent in request more than a few times to their new warranty service to no avail. Once again would advise extreme cation before purchasing a home from CBH.

  Weve lived in a ******** for 3 months now. And it will be our last! The quality of the work is awful. Our bathroom windows are still mismatched. Seam in our carpet stairs, disconnected wires in our AC unit, paint is chipping, I can go on. They build these homes so fast and without any care to the quality. We had a thorough inspection done, and not everything has been checked off the list even with me nagging about it. Definitely going with another builder next time, one who puts in the time and care into their homes. Not entry level quality. You get what you pay for

  CBH is a well-known builder in Treasure Valley. As a real estate agent, I was lucky to work with ************************* and absolutely impressed by her high work ethics and going extra mile to make sure that all the questions are answered in a timely manner. Even on the weekends and after hours. My client and I are very happy with CBH house and being taken care of *************************. She is the best!!!

  We recently bought a CBH home in ********. The agent that worked with us, ***************************, has done such a wonderful job for us throughout the whole process. She has gone above and beyond to answer questions, spending time getting to know what we were looking for and helped us find the perfect home for us, with all the features we were looking for in a home! We are very happy with our beautiful new home and the community we are in. Even after we have been in our home, ******* has been available to answer any questions we have and gotten answers for us.   I am a realtor that sells a lot of homes each year and a good portion are CBH, I believe in them so much that I helped my own brother buy a CBH home. They have always gone above and beyond to make sure that everything on the homes my clients were buying have been perfect! They welcomed my constant negotiations on behalf of my clients. They just know I have to ask ha ha AND they did not ever play the bidding war game with multiple offers, it has been first come first serve, which allowed me to help so many more clients in the past years that had simply given up.ALL of their realtors, employees and staff are so awesome to work with and accommodating. Lastly they truly value us realtors and will NEVER tell a potential buyer you will save money if you come with out a realtor. They want our clients to feel like they can have their own representation. If I could give them a 10 star I would! Thanks CBH for being so AMZING!
